In 2008, I moved onto The Mix Radio as a presenter and over two years presented over 100 shows, including a 10hour Comic Relief show in March 2009. Since October 2010, I have also been the president of my universitys Radio Society. My show and presenting style has always been one of fun and variety, including music, entertainment, comedy and competitions. In June 2013, I presented my first show on FM Radio as a guest host on Flash 87.9 in Portsmouth, South East England. Television Production: Through my university, I was able to work at the London 2012 Olympic Games as a VTR logger. My role was centred on recording and creating live logs for basketball games and press conferences a high pressured job with a great responsibility. Working with the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS), I was able to gain an excellent idea into how the live production and distribution of feeds is completed for the worlds biggest sporting event. It was an honour to work at the Games and although I would ideally like to work in front of the camera, I was able to experience life behind the scenes. Podcasting: As I do not currently have access to live broadcasting systems for radio, I am exploring podcasting as a new platform. I have made podcasts before in the form of highlights packages for radio shows but now I am looking into original content podcasts. I am experienced in music and audio editing and mixing due to previous attempts and a musical flavour running in my family with live musicians and

DJs. In terms of video-casting and TV editing, I have completed a 3-day course at university recently, run by ex-BBC staff. Acting: At present, I am not involved with any acting groups but in the past have belonged to groups in and out of my education. In 2008 2009, I was a member of Horndean Amateur Theatrical Society (HATS) where I sat as the group secretary for a term of 12 months. My acting experience however covers 7 years through GCSE Drama (graded A) and various performances. Photography: With help from friends and family, I shall soon be trying my hand at photography both studio and outdoor. Already, I take images for this and many other websites and snap away as an amateur photographer ... but watch this space! Other Past Jobs: Outside of my media work, I have had a variety of jobs ranging from working in a fast food restaurant, to operating rollercoasters in a major UK theme park. The majority of my jobs have been in customer-facing roles and working with families. This means that I have had the opportunity to meet, talk to and work with a very diverse range of people. Also, from these jobs, I have worked in high pressure, demanding roles which have required me to partake in high-quality training, to train others to the same standards, to work collaboratively and do all of these while presenting myself with a smile a key to any job and industry. OCCUPATIONAL AMBITION Although I am working on a teaching degree and work in a theme park, my love for media will never leave me and so I hope to continue finding work in this field. As time goes on, I would like to have experience both as the talent and behind the scenes to gain as many skills as possible and learn as much as I can. My ultimate dream would be to act or present on national television in my own series of shows. MORE ABOUT ME Hobbies and Interests: Drama, cooking, receiving and creating media, keeping up to date with the news, watching Formula 1 and tennis. Idols: Megan Mullally (actress, singer, TV presenter, star of NBCs Will and Grace) and Davina McCall (TV presenter of Channel 4s The Million Pound Drop Live) and more), Jessie J (English female singer and coach on BBCs The Voice UK). Musical Influences: I love music from many artists and have an eclectic mix of favourites covering pop, rock, jazz, musicals, Motown, Indie Rock and classical. IN DEPTH EDUCATION I have 13 GCSEs in ICT, English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Food and Nutrition, Drama, History, Digital Photography, Religious Studies and German. Also, I achieved 4 A Levels in Media, English Language, Psychology and Maths. In June 2013, I finished my degree at Kingston University, London.
