CHAPTER 6 RESULT

6.1 RESULT After all the components are soldered on the pcb,program the microcontroller with hex file and place the microcontroller in a 40-pin IC base and switch on the circuit.When gas is leaked using lighter,buzzer produces sound.At the same time a message GAS Leakage Detected will be received in the mobile phone whose number has been stored in program code.

6.2 ADVANTAGES Helps in decreasing the chance of accidents. User friendly operations. Cheap and cost effective. Easy to handle and implement. Can be used in houses as LPG leakage detection. It is more effective when compared to other type of automation system.

6.3APPLICATIONS Gas leakage detector (Domestic). Combustible gas leakage detection factories,LPG storage(industrial). Gas detector in cars (Portable). It is little sensitive to smoke,then in kitchen it will not perfectly respond for LPG gas leakage.

6.4 DISADVANTAGES It work only when 5v power supplay is given. Its sensitivity depends on humidity and temperature. Message cannot be received when mobile is switched off or not responding. Network is jammed then the receiving of SMS will be lagged. Message can be sent to only one mobile number.

CHAPTER 7 CONCLUSION AND SCOPE FOR FUTURE WORK

7.1 CONCLUSIONS The Safe LPG For Home system is used for LPG detection.Minute leakage is detected by this system. GSM is included in this system which will help to inform the customer if user about the gas leakage.This system is mainly used in the households in order to avoid fatigue caused by the exploitation of gas.It also plays a role in small scale industries.

7.2 SCOPE FOR FUTURE WORK When automatic on off applicances are embedded with this system,it will be more helpful in industries when gas has been leaked. It can also be used to detect cooking fumes and cigarette smoke. With much more design the system can be transformed to switch off the equipments when have a great threat of getting expored when gas is detected.
