TOKAI RIKA to establish a new company for producing seatbelts in Indonesia

Aichi, Japan August 30, 2012 TOKAI RIKA CO., LTD. (Yuzo Ushiyama, President) has decided to establish a new company in Indonesia with Hsin Chong Machinary Works group (Taiwan). The new company will be established in an industrial town in Tangerang, where is neighboring to Jakarta. The new company will be called PT.TOKAI RIKA SAFETY INDONESIA and its establishment is planned in December 2012. This will be the second company in Indonesia next to PT.TOKAI RIKA INDONESIA which has already started production of switch and security products in Bekasi, West Java Province. The purpose of establishing the new company that produces seatbelts is to support the needs of TOKAI RIKAs customers actively and quickly in the country, where further expansion of the car market is expected. TOKAI RIKA is aiming to establish its local production system of the main products as switch, security, and safety products, and reinforce the business base in Indonesia.
