Description: Intellectual Property Management System (IPMS) is idea generation phase is to establish a structured mechanism for consistently and regularly generating ideas for creating IP. It is important to understand the concept of an idea. In brief, an idea is something that has the potential to create an IP asset for Centris. It represents a thinking that can potentially result in a product / process/ service / business model that can be leveraged for business benefit by Centris. It is expected that the IP created will typically be in line with the strengths of the service lines already existing in Centris or service lines expected to be started in the future. It is also important to understand that while the idea should be logically complete, the idea owner is not expected to provide detailed information on aspects relevant to the business case that is essential to take decisions on investments for the IP. The ideas generated may be for both large and regular ideas. This process, while encouraging ideas for large IPs, will also help in harvesting regular ideas useful for generating IP.
