HELLO!
Hello! This is our third Lancaster Jazz Festival and is by far the biggest, most ambitious and most terrifying (for us anyway) to date. Weve both had great fun programming and were really excited about the line-up - its going to be fantastic! Weve spent ages getting the right venues and some unbelievable artists: Neil Cowley in The Round (its going to sound stupendous), Beats & Pieces in The Dalton Rooms, a workshop and solo performance from Matthew Bourne, exciting young acts from around the country in Olivias Owls, The Moods, Allsorts and Blind Monk Trio, local stalwarts doing something different for us and performances from our first schools workshops with support from the Galbraith Trust. Weve got a chandeliered garden, a vintage Steinway, an art gallery, our very own festival beer Every event is going to be unique and different - celebrating amazing music. Were right in the heart of historic Lancaster with its twice weekly market and newly reopened Castle - everythings walk able, small and intimate, and mega exciting. A massive thanks to all our partners, venues, members and, to all the brilliant artists who said yes! Many of the events are free or as cheap as its possible to be we want you to come and join us and if you keep coming well keep doing it. Cheers! Its sheer emotion and energy touch lovers of all music. @neilcowleytrio
