Applications

EDUCATION High occupancy levels during teaching periods require energy-efficient and controllable demand-based management of air quality and temperature. The comfort, health and alertness of staff and pupils is ensured during the learning process, but operating costs can be minimised when these facilities are unoccupied.

GYMNASIUM/ INDOOR SPORTS Differing types of activity and occupancy mean a broad spectrum of functional requirements to ensure efficient removal of used air and the introduction of fresh supplies. Systems need to contain and control the periodic build up of high humidity levels and temperature.

OFFICES Flkt Woods offer a high performance product range covering all key elements of the overall ventilation system. Our products are designed to secure the best overall performance of the system as a whole, considering parameters such as health and air quality, energy efficiency, noise, fire safety and ease of installation.

INDUSTRY Flkt Woods technology is used widely in industrial processing plants and factories for ventilation of work spaces, as vital components in high tech manufacturing facilities, and for maintaining delicate environments within high tolerance levels in petrochemical and pharmaceutical plants. RETAIL/ SHOPPING AREAS With high activity levels during the working week and weekends, its important to make sure that all areas of ventilation are maintained and Flkt Woods has the systems to achieve all requirements.

APARTMENTS HEALTHCARE For a hospital to operate at its maximum potential, it has to have all systems working at the optimum. This not only applies to staff, communications and life support systems, but also to pipework, cleaning and ventilation systems. The purpose of ventilation is to provide clean good quality air by removing the stale, polluted air from our homes. The main task is of course to ensure that the indoor air is healthy and safe to breathe. Ventilation today is also about energy and saving energy costs by adding heat recovery to the ventilation system.

New optimised design layout
Developed using CFD software Reduced height allows for easy installation into ceiling voids; Side access for inspection and maintenance; Differential pressure switches included as standard - provides dirty filter alarm C ondensation drainage system, with side mounted drain point to minimise height

Power Saving

Supply & Exhaust Fans - EC Motors fitted

Complete with direct driven centrifugal fans; single or double inlet with forward curved impeller blades Direct driven via high-performance EC (Electronically Commutated) motors with built in speed control and thermal protection as standard. EC technology is an ecological solution guaranteeing low energy consumption and better management and control of the operating point (air flows can be controlled from 30 to 100%)

Filters
Filters are included to provide protection to other components (ie, exchanger/fans) and are designed for easy fitting/removal The e co Star unit is equipped with G4 grade filter media
