Gain further insight to silver dressing formulations, construction and performance. Think creatively and experiment with ideas. Demonstrate the assessment skills necessary for determining wound etiology and p otential for healing. Apply ethical p ractice in wound management. Plan an optimal wound management protocol based on assessment and needs of a particular client. Identify and implement strategies to facilitate successful wound management. Evaluate the effectiveness of a wound management p rotocol as the wound progresses through the phases of healing. Identify and discuss the appropriate roles of adjunctive therapy modalities in wound healing. Provide clients with comprehensive health teaching relating to wound healing regimes and preventative strategies. Identify and categorize resources available within the clients health region to facilitate optimal wound management.
