2. If the installer file has unpacked properly the Setup Wizard screen is displayed. If any warning messages are received, click Run to ignore. 3. If ioGAS is already installed on the computer the following dialog is displayed first of all. If you are upgrading from your previous version of ioGAS then it is fine to select the Yes, update the existing installation option.

Read and accept the Licence Agreement and click Next to continue.

Enter the desired installation directory (or leave as the default shown below). If there is a previous version installed to the default directory the folder will already exist. Click Next to continue.

Select the Start Menu Folder name (default is shown below). The options to Create shortcuts for all users can also be selected in this window. Click Next to continue.

The Select File Associations window enables the software to open when an ioGAS generated file is double-clicked in Windows Explorer. Click Next to continue.

To create an ioGAS desktop icon, check the box in the Select Additional Tasks window. Click Next to continue.

Start ioGAS
To start the ioGAS program either select Start>Program Files>ioAnalytics>ioGAS or double-click on the ioGAS desktop icon created during the installation process.
Licensing
When ioGAS is installed onto a machine for the first time the software will run for two weeks with full functionality. After this period the software can only be run if a valid licence file is available. For ioGAS purchasing information please contact iogas@ioglobal.net Single-Seat Licence A single-seat licence is locked to a computer. If you have purchased a single-seat licence then you will need to provide us with the Machine ID number in order to obtain a valid licence file. The Machine ID number is found in the Help>Send Machine ID menu option within the ioGAS program. Send the Machine ID number to ioGAS.Licence@ioAnalytics.net.
If you have already received a valid single-seat licence file please copy it to the C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\ioGAS folder and re-start ioGAS. (NB. change 'Username' to your login) *NOTE: If this folder path cannot be seen in Windows Explorer go to the Organise> Folder and Search Options menu option. In the View tab under Hidden files and folders make sure that Show hidden files, folders, and drives is selected. Server Licence
If you are connecting to a multi-user server licence go to the Help>Server Licence Configuration menu option. In the dialog check the Connect to Licence Server box. Enter the server Host name or IP address and click OK. Re-start ioGAS for the server licence details to take effect. Please contact your IT person for server host details.
Getting Started
For information on the available features in ioGAS please view the Overview training video on the ioGAS webpage: www.iogas.net The easiest way to get started with ioGAS is to refer to the videos located under the Help>Training Videos menu option especially the ones under the Getting Started section. The training videos are available for maintained users only. For a step-by-step guide to getting started with ioGAS please
refer to the Help File documentation (Help>Help menu option) and read through the Getting Started>Quick Start Tutorial section. A demo file is provided which should open automatically when ioGAS is first started. This file (demo.gas) is located in the C:\Program Files\ioAnalytics\ioGAS-64\demodata folder. Otherwise the demo file can be opened using the File>Open Demo Data menu option. An Excel version of this file is located in the same folder and is used in the Quick Start Tutorial.
