SYSTEM CONFIGURATION FOR PLANT CONTROLS

I. Unit Coordination and boiler modulating control system System configuration for plant control yang digunakan untuk mengontrol keseluruhan system pada power plant yang disebut dengan UCS ( Unit Coordination and boiler modulating control system). UCS Mengatur 2 bagian yaitu : Boiler control dan Turbine control.

Boiler control dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian yaitu 1. BMS (burner Management Control system) Merupakan salah kontrol yang ada diboiler yang mengatur : a. Furnace Purge Untuk Reset MFT b. Fuel Oil Leak test untuk MFT reset c. Start dan Shut Down Primary air system d. Fuel Oil Burner Control e. Coal Burner Control 2. BPS ( Boiler Protection system) 3. BSQ (Boiler Sequence control system) Turbine Control sytem dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian antara Lain : 1. MT-DEHC : Digital electro Hydraulic system for Main turbine 2. TSQ : Turbine Sequence anda modulation control system 3. BFPT A/B D-EHC : Digital electro Hydraulic system for BFPT A and BFPT B 4. D-AVR : Digital Automatic Voltage regulator

5. Plant Automatic Control system 6. SOE : Sequence of Event 7. TSI : Turbine Supervisory Instrument Fungsi Utama dari UCS adalah mengontrol output generator melalui pengaturan : 1. Unit Coordinate Control 2. Combustion control : Air Flow dan Fuel Oil Flow 3. Furnace Draft Control 4. Feed Water dan Drum Level Control 5. Steam Temperature Control 6. Primary air Flow/Outlet Temperature Control 7. Primary Air Pressure Control 8. Auxiliary Steam Presure control 9. AH Cold end metal Temp Control 10. Windbox Damper Control 11. Burner Atomizing steam temperature and pressure control 12. Burner Atomizing air pressure control 13. SH and RH temperature Control 14. Chemical Injection Control 15. Pulverizer inerting pressure and Temperature Control 16. Boiler Blowdown tank level and Tem Temperature Control 17. Sootblower Pressure control 18. Turbine Bypass Controll

Ada Beberapa Control yang mempunyai system yang saling berhubungan satu sama lain yaitu : 1. MW and Main steam Pressure Control 2. Feedwater control 3. Fuel Flow Control a. Cross Limit For Upper Limit

4. Air Flow Control

5. Draft control 6. SH and RH temperature Control

II. HMI Human-Machine Interface (HMI) stations provide state-of-the-art process operation and monitoring for power plants. There are two types of HMI Station, the Operator Station (OPS), which provides tailor-made views for plant operation, and the Server Station (SVS), which handles archival data in addition to providing the same functions as the OPS. Fully independent HMI Stations consisting of the OPS and SVS realize a completely distributed system for better reliability. Each OPS and SVS in a system independently receives plant control data through the C-NET and failure of any OPS never affects data processing of other OPS and SVS stations. Even if the SVS fails, only archival data is affected. On the other hand, if a server fails in the case of server/client system, plant operation via all the related client stations will be impossible

The Integrated Engineering Station (IES) provides a comprehensive set of engineering and maintenance functions for the HMI and ACS. The Information Network (I-NET) is used for information data transmission between OPS, SVS and peripherals.

III. Unit Operation Mode 1. Coordinate control mode (CC) Requirements : - Boiler Control ( Fuel ,Air and Draft Control ) in Auto Mode - Turbine Control in Auto Mode ( Gov Control,Turbine Master,MSP SV,HPT BV) - CC Controls Generator MW and Boiler Controls Main steam press

2. Boiler Follow Mode (BF) Requirement ; -Boiler Control in auto - Turbine Master Isnot Auto - Boiler Controls Main steam Pressure, MW can be adjusted by Gov Manually -Condition : StartUp and FCB

3. Turbine Follow Mode (TF) - Boiler Master is Not Auto - Turbine Master is Auto

- Gov Controls main steam pressure and maintain the unit, Boiler Input Demand Constant

4. Boiler and Turbine Manual Mode (BTMAN)
