There are weekly homework assignments. Only three problems from each assignment will be graded. Copies of solutions to all assigned problems will be made available online at the official course web site. Team quizzes (34) will be given intermittently throughout the semester. Teams will be assigned during the first week of classes. The two term tests and the final examination will be closed book, closed notes. An official formula sheet will be provided during the examination (and is also available at the official course web site). The design problem will be allocated approximately one lecture hour. The specific instructions for the study, solution and submission of the design problem will be included in the assignment. The design problem is a team assignment. The final examination will be on Thursday, August 8th, during the regularly scheduled class time. 1
