    At time of writing the Dec '13 EUA Contract was at 3.33. The current downward trend started on Friday, at the start of the session and is reflected in the energy complex, we saw Brent Crude go as low as $101.56 at 3:00pm on Friday. This is reflected in a bleak global outlook and strengthening dollar. There was a signal last week with all the poor utility data. Consumption and production look to be down across the board. A couple of weeks there was warnings that we were about to pass the significant milestone of 400ppm CO2 in the atmosphere. Last Thursday, atop a volcano on Hawaii's biggest Island scientists measured levels above 400ppm for the first time. This station is ground zero for these measurements in the Scientific world. Scientists now believe that the momentum is in place to pass the 450 ppm level. This level represents a 2oC rise, the level at which Nations are trying not to surpass. The world emitted 38.2 million tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere in 2011. This accounts for 75% iof the GHG'S emitted. China was responsible for 10 billion tonnes of this. The big worry is that their emissions are growing by 10% year on year. The US came in second, after cutting emmissions to 5.9 million tonnes/year. We are a society that has inadvertently chosen the double-black diamond run without having learned to ski first,NASA climate scientist Gavin Schmidt said. It will be a bumpy ride.
