The improper use of backpacks can have seriously effects on the human body.Hauling a heavy backpack over one shoulder everydaymay cause serious postural misalignments which can trigger a condition called vertebral subluxation causes neck and backpain,headaches and ostreo-arthritis.Also,carrying a backpack alters the mobility of spinal bones can lead to restricted movement a risk factor for pain.
Body:

Knowing how to wear backpack essential in everyday life.A backpack should be sturdy and appropriately sized,have padded shoulder straps and have waiststraps.Padded shoulder straps avoid pressure on the nerves around the armpits and waiststraps help stabilize the load.According to Dr.Groah ,the acceptable weight to carry in a backpack is related to your weight.You should never carry more than 25lbs or 10-15% of your body weight. www.odec.ca Scientific research reveals an alarming danger w/ improper childhood backpack use there has been an increase in backpain from ages 11-16.By the end of their teen years,close to 60% of youths experience atleast one low-back pain episode.According to Dr.Molin ,A back pack that too large will sag towards the buttocks,stressing the childs lower back and shoulder. www.wiki-answer.com The compressive force of the weight of the back pack on the spine may, in combination with being seated in poorly designed school chairs and poor postural awareness in general cause vertevra to gradually shift out of healthy alignment.This can cause the spine to curve laterally and shift to hunch back position,which looks obvious and leads to muscle pain.
