Verstality I have a profound interest in quizzing. I have been a part of many quiz contests.

My journey started with finishing second in a major quiz completion in sixth grade, and then I ranked third in state MBD exam. I also received a silver merit certificate in nation cyber Olympiad. Then I continued it with a state level quizzing competition in my twelfth grade where my school team captained by me finished fourth out of 134 schools. When I started my work life, I reignited the quizzer in me. I have won the Tata motors Pantnagar finale of Blitzkrieg twice, the event attracts near about 1000 participants each year. In the two international finale of Blitzkrieg I finished third in 2011 and fourth in 2012. The urge to be the winner in a major event still unsettles me. I like playing billiards, football and foosball and have played guitar at company event but I consider them leisure.

Here in a list of achievements that I cherish: 1) Winner of Blitzkrieg quiz completion Pantnagar finale for last two years and finishing among the top four teams in the international finals 2) 3) 4) Award of FIITJEE talent support scholarship Finalist of Boston science quiz. Getting selected in IIT JEE in my first attempt.

5) Selection as the secretary of an important student body (Program Management Section) at IIT Roorkee. 6) Finishing tenth among more than two hundred students in a gruelling 36kms cycle race.

7) Being a part of the team which scaled a 13000ft. high mountain peak after five days of tough trekking in a record time (tata motors record) 8) Finishing second in the annual Foosball competition in my first year at IIT Roorkee

Academic achievements: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) Qualifying IIT-JEE, AIEEE and BITSAT in year 2007 Securing the highest percentage in my school in class twelfth Developing an innovative energy saving system for street lights. Developing a FEM model to analyze landslides in a densely populated area of Haridwar. Developing a comprehensive GIS database in a team of 60 people for city of roorkee. Paper presentation and publication in annual journal of cognizance, IIT Roorkee.

Among the top two percentile in IIT JEE and achieving 99.60 percentile in GATE 2011 I have played football for my school and reached finals of institute Foosball tournament. I also play table tennis, badminton and billiards.

I was designer for students' club at IIT Roorkee. I have also painted more than a dozen huge(10 meters X 3 meters) wallpapers at college. I also have quite good adobe photoshop skills.

I was the member of Program management section(IIT Roorkee) from 2007 to 2011. I was the joint secretary of the section for 2009-10 and secretary for 2010-11. Program management section

organized all the cultural events of the institution. We have also organized a live show of Mr. Shekhar Suman's "Movers and shakers" in year 2010.

Professional career has been throwing a new challenge at my face, constantly. I am at a place where you won't expect a civil engineer to be at. For first three months at Tata motors, I have worked on production lines, improving vehicle performance and reducing defects. For the next three months I sold Tata vehicles in interiors of Maharastra. Selling vehicle in linguistically alien territory. Next three months I worked with sheet metal vendor. And now I am trying to set up a tata sumo assembly line. The situations have been tough but the conditioning I have received made me a tough rider.

My family has ensured complete freedom for me. I have not faced anything tough enough to remember.

Academically I have shoulder responsibility while working on academic projects. I have also shouldered huge responsibilities while working for cultural council (IIT Roorkee). Organizing a single event for an audience of more than ten thousand is a big challenge and I have organized more than a dozen such events. In my professional career I have worked in cost reduction projects, where as a team we devised processes to achieve a saving in tunes of five crore indian rupees.
