Course Description: A study of relationship between diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease that are something transcribed designed for easy use and written especially with the general reader in mind, this invaluable reference brings the latest in medical science. This is the beginning medical transcription course designed to provide students with a working knowledge of the transcription of the medical reports. FINAL EXAMINATIONS CLASSROOM POLICIES 1. Attendance is checked regularly. Late comers will not be admitted after 15 minutes. 2. Student wearing incomplete uniform will not be admitted. 3. Personal electronic devices need to be turned off during class or otherwise it will be confiscated. 4. Projects/ requirements for the subject should be submitted on time. COURSE REQUIREMENT 1. There is one (1) written major examination. If not able to take the exam on schedule, it is the students responsibility to inform the instructor prior to the given schedule. 2. Quizzes will be given announced or unannounced. If absent, a make up quiz will be given provided that there will an excuse letter signed by the guardian or physician. 3. Students are required to participate during group activities, discussion and individual activities.
