To put the two body pieces together, sew around the sides, starting at the bottom until you've reached the neck. Stop sewing and turn the body outside out (right terminology?) and start

stufng. Continue sewing and stop at the trunk and stuff the head. Sew up both sides of the trunk as stuff through the top (I used a hook to stuff the stufng in). Finish sewing and sew in ends Tail: ***Before you start the chain, make sure you have 24 inches of yarn for the starting tail*** Ch 12, sl st in 2nd st from hook and in each remaining st of ch. Cut & nish yarn.

Take beginning tail and wind yarn like this so that it "snakes" into four inch lines. Then knot the strings together at the base of the chain and cut the loops at the un-knotted end. To keep the strings together, I took a piece of yarn and wrapped it around a small section of the string so that it owed better (right). Also, you could optionally sew on a mouth if you wanted.
