Northern Public Affairs Fall 2013
Northern Public Affairs is seeking articles for its Fall 2013 issue. Northern Public Affairs publishes articles on a variety of topics related to public life in Northern Canada, including health, education, economics, the environment, and the arts. The editors are particularly interested in articles written by authors in Canadas provincial Norths. The deadline for expressions of interest is July 29, 2013 with articles due on or before September 23, 2013. Please contact northernpublicaffairs@gmail.com for more information. About Northern Public Affairs Northern Public Affairs is a not-for-profit print and online publication featuring in-depth discussion and analysis of policy issues affecting northern Canadians. In partnership with the Nunavut Research Institute, the Aurora Research Institute, and the Yukon Research Centre, Northern Public Affairs is published and distributed to politicians and senior officials in federal, territorial, municipal, and Aboriginal governments, libraries and learning centres, corporations and nonprofits, commercial outlets, and a growing list of subscribers in Northern and southern Canada. Submission details Northern Public Affairs encourages authors to submit articles of 750 3000 words (negotiable) written for a non-technical audience. Please inquire before submitting an article in full. Initial submissions should be made to northernpublicaffairs@gmail.com on or before the announced deadline. Upon submission, the editors will review your work and provide feedback. A revision schedule will be negotiated with the editors.
