We may accept some of the vaccination records if they are original prints, in English, and if they are reliable for us (we reserve the right of accepting or not). Please do not bring us any record other than original which may be considered as a fraud attempt in the immigration procedure. You will start from one of the 3 mandatory parts of the standard procedure: A) Adult (after 15th birthday ) needs for 2 working days: Medical Examination and Vaccination, Chest X-ray and Blood Test. Random drug testing is also in the screening procedure.

B)Child (before 15th birthday, after 2nd birthday)need for 4 working days: We need to apply here a TB Skin Test, Medical Examination and Vaccination. 3 days after the TB skin test (TST) we read the test result. If the test result is 10mm or more, we order a Chest X-ray. We do not apply a TB test on Thursdays. Do not let your child to have a live vaccine in 4 weeks time before coming here. In that case, we need to tell you to wait for the next 4 weeks, which is the necessary time interval to apply a TST after a live vaccine. There must be a time interval of at least 4 weeks between the vaccine and the TST. We are not able to skip the TST test procedure for your child and we do not accept the test result from another medical center. If we need to clarify a medical condition, you may need more time. Our system decides where to start and guides you when you are here. Please do not come here earlier than your appointment date, but also try to be in time, in order not to cause an accumulation of the applicants which have appointments after you. The medical examination must be completed before the interview date and the result, together with the other required documents, must be taken to the interview. No need to take the chest x-ray (digital recorded CD) to the embassy, a summary report of it will be in your sealed final medical report file. But please do not open the sealed file and give it to the Embassy. When you arrive at Ankara (Esenboga) Airport, if you do not have a private transfer, you have mainly three options to go to the city center like most of the other passengers do: 1. Airport bus "HAVAS" (http://www.havas.net/en/shuttle-parking/ankara/ ) 2. Municipality Buses called EGO Otobs (to Kzlay or Ulus ) 3. Taxi Esenboga airport is a small airport and it is 33 km (21 miles, about 40 minutes in normal traffic) northeast of the city center. Inexpensive

Municipality Buses called EGO Otobs to Kzlay or Ulus (around 4 TL Turkish Liras/2.5 USD), or private Havas airport transfer bus to the HAVAS Main terminal/Ankara Central Gar-train station/and/or Ankara Intercity bus terminal called as Ati (around 10 TL/7 USD), or you may choose to use a bit more expensive taxi (around 60-70 USD). When you are in the city center if you ask for Kugulu Park which is next to the DUZEN Laboratory in Kavaklidere. This is the only laboratory registered by US Embassy Ankara for the tests and it is sharing the same building with our practice. Our practice is 500 meters away from the American Embassy on the main boulevard on the opposite side of the street. (http://www.doctorun.com/index.php?categoryid=11) Please do not make more than one appointment for the same applicant as the system may delete both of them due to "fraud prevention" measures and please make an appointment for each applicant, individually, including the infants and children. The doctor can speak in Turkish, English, Persian and some Arabic enough for the medical examination (not in the phone conversation), so there is no need for a translator in the room. If you are making this appointment for your family members, for your fianc(e) or for your parents (or others ) please be sure that they bring the necessary documents including the appointment letters both for medical and also for the embassy. Please print the draft map in the link above to make them find our address easier, and be sure that they know they have an appointment with us. Have a nice trip, Secretary of DoctorUN
