Marco, I wanted to touch base with you and keep you updated on our collaborations and activities at UCLA. This weekend, 8 of our students competed and did very well at the Bruin MUN. Attached are a few photos and a short write up on our participation. I hope that your organization is still available to offer our students the UCLA bags/folders that were discussed. Let me know if we can still provide our students items to celebrate their achievements and our ongoing collaboration. I will place a call to you later today to follow up on the additional information you requested. Respectfully, Juan Ochoa
Hola Marco, I spoke to Marcos Aguilar, our executive director about your visit to our high school campus (4736 Huntington Drive North, La CA 90032) this Friday at 12 noon to present the ucla items to our MUN students. I wanted to ask if you would be able to bring the additional 2 ucla banners to unveil it. We will be setting up a short student assembly to recognize our partnership, our students, plus recognize a large donation that was given to our school this week of indigenous instruments. Let me know if this is possible, Juan Ochoa Development Coordinator Semillas Community Schools On Wed, Nov 16, 2011 at 10:25 AM, Juan Ochoa <jochoa@dignidad.org> wrote: Marco, I wanted to touch base with you and keep you updated on our collaborations and activities at UCLA. From: Perez, Marco Sent: Thursday, May 17, 2012 3:30 PM To: Pimentel, Rosa Subject: items for UCLA admitted students Importance: High
Hi Rosa, Per our conversation, I will be attending the Adelante Awards Ceremony, hosted by Councilmember Jose Huizar, this coming Sunday, May 20. The event honors and recognizes over 80 top achieving students in Council District 14. Among the students, six have been admitted to UCLA in the fall. Below are the names and schools. During the program, we will be recognizing these students publically and would like to provide them with some UCLA items. I am putting some bags together and was wondering if you have any pennants, pens, or any other items.
