OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE The primary objective of the course is to enable Management students of all discipline to understand Lean philosophy, processes and implement the same in the Organizations. COURSE OUTLINE The course is intended to imbibe the Lean thinking in Management students; the path chosen to do so is by means of theoretical sessions followed by practical exercises. All the topics covered are explained using case studies and industry examples. Among the topics are Evolution of Lean Manufacturing systems, Identifying Waste, Lean Tools, and Quality Problems solving tools, etc. LEARNING OUTCOMES At the end of the program students shall be able to, 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
