Cost of primary distribution system : Rs.5,00,000 Interest, insurance, depreciation etc., : 5% Fuel cost : Rs.1250000 Operating cost : Rs. 500000 p.a. Plant maintenance cost: Final cost : Rs.25000 p.a. Variable cost : Rs.37000 p.a. Maximum demand : 10 MW Annual load factor : 50% 12 12

Calculate the cost of power generated per K.W. per year, the cost per kwhr, generated and the total cost of generation per kwhr. The transmission and distribution charges are to be included in generation
