Wood 2 Assignment Brief The submission of a Masters Level Dissertation has attached to it a requirement for students to demonstrate the ability to defend a given position on the basis of the use of evidence gathered as part of that Dissertation. It is therefore expected that the following criteria, and therefore Learning Outcomes should be fulfilled within an MBA level Dissertation::: The work must provide evidence that you as a student are capable of critically evaluating major schools of thought within relevant management theory in your chosen topic. It must show context for your study, and translate theory into practice through the study of its application in the real world. There must be clear evidence of the selection of appropriate material and research design. There must be evidence shown of a framework to allow the undertaking of empirical research in a selected area, with logical structure and argument. There must be evidence of a clear understanding of the major basic issues contained within the study undertaken , both factually and theoretically; and evidence of drawn conclusions around the implications of the results for managerial decision-making.
