Trkiye'de Kompozit Sektr / The Composites Sector in Turkey

Kompozit sektr, Trkiye'de, Avrupa ve dnya byme oranlarnn zerinde bir byme gstermektedir. 2010 ylna kadar, ortalama % 8-12 arasnda byme grlrken, daha sonraki yllarda da, % 9-10 orannda bir byme beklenmektedir. Kompozit sektr dnyada 7,3 milyon ton, 43,5 milyar Euro'luk bir ticaret hacmine; Avrupa'da 2,25 milyon ton ve Trkiye'de 120.000 tonluk retim hacmine sahiptir. Trkiye'de otomotiv, inaat ve altyap sektrlerindeki kompozit kullanmlar, toplam kompozit kullanmnn yarsndan daha fazlasn oluturmaktadr. Otomotiv, inaat ve altyap sektrlerinin hzl bir ekilde bymesi yabanc reticilerin dikkatini ekmektedir. Trkiye'nin corafi konumu, hzl yaplanmas ve Trk firmalarn komu lkelerdeki inaat sektrnde sz sahibi olmasndan dolay, inaat sektrnde kullanlan kompozit malzemelerin retimi hzl bir byme gstermitir. The rate of growth of Turkey's composites sector is higher than the growth rates of Europe and the world. While the sector recorded an average rate of growth of 8%-12% up until 2010, an expansion of 9%-10% is expected in the following years. The world composites sector, standing at 7.3 million tons, represents a trade volume of 43.5 billion Euros. The production volume of the European composites sector is 2.25 million tons and that of Turkey is 120,000 tons. In Turkey, the use of composites in the automotive, construction and infrastructure sectors comprise more than half of total composite usage. The rapid growth in the automotive, construction and infrastructure sectors has captured the interest of foreign manufacturers. Turkey's geographical location, the fast pace of the building sector, and the fact that Turkish companies now play a part in the construction sectors of neighboring countries are factors that have created a rapid expansion in the production of composite materials . It is foreseen that this growth will continue in the years ahead. With international automotive corporations expanding their production facilities in Turkey, new companies starting to manufacture, and the tendency of the sector to concentrate on light vehicles in order to lower gasoline costs, durable composite materials are now being preferred over metals. The need for these materials has contributed greatly to the development of the sector. In this context, as of Artkim Group, we have added another sector fair to the series of fairs and sector publications through which, for some years now, we have been sharing our experiences with the chemicals sector. This new event is Eurasian Composites Show, which will bring together in Istanbul the composites sectors of the Middle East, Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Balkans. To be held on November 14-16, 2013, the Composite Industry and Production Technologies Exhibition, Eurasian Composites Show will take place concurrently with Putech Eurasia, Polyurethane Industry Exhibition and will signify an important step in the direction of contributing to the establishment of new commercial ties, the advancement of Research and Development efforts, and broadening the interchange of information in the sector. Why is Eurasian Composites Show being held together with the Polyurethane Exhibition, Putech Eurasia? The participants of "Polyurethane Industry Exhibition, Putech Eurasia" will be the companies that manufacture and sell polyurethane raw materials as well as machinery and equipment to this specific sector. The target sector audience of the fair encompasses the automotive, aviation, defense, white goods, energy, construction, heating and cooling, insulation, shoes, ship and yacht industries among others, as well as the municipalities. Composite materials are used in areas where polyurethane is used.
