Death of a Royal Statue Death took away a noble monarch Who, beyond Life, gave everything he had. To ease his peoples pain. What have you done my Happy Prince? Than shed your raiment of gold leaf by leaf Distributed through out the city By your friend the swallow? Why did your leaden heart break to two when the swallow died by your feet? How cruel was Fate! How slow was Death to come! He suffered as his people suffered, He died when he lost his only friend. But now he is in paradise. With seraphims, singing praises and hymns. Together with his friend the swallow forevermore.

Middle Tranquil silence embraced me And the cool night air kissed my cheeks I gaze into the open My eyes saw not but a black void My hands gripped the edge And I hoist myself up An echo of the noise resonates from below The rushing light invites me to plummet down. I stand between the border Of Everything and Nothing. Two voices call me. One beckoning back, one saying Move on. Should I go back or move forward Should I give it a chance? Should I jump, or not?
