A Mutiny in America

I believe this statement, but do I believe it enough, "God will not allow the devil to stroll right in
and take our cities away from us". If I do believe it, I must be willing to submit to God’s
guidance. God has laid it out for us in the Bible. It is always the same, no matter what time or
place in the world. It is for all the chosen of God.

Of course, it has been worded so many different ways and spoken in so many different
situations and settings, I wonder if my heart is too hardened, my ears too death, and my sight
too blind to spiritually perceive and act.

Here is my version," If God's chosen born again believers will repent of their worldliness, their
compromising, and their sins against the Holy work of Christ which in turn is a sin against the
Father, then will the Father hear us and help our land. If we do this, the Devil will have to fight
for our cities". I wonder what scripture I have paraphrased.

Where are all the Heroes?

I am a little surprised there is no secular hero speaking out against the manipulating of our
Nation. Is there some kind of great force working overtime amongst the affairs of the Human
Race? If this is the case (I think so!), woe unto the simple men and women who think they are
controlling the destinies of cities, states, and nations. They are no match against this spiritual
force.

Satan perhaps tastes a victory coming his way and after all, it is his nature to destroy nations
from within. It seems the devil has some extra freedom against this nation America. Is he being
allowed to bring his wickedness full force against us? I think all born again Christians and even
the lost American can see this nation is being steered away from God. How can a nation want
to turn away from the God whom has kept us all these years? If this is happening, why should
God intervene on our behalf anymore?

Although I am surprised about the lack of a secular hero coming out and speaking up for our
nation, I am not surprised there is no Christian hero speaking up. For quite some time now, our
great Christian leaders whom stood against the wickedness in our nation have developed a
silent tongue, either because God has brought this about or because the enemy has weakened
them.

What good are the Media Prophets and Preachers who do not bring the message of repentance
and wrath to a nation tumbling into Hell? They love to hear their own voices and see their own
names in the forefront, because they are not preaching the Gospel, they are preaching the
message of the antichrist. They are against the Christ even though they appear to be
representatives of Christ.

They should have one message for us today. When someone is sick and dying, you do not
continue doing what is pleasing and safe for you and him or her. You do not give them the same

old medicine and tell them they are okay or will get better. If you do not prepare them for
death, then they are being misled and falsely treated.

Therefore, the void of a Christian hero in our cities and nation is being filled not by God’s
chosen, but by a tremendous stampede of goats eager to gain popularity and position in the
Christian circles. Now this is not just in America, this is worldwide. Our enemy was on the
outside of the camp, but now we are infiltrated with every stinking sissified, people pleasing,
self righteous, self seeking, unholy, tramp that can quote a scripture and build a modern
progressive franchised church.

I often wonder what will happen if these leaders and their followers are ever placed into a
situation of persecution and must give a testimony and choose between dying for Christ or
forsaking Christ, how will they handle it. Of course, I question my own position as well, but I do
not have great empires, worldly wealth, big new fancy luxurious meetinghouses, and
prestigious positions amongst the public. When you build up treasures on earth rather it be
secular or religious work, it is almost impossible to give it up, just ask Jesus!

The few honorable born again leaders left in our few born again local churches are fighting a
battle to keep the sheep from wandering over to the next charismatic super preacher at the
next mega-church.

It is with much distaste that God even allows them to appear associated with Him, for God’s
disdain for them is even far greater than His hate for those in Sodom and Gomorrah. To God
they are the scum of the earth who supposedly speak for and represent His kingdom on earth,
but are no different than those He has dealt with since the birth of the Catholic Church.

God forgive us for letting the wolfs come in sheep's clothing after the manner of the Catholic
Leaders, being just as deceptive in lying and conniving. They mislead the sheep astray and lead
them to the devil's hell without any remorse or willingness to repent and turn from their
wicked ways. Please remove them from Your sight and from our midst. We do not ask mercy on
them but we ask they be recompensed for their false and destructive ways.

So What is Up?

There is something happening in the world and many of us know it. Our spirit seems to not be
able to get united with our flesh long enough to put the flesh in subjection and reckon
ourselves with our God to get a grasp of this situation.

Look, it does not matter who you are, where you have been, what you have done, how you
have done it, or when you did it. We must get this through our thick heads,

Our works do not build up treasures on earth; no matter how blessed we have been by God!
Yet are not most of us Christians tangled up with the affairs of this world and living in a stupor.
Just maybe some of this could be part of the reason our Christian heroes are silenced. They too
are caught up into this same stupor and they are also attacked from every side as the devil

looks for a kink in their armor. Here is how it goes with them (I know the preacher and the
servants of God, they are still human, do not let them fool you):
They have stood by the stuff, held their ground, and fought the good fight. This is Truth
and okay to make the claim.
They still believe they are doing what has been working for them and God has been
blessing them for it. This is also truth.
Then the flesh joins in on this and turns it away from the spiritual. They feel safe and
they enjoy the comfortable life.
They have families, bills, a home, and a position
In addition, they have paid their dues and earned the easy life for all the sacrifices they
have made.

Now this is under the disguise of Christian leadership over a few or many. This is during the
building of a small ministry or a large ministry. During building programs, teaching seminars,
family help seminars, and revivals. All outward appearances seemingly showing proof of being
used by God. All the while most of their success is coming from their own abilities. Some are
good at a few or all of the following, building, growing, leading, speaking, or teaching. However,
God is not a respecter of persons. The point of Jesus teaching the parable of the laborers was to
get this point across to the human race. Look at Matthew 20:1-16 and see a very humbling
picture of our relationship with God.

So, if you are a follower or leader in Christ and have been using your human reasoning to justify
yourself during this tearing down of your blessed nation, Jesus disagrees with you, well here let
us see,

Luke 17:10, So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded
you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Dear Christian, it is time to take your eyes off your blessings and look at this crazy world
through the Lord's eyes. Here in America, we are losing ground to the devil. If the born again
Christian, teenager or adult, just sits back and continues doing the same old works and we stay
hidden in our safe zones, eventually this Nation will dissolve around us. Then the only Christian
works we can do will be that of keeping our faith in the midst of death and destruction.

Please be warned, many in this world hate Americans. This includes many in our own country. If
there is any indication of God removing His hand from our country such as there is today, then
take heed, there is persecution coming first to the Christians and the Jews, then any American
that stands up for the Christians or Jews. If we do not awaken to this, if we do not listen to
God’s Spirit on this, then we will not be heard by God when it comes upon us and we then cry
out to God.

We have no friend in the unbeliever. We are not liked or respected as the lying media would
have us think. We cannot trust in what we see or what we hear unless the Lord be in it and if
God removes His protecting hand from this Nation, what then my dear brother and sister in
Christ?

How easy is it going to be for the Antichrist to prepare the way for the devil? Does it look like
much of a problem, no. Instead, it looks like the work of the Antichrist is easily preparing the
way for satan and His eventual unholy act of proclaiming the title of god. Confusion is rampant
and chaos is right behind. This has not been by chance or mistake. Since the days of the Garden
of Eden, the devil has sought to destroy the creation which God loves the most, the human
being.

Many generations have passed since the first two humans. But it was not until the birth, death,
and resurrection of Jesus Christ that the possibility of being forever in the presence of God was
offered to all races and no matter what would take place on earth, Jesus would always be the
only way to God.

However, the devil knows the human being is very easily deceived (even the first human
creations, Adam and Eve, fell to his temptations) because God has given us so much freedom to
choose for ourselves. Hence, our day and age of global media has become a major tool of the
devil in his quest for our souls.

Is the Secular Media a friend to the True Christian?

What I give you next is an example of the confusion spreading in our Nation and the World. This
is just one of the many deceptions the born again Christian leaders should be exposing
publically and with no thought as to the repercussions that may come from taking this kind of
stand against this most hellish trickery.

Glenn Beck has risen to the rank and title of being one of the most influential conservative talk
show and TV personalities today in America. He supposedly is championing the cause of
Freedom of Religion, Americanism, and the Plight of the Believer in God. These are very worthy
positions in the Judeo/ Christian society that still exists in America.

I followed him for a while, overlooking his cultic membership with the Mormons. However,
when we were in danger of having a Mormon president, God shocked me into reality. There is
no good thing that can come from yoking our true relationship in Christ with those who follow
false doctrine and false leaders. If you say, just who can we follow if we have no voice, then you
desperately need to review that question. Jesus never promised we would have a voice
concerned for our best interests. Instead, we should be looking for that next Stephen, Paul, or
even another Luther.

Here is a sample of the dangerous words coming out of Glenn Beck's mouth. I underlined the
critical catchphrases just to point out his conversation is not as innocent and sincere as it
appears.

BECK: So, let me ask you this question, and, I think, this is the — this is the main point here that I'm
trying to get to. I believe, just as we are, men of different faith, we need to come together and people that
believe in God need to put their differences aside and stand up and start saying, you know what? I'm not
ashamed that I'm a religious person. I'm not ashamed that I go to synagogue on Saturday or I go to
church on Sunday. It's OK.

And if you don't like my principles, that's OK, too. You have a right to answer to God in your way, and I'll
answer to God in my way, as long as we're not hurting one another. But we've got to stop feasting on

Was it not Religious people that crucified Jesus Christ, Matthew 20:17-19, And Jesus going up
to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, Behold, we go up
to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes,
and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to
scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

What did Jesus say regarding this different faith argument, John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I
am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

And what does it mean to believe in God. Isn't this the same lying spirit Jesus had to deal
with, John 8:41, Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of
fornication; we have one Father, even God. John 8:47, He that is of God heareth God's words:
ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Are Works Working?

You ask any Christian right now who lives in a Muslim or communist nation, "do they now live in
the midst of death and destruction?” They will tell you yes, it is real today, and it is coming your
way. We must awaken to the truth; we are not immune from the justice of God. Yet the
Christians whom taste the torments of suffering for Christ know that it is Faith in Christ and not
Faith in their works that sustains them and gives them strength. Just what are we in America
trusting in? Where is our Faith, in Christ or in our works for Christ?

In Matthew 19 Peter had just heard from the Lord how hard it was to get into the Kingdom of
Heaven. So he ask the Lord this question, Matthew 19:27, "Then answered Peter and said unto
him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore"?

What is in it for us Lord? If we keep it up, will we be saved because we have been doing what
you said to do? Again, I put the parable of the Laborers before you in Matthew 20:1-16.

o God does not owe us anything, we owe Him everything.

o Do not think throwing our works in God's face will persuade Him one way or another

This is why it is so important to discern our current practices and attitudes as Christians today,
especially in the free nations, especially in America. Are we trying to offer up to God our past
works as a remedy for our current spiritual weaknesses, and that is putting it in nice words. The
real words should be are we trying to bribe God with works and yet at the same time, profess
to trust and follow by faith.

We sing this song in many of the local churches,

Do we sing it in truth or because it makes us feel good? Are we patting our self on the back and
looking at what we are doing as some great achievement worthy of establishing our own little
kingdoms on earth? Are we guilty of saying, "what about us God, what is in it for us since we
did or are doing this for You? I am singing this in public and I really mean it for now, at least
when I am singing here in front of the others.

This song and every other God inspired song and every inspired word of God in the Bible will
never be alive in us until we give up our works theology and cleanse our spirit man with the
sacrificial blood of the lamb. We must die to self, period, and that is not so easy to do. It is easy
to sing it and proclaim it and speak it, but to do it literally is almost impossible.

This alone is proof that just because we claim to believe in God and act like Christians, does
mean we are God's children!

Being really born again should cause us to submit to the Holy Spirit. This in turn will awaken us
to this stupor of living by our works and acting as if we can live for Christ by our own ways. We
must always remember we are grace born children, and only by grace can we consider
ourselves Christian.

So where is the remnant of True Believers in America?

Eventually the born again Christian is going to start showing traits of their Lord and Savior and
start acting like Him. It has to happen, the Spirit of Christ is too amazing and overpowering,
even the angels cannot understand the fullness of Christ.

Ephesians 3:17-21, That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and
grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length,
and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might
be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in
the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

As a redeemed follower of Christ, we will show these Christ attributes, we will start acting like
Christ:

o Acting like that person whom could not stand hypocrites, false teachers, and false
confessors,
o Acting like nothing matters but the accomplishing of the Fathers will,
o Acting like all life depends on death, burial, and resurrection.

We will become as Christ because we have taken up the cross and followed Jesus! The born
again Christian in America will again love Christ above everything and will worship God as we
should.

This is going to happen. The catalyst comes from the fires burning in our hearts and because of
the ones who have been praying, the ones who are praying, and the ones who are going to start
praying, for the reviving of God's children and the renewing of their first love. We cannot hide
the light; the fire is too hot and too bright,

Luke 11:33-36, No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither
under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light. The light of the
body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when
thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in
thee be not darkness. If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the
whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

A Mutiny in America!

However, we must have a look at what appears to have put out the light and is keeping this
light stifled in America while America is being dismembered. All the lies and deceptions of
today can be traced back in history to certain actions that influenced wrong decisions in
America. It is here we find the common elements linking to the current full-fledged mutiny
happening right under our noses in this country. The lies of 2009 such as those coming out of
our president's mouth about us not being a Christian nation are nothing new. What we are
hearing and seeing today is the culmination of a well-orchestrated effort to turn America away
from God.

Now I am not saying we are a nation full of Christians, I am saying we are a nation with
Judeo\Christian values and principles. The majority of Americans in this country still have some
kind of view toward the God of the Bible and the Father of Jesus. I know this does not make us

a Christian nation like we consider a nation to be Muslim or Hindu but even the majority of the
world looks at us as a Christian nation.

Therefore, the president (and others) can make destructive statements and with no conscience
and feel justified in the tearing down of our Christian heritage. They know there is no such thing
as a true Christian nation because they are of their father the devil. The devil knows the Son of
God is coming to set up His Kingdom and then there shall be a true Christian Kingdom at that
time. Therefore, the devil uses human beings to try to thwart any resemblance of an
established Christian influence over a nation.

With certain events purposefully carried out by Satan's minions, they have succeeded in
bringing this nation to the brink of no return. The main emphasis pushed by this crowd of hell-
bound idiots has been socialism. The ideology of the early Socialists centered on the thought of
equal distribution of goods, property, and labor by a government that plans and controls the
economy and the welfare of the people.

The new modern Socialism is the inbreeding of Global Socialism

another to see who can get there first. The acceptance of every possible godless thought and

Only this time the world thinks the human race has the ability to set up utopia on earth and
there is no need to reach Heaven because we can make our own Heaven, produce it, live it, and
keep it without God. This is the new Socialism (of course, in reality, it is as old as Satan) and the
engine moving it is the Spirit of the Antichrist.

We are the generations seeing the final Book of the Bible opened and we are the human
subjects placed in the midst of the Holy Spirit's motion factor. We could very well be seeing the
downfall of the human race as we know it because all who buy into this false socialist
propaganda are led away from the truth and into the lies of Satan.

Many people would argue with me that America is already practicing socialism and they could
list, Social Security, Public Education, Welfare, and Government subsidies to Business as just
some of the current socialistic programs ( http://www.fff.org/freedom/0990a.asp). Could this be
why the New Socialism is moving at such a fast pace today in America?

Remember, on the outside socialism appears right in line with the teachings of Christ. Take care
of others, help others, share what you have, live in peace and harmony with each other, and
obey those in rule over you. But under this cloak is the one goal Satan has had throughout the
ages, turn people away from God and lead them into the eternal damnation he is facing and
they are facing without Christ as their Savior.

It is important that we look at perhaps the most effective event the socialist accomplished in
America, the development of our godless public educational system. This Public education is

administered by the government and is taken out of the hands of the public? Does it seem
ironic the education of the nation’s children should be taken out of the hands of private
individuals and groups and called public education.

When this took hold and spread across the nation, the agenda of the socialists became evident
yet we just sit back and let them have control of the minds of our youth. At the beginning, they
could not turn those early generations away from their God fearing mindset and they could not
do much with the next few generations. However, they knew eventually they could chip away
the acceptance of God and the bible, and one day they would have enough influence to turn
this nation away from God.

Today we are seeing the fruit of their labor. The last four or five generations have filled political,
educational, media, and even religious positions in our nation. Their socialistic philosophies of
which they have been brainwashed by their education, is swallowing up the freedoms and
rights the American has enjoyed under the blessings of a Holy God.

Every facet of our life has been attacked, in public media, in entertainment, in local as well as
national politics, and of course our education. The educational training of our past 3 or 4
generations has produced ripe minds and spirits for the push by the media and government to
intervene and establish a godless society in America. The lingering of past generations that still
hold to the freedoms and rights given to us by our creator are becoming less of a voice and
made to appear as more of the problem than the answer for our needs today.

America will you survive?

Many today are preaching no revival, no restoration, no outpouring of God's Spirit, and no
great harvest of souls. They perhaps seem warranted in this stance due to the many false
teachers and false doctrines, including the humanistic teachings of prosperity and kingdom
now.

If there is no hope for an awakening in America, if we are in the time of the great falling away
and soon revealing of the antichrist, then why are these people not preaching warnings and
preparation instead of preaching their same old messages? Why are they acting like all is well
and life goes on as always, like nothing has changed and our conditions are still the same in
America.

It is confusing and that should cause us to see the dire need of prayer. I do not know if what is
happening today is the falling away in the last days. There sure seems to be some kind of
decaying and breaking down of our Judeo/Christian structured society in America (and I am not
saying because America is falling, Christ is returning when that happens). There is just too much
taking away of freedoms or giving up of rights going on in America and one does not have to be
a believer to see this.

What should we be concerned about?

Is there a Falling Away going on today? Who is Falling Away and what are they Falling Away
from? Why have we let our spiritual discernment about the last days rest so much by the
quoting of one scripture, this does not make any sense? It is dangerous to base exegetical
conclusions solely on one verse of scripture.

I am talking about this scripture;

2Thessalonians 2:3, Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except
there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Biblical exegesis is a critical explanation or interpretation of the Bible. The goal of Biblical
exegesis is to find the meaning of the text which then leads to discovering its significance or
relevance.

I do not see today in America the elect, also known as the chosen, also known as the saved
falling away. Instead, I see the real born again Christians in America starting to show a new
hunger for the plain old truth without the sensationalism and compromising so prevalent in the
modern day church meetings. The question, will it be in time to rescue America?

Yes, I know this appears dimly for now, but remember the light we talked about earlier. Thank
God there is a glimmer of light growing and soon this light will shine, because no human or
angel can keep the light of Christ from shining on mankind,

John 9:5, As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

That is why Jesus came and that is why He died, to set men free and to reveal the Father to us
through Him so that we can reveal the Christ to a lost world through us.

Luke10:22, All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is,
but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

Galatians 2:20, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:
and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and
gave himself for me.

Are you able to sit back and continue living as though you are not seeing your world is changing
and your country is turning away from trusting in God? Do you believe that your Christ is all
about building big ministries and producing successful and materialistically blessed worshippers
and preachers? Are you just kind of flowing with the times and putting it all off on God, you
know, the great cop out words that we use when we do not want to deal with it, " oh well, God
is in charge and His will be done"? If you fit into this spiritual mindset, then you might want to
double check your salvation.

I do not know so much if this is a falling away, but there is a majority within the so-called
Christian ranks that are in danger of hellfire and eternal punishment. It does not matter if we
think they are brothers and sisters in Christ, our acceptance does not grant them a part of the
kingdom of Heaven.

It is all so warm and self-satisfying to cozy up to anyone who claims to be a Christian, even if we
know they are not following the correct doctrine regarding Salvation. There is only one correct
doctrine:

Hebrews 9:11,12, But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater
and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither
by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place,
having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Hebrews 9:22, And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding
of blood is no remission.

It is the blood of Christ one must apply to their sins and this is no small thing to do. When the
disciples ask Christ who then can be saved, Christ answered,

Luke 18:27, And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

It is not possible for us to go our own way or create our own way to partake in the gift of
Salvation. Look at the following examples and if I am wrong, then I will answer to God for my
false words. If I am right, then God help us to pray for them and keep us from being in their
ranks.

 I go to Church! There is a church goer who appears to be saved. They have convinced
themselves and confessed to a church body they are saved and have trusted in their
works to keep them saved. They go to Church sometimes or all the time. They may Sing in
the Choir, Teach Sunday School, Help in Administration, and even Preach. They are the
majority of people going around today being accepted as the Christians in America.

I am a good Person! There is the American who looks at themselves as being a good
person. They accept the Christian Bible, they accept the Judeo\Christian influences, and
they even accept the story of the Christ. But sadly, they trust first in their own abilities and
their own ways and they put a man made government before God to provide freedom
and protection. They only look to God for moral and spiritual needs when confronted with
something they cannot control. Jesus Christ is too stringent and straight for them so they
choose to deny Christ publically by their lifestyle and verbal profession.

I am a Member! Finally, there is another goer. They have trusted in membership as their
doorway to Heaven. But this membership is not in membership of the body of Christ, it is
membership in an organized form of man instituted laws and doctrines that elevates the
organization above the Holy Spirit and places it as the final authority to truth and
salvation.

Therefore let us determine to not be one of the above. I think that those just mentioned are a
by- product of the born again Christian taking their eyes off of Christ and letting the world get
control of our ecclesia. When we put more emphasis on manmade ministries, popular book
authors, worldly influenced music methods, socialistic missions, and organized rules and
regulations involving the correct methods of being a church instead of scripturally conclusive
teachings by the Savior, then we have confusion.

My conclusions!

Now bear with me on the next few paragraphs. This is not so much a doctrinal position, but an
experiential explanation from observing the Christian and the Secular mixing together in our
times. Of course Scriptural guidance is foremost in my deductions so that too is included.

It seems that the falling away is most likely the same action the human being has been guilty of
doing throughout the beginning of the creation of the human race. Turning away from God and
going after other gods, making God second place in our life.

The basic outright unbeliever who has never professed to be a Christian cannot fall away
because they have never found the truth. The born again cannot fall away because it is Jesus
who keeps us and as far as I can tell by the word of God, He has not lost anyone who was a true
believer. It must be the false believer who falls away. This would appear to the world as the
weakness of Christ and the downfall of Christianity when in fact, it is the purging of the body
and the preparing of the bride.

Yet, it is the born again Christian who God looks at and expects to live as Christ did. When we
get mixed up with the unbelievers and the false believers, we take on their traits and grieve the

Holy Spirit, thus weakening our spiritual walk. This is why the devil is progressing so strong on
all fronts throughout the world. This is why it appears most all the Christians are falling away.

The real Christian when falling away is not losing their salvation. They are not even on the same
road as the false believer. What is happening or has happened with the real Christian is we are
not in love anymore with our Christ, our first love. If we appear to have fallen away it is because
we are putting our love and trust in line with the false believers who are trusting in their own
ways of salvation, thus putting false hopes and others above Christ. And we know better, we
know what the Lord wants of us. We know when we need to stop dancing and singing and turn
to mourning and pleading. We know the wrath of God is tied into the justice of God. We know
that we are the ones God has chosen to spread the truth and to show the world the Glory of
God.

God please help us during this reckoning You are bringing to this Land. It is not an exposed
physical army marching toward our shores, yet we are still being invaded and threatened. Our
very foundation as, "One Nation Under God", is crumbling around us and we are not praying
with the trust, faith, and hope that stops the enemy and revives our spirits.

God help us to pray like our forefathers prayed and let the Glory of God be revealed!

How did prayer stop the French invasion of America of

1746?

It was early autumn 1746 in Boston Massachusetts. John Adams who was later destined to be
the first Vice President of the United States and the second President of the United States was
only a boy of around 10. The entire community was in turmoil. Governor Shirley had even
proclaimed a Fast Day to pray for deliverance from the peril at hand. 6,000 troops,
Massachusetts men all, some veterans of the earlier French War with their old outdated
weapons, some young men in hunting shirts with their own muskets, had gathered at Boston
Common in preparation of the upcoming attack.

The great warrior-admiral D'Anvilles and his fleet of square-rigged ships bristling with guns was
rapidly approaching by way of the Atlantic Ocean. This fleet was massive, a hundred transports
jammed with troops and forty ships of war belonging to Louis XV of France. There must have
been at least 10,000 soldiers on board those ships. D'Anville's orders where to burn Boston to
her foundations.

The fleet was at their doorstep. In Boston, reverend Thomas Prince, from the pulpit of the Old
South Meeting-house prayed before his congregation. The morning was clear and calm. People
had walked to church through sunshine. "Deliver us from our enemy!" the minister implored.
"Send thy tempest, Lord, upon the waters to the eastward! Raise Thy right hand. Scatter the
ship of our tormentors and drive them hence. Sink their proud frigates beneath the power of
Thy winds!" He had scarcely pronounced the words when the sun was gone and the morning
darkened. All the church was in shadow. A wind shrieked so hard that the great church bell

struck twice. Thomas Prince paused in his prayer, both arms raised. "We hear thy voice, O Lord!
We hear it! Thy breath is upon the waters of the eastward, even upon the deep, the bell tolls
for the death of our enemies!" He bowed his head; when he looked up, tears streamed down
his face. "Thine be the glory, Lord. Amen and amen!"

The French attack never came. A week later details were provided by other vessels entering
Boston from the northeastward. The French fleet was nearly lost. All who survived the sudden
storm suffered from a pestilential fever. The great Admiral Duc d'Anville was dead. The few
remaining ships, half manned, were limping off to the southward. There would be no French
invasion of America!

Pestilence, storm, and sudden death. Pharaoh's hosts overwhelmed in the Red Sea were no
greater miracle. A day of thanksgiving and prayer was proclaimed. "If God be for us, who can
be against us?"
