This case belongs to a head of the organization on deputation whose term was coming to an end on Feb 18, 2010 and as known to me, he was in extreme tension for further continuing in the office in the same status. There was a possibility of his continuance but nothing was heard till Feb 8, 2010. Out of my astrological interest, I ventured to assess if the native would continue in the existing top position and I took horary number 81 for this question myself. The chart was casted on Feb 8, 2010 at 13-39-05 Hrs at Bangalore. The chart was rotated to 11th house to represent the native. The rotated chart is as follows Coordinates of judgment Lagna in this chart represents the native and 9th cusp/house represents the superiors whom he reports. The prospects in a horary chart relating to the profession are primarily governed by the 10H, as this house decides the way the flow of karma takes place for matters relating to profession. It may be noted that the analysis of cusps of various houses along with the planetary significations represent the fixed promises of the chart but the results are dispensed by the suitable dasha-bhukti in consonance with the transits. The Query In the horary chart, Moon is placed in 6th house indicating the matter pertaining to the job. Moon in the star of Mercury falling in the 8th house indicates some impediments and anxiety to the native. With the above, I took the chart OK to proceed for further analysis. Analysis of the chart Look at the promise indicated by the lagna. Rahu is the lagna sub-lord, which by way of its placement in 8th house close to the 8th cusp makes the extension at the top position not so easy. At the stellar level, Rahu falls in the star of 6th lord Venus placed in 9th house, which favor the native by the superiors. Rahu disposes Jupiter (sign lord) and Venus (Star lord). Jupiter as 11th lord is placed in 9th house, hence the favor from the superiors is assured. In short, the indications of Lagna do promise the continuance of the job with the support of the superiors. Look at the 10th cuspal sub-lord 10th cuspal sub-lord is retro-Saturn. Saturn is a strong 10th lord and its placement in the 4th house of stagnation actually favors the native, as the continuation of the native in the same position may be looked as the stagnation. At the stellar level, Saturn falls in the star and sub of 3rd lord Moon placed in 6th house, which does promise favor the native for continuing at the same position.

Look at the 9th cuspal sub-lord 9th cuspal indicates the natives superiors and let us see what they have to do for the native. Rahu as sub-lord has been discussed in the preceding para and it sound that the superiors do favor the continuance of the native in the office. Look at the fortuna Fortuna falls in the 10th house, a good sign. Fortuna falls in the star and sub of 2nd lord Mercury placed in 8th house. Thus, it does not sound for a long-term benefit. Look at the 11th cusp Mars is the 11th cuspal sub-lord placed in the star of Saturn (10th lord) and in the own sub placed in 2nd house. Thus, 11th cusp does establish clear link with the 2-10th houses indicating that the native would continue in the office at the same position. Look at the dasha breakup. Mercury-Moon-Saturn was running till May 05, 2010. Dasha lord-Mercury falls in the star of Sun placed in 9th house and in the sub of 10th lord Saturn, thus favorable. Bhukti lord Moon is 3rd lord placed in 6th house. Moon in star of 2nd lord Mercury placed in 8th house and Moon aspected by 10th lord Saturn was considered OK. Thus, the DBA was found suitable to favor continuance of the native in the same position in the office. Conclusion It was understood by examining the chart that there was a good possibility of the native to continue in the office on the same position. Prof. Krishnamurthy has devised a pioneering predictive model in astrology, which deserves sincere appreciation. Some facts of the case It was learnt that the native was informed on Feb 17, 2010 night by phone that his case was approved by the relevant ministry for continuing in the same position for 3 months. Note that Moon was transiting in U Bhadra star (Saturn) and Lagna in Virgo (Mercury) at that time.

Inter - Caste and Love Marriage Rules

This article is to check the validity of three KP rules and seven Vedic rules regarding intercaste, inter-community or inter-religion and love marriage on the basis of 60 charts. The Vedic rules are compiled by Sri R. Satish from the Astrological Magazine 2005/2006. In checking the KP rules, the KP charts with KPNA (2003) by KPAstro 3.5 and the signification by occupation and lordship at all three levels of planet, star and sub are applied. For the CSL planet, Rahu/Ketu acting agents of planets in conjunction and aspect and sign lord are checked, and the CSLs star and sub are also considered. For Vedic rules , the Rasi charts are applied in taking house and lordship.

3. KP Rules 7th CSL connection to Rahu/Ketu indicates intercaste marriage. It is found valid in 54 out of 60 charts (90%). 5th CSL connection to Rahu/Ketu indicates intercaste marriage. It is found valid in 48 out of 60 charts (80%). 5th CSL signification of 7th house or 7th CSL signification of 5th house indicates love marriage. It is found valid in 55 out of 60 charts (91.7%). Note: 7th or 5th CSL connection to Rahu/Ketu is found in 59 out of 60 charts (98.3%). Both 7th and 5ht CSLs connection to Rahu/Ketu is found in 44 out of 60 charts (73.3%). 1. 2. 3. 4. Vedic Rules 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. The conjunction and aspect between 7th lord, Mars, Rahu with Venus indicates inter -caste marriage. It is found valid in 31 out of 60 charts (51.7%). Lagna lord in 7th or the Moon aspecting 7th house indicates love marriage. It is found valid in 14 out of 60 charts (23.3%). Retro Jupiter aspecting Lagna or occupying it indicates intercaste marriage. Jupiter is found retrograde in 22 out of 60 charts (36.7%). This rule is found valid in 3 out of these 22 charts (13.6%). 5th lord with Rahu /Ketu or in constellation ruled by them indicates intercaste marriage. It is found valid in 22 out of 60 charts (36.7%). Sat in 5th /9th house or in constellation of Rahu/Ketu is found valid in 19 out of 60 charts (31.7%). Lagna lord and 6th lord in conjunction or aspect rule is found valid in 19 out of 51 charts (37.2%). (In 9 out of 60 charts, the same planet is both Lagna lord and 6th lord.) 5th/7th lords, houses afflicted by Saturn, Rahu, Ketu rule is found valid in 53 out of 60 charts (88.3%).
5. Conclusion 1st and 2nd KP rules of intercaste marriage and 3rd KP rule of love marriage and Vedic 7th rule of inter-caste marriage are found valid in this study of 60 charts. Validity of KP and Vedic Inter Cast and Love Marriage Rules

His Highness Sri Jayachamaraja Wodeyar Bahadur (July 18, 1919 September 23, 1974) was the 25th and the last Maharaja of the princely state of Mysore from 1940 to 1950. He was a noted philosopher, musicologist, political thinker and philanthropist. He was the only son of Yuvaraja Kanteerava Narasimharaja Wadiyar and Yuvarani Kempu Cheluvaja Amanni. He graduated from the Maharajas College, Mysore in 1938, earning five awards and gold medals. He toured Europe during 1939, visiting many associations in London and became acquainted with many artists and scholars. He ascended the throne of the Kingdom of Mysore on September 8, 1940 after the demise of his uncle Maharaja Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar. I wanted to read the vedas and upanishads in their original Sanskrit language. I earnestly pursued the learning of Sanskrit. Then another thought crossed my mind. I had the good fortune of having the needed facility to learn Sanskrit. How many people have that privilege? Our people must be enabled to have access to this great heritage through their own language. Observations: 1) After vindication of the quantum of ascendant, we can recognise the mere influence of dasas having signi cations of the negative bhavas 5th and 8th for degradation/punishment/demolition. 2) Absence of 2nd (self-earnings, bank balance) and 11th (fulfilment of desire) houses at entire dasa level is vindicating no evidence of their earnings. That means to be just born to rule and contribute. They were having a deep knowledge of art but had not gained monetory influence of it.

This month I am going to discuss about Duodednal complaints relating to Intestine and 3 charts were taken up (Source: Dr. Bhamidipati Satyanarayana Murthy & Astrodatabank). Sri K Raghavendra Kumar M.Sc. B.Ed, extended his assistance in preparing this article. Duodenum: The duodenum is the first section of the small intestine in most higher vertebrates, including mammals, reptiles, and birds. The duodenum precedes the jejunum and ileum and is the shortest part of the small intestine, where most chemical digestion takes place. The name duodenum is from the Latin duodenum digitorum, or twelve fingers' breadths. In humans, the duodenum is a hollow jointed tube about 25-30 cm (1012 in) long connecting the stomach to the jejunum. It begins with the duodenal bulb and ends at the ligament of Treitz. Function: The duodenum is largely responsible for the breakdown of food in the small intestine, using enzymes. Brunner's glands, which secrete mucus, are found in the duodenum. The duodenum wall is composed of a very thin layer of cells that form the muscularis mucosae. The duodenum is almost entirely retroperitoneal. The duodenum also regulates the rate of emptying of the stomach via hormonal pathways. Secretin and cholecystokinin are released from cells in the duodenal epithelium in response to acidic and fatty stimuli present there when the pylorus opens and releases gastric chyme into the duodenum for further digestion. These cause the liver and gall bladder to release bile, and the pancreas to release bicarbonate and digestive enzymes such as trypsin, lipase and amylase into the duodenum as they are needed. New studies have shown that around 80% of obese people who had gastric bypass surgery (bypassing the duodenum) were cured of their type 2 diabetes. However, the disappearance of their diabetes came long before the actual weight loss. When the same operation was performed on diabetic rats, they too were rid of their diabetes. However, when the operation was reversed in the animals, the diabetes returned. This shows that preventing food from entering the duodenum can have a dramatic impact on people suffering from type 2 diabetes. It is most likely that one of the digestive additives produced by the Duodenum on entry of food in to it (or a secondary product) is absorbed by the jejunum and ileum and spread into the body instead of passing through the digestive system. The presence of those chemicals causes the muscles to exhibit insulin resistance and ultimately Type 2 Diabetes. Identification of these chemicals may lead to a cure for Type 2 Diabetes. Sections: The duodenum is divided into four sections for the purposes of description. The first three sections curve in a "C"-loop concavity in which the head of the pancreas lies. Only the first 2 cm of the superior part is mobile (covered by peritoneum) - the distal 3cm of the first part along with the rest of the duodenum is retroperitoneal (immobile). First part : The first (superior) part begins , for approximately 5 cm, before making a sharp curve inferiorly into the superior duodenal flexure (the end of the superior part). Second part: The second (descending) part of the duodenum begins at the superior duodenal flexure. It passes inferiorly to the lower border of vertebral body L3, before making a sharp turn medially into the inferior duodenal flexure (the end of the descending part). The pancreatic duct and common bile duct enter the descending duodenum, commonly known together as the hepatopancreatic duct (or pancreatic duct in the United States), through the major duodenal papilla (known as Ampulla of Vater). This part of the duodenum also contains the minor duodenal papilla, the entrance for the accessory pancreatic duct. The junction between the embryological foregut and midgut lies just below the major duodenal papilla. Third part: The third (inferior/horizontal) part of the duodenum begins at the inferior duodenal flexure and passes transversely to the left, crossing the right ureter, right testicular/ovarian vessels, inferior vena cava, abdominal aorta, superior mesenteric artery and the vertebral column. Fourth part: The fourth (ascending) part passes superiorly, either anterior to, or to the right of, the aorta, until it reaches the inferior border of the body of the pancreas. Then, it curves anteriorly and terminates at the duodenojejunal flexure where it joins the jejunum. The duodenojejunal flexure is surrounded by a peritoneal fold containing muscle fibres: the ligament of Treitz. Duodenal cancer is a cancer in the beginning section of the small intestine. It is relatively rare compared to gastric cancer and colorectal cancer. Its histology is usually adenocarcinoma. Familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) is a risk factor for developing this cancer. The duodenum is the first part of the small intestine. It is located between the stomach and the jejunum. After foods combine with stomach acid, they descend into the duodenum where they mix with bile from the gall bladder and digestive juices from the pancreas.
Treatment: Resection is sometimes a part of a treatment plan, but duodenal cancer is difficult to remove surgically because of the area that it resides in--there are many blood vessels supplying the lower body. Chemotherapy is sometimes used to try and shrink the cancerous mass. Other times intestinal bypass surgery is tried to reroute the stomach to intestine connection around the blockage. A 'Whipple' is a possible surgery that is tried sometimes with this cancer. Some patients are fitted with tubes to either add nutrients (feeding tubes) or drainage tubes to remove excess processed food that can not pass the blockage.
The cancerous mass tends to block food from getting to the small intestine. If food can not get to the intestines, it will cause pain, acid reflux, and weight loss because the food can not get to where it is supposed to be processed and absorbed by the body. Question- 1 While ascertaining the sex of the child to be born, as you said quoting Shri Gondhalekar, we see the even\odd sign of the planet in the 4th step. Please guide me in which horoscope this has to be seen , the traditionally erected horoscope (rashi chart} or the KP horoscope which is prepared according to the degrees of Placidus cusps (bhava chalit). Answer - 1 It's to see the Rasi sign (from the beginning to the end of sign). For example, Mars at Leo 27-25-19 is the sub-lord of the 5th cusp. 1st step: Mars 2nd step: Star Lord of Mars is Sun; 3rd step: Sub lord of Mars is Moon; 4th step: Star Lord of Moon is Mercury. If Mercury is placed in Scorpio (Female sign), female child is predicted. Question- 2 While considering sex determination of child, Shri Gondhalekar's 4 step theory gives mostly correct result for the sex of 1st child. But in some cases, the sex differs in respect of 2nd issue when considering 7th for female and Lagna for male (in wife and husband of the same pair). Is there any exception for this difference? Answer- 2 Any such significant difference is not found in our Child Gender Prediction Analysis, KPE-zine July 2008 issue, i.e. the correct result by 4 step child gender prediction method is 56% for the 1st child and 49% for all children. Question- 3 Jupiter and Mercury get directional strength i.e. Dig Bala when placed in Lagna (Lagna kendra). In such cases both the planets get good strength, when they are Lagna lords themselves. In KP House Grouping Part 1, when discussing about Lagna lord's strength, 1st house is not taken for the strength and only 2,3,9,10,11,4 are taken for very strong lagna lord. Is there no exception to Jupiter and Mercury in Lagna? Kindly clarify. Answer- 3 There is no exception to Jupiter and Mercury in Lagna as such traditional idea of Dig Bala is not considered in KP.

Will the alliance/coalition between BJP and JD(U) continue? Today all Indian news channels broadcast news regarding the return of Rs 5 crore to Gujarat Govt. by Nitish Kumar. Nitish Kumar has returned the Rs 5 crore lying unspent in the CM's relief account that was received from Gujarat after floods devastated large parts of the Kosi river belt in 2008, officials said on Saturday. The move comes after local papers last week carried advertisements about the help given by the Gujarat government for Kosi flood victims. Asked if the decision would affect the relationship between JD(U) and the BJP, he said, "As of now I don't think there is any problem. That was a localised and on the spot problem that had cropped up. I think we are running the government efficiently so far. I do not think there is any problem as of now". The decision to return the money comes at a time when the parties are preparing for the Assembly elections in Bihar due later this year. After watching this news, a question arose in my mind about the present relations between two political parties.
