James Heal manufacture and supply Test and Reference Materials of unrivalled quality, which are totally compliant with the relevant standards and specifications. We have been manufacturing Testing Instruments for more than 100 years and utilise the same accumulated technical expertise and uncompromising attention to detail in the development and production of Test Materials. Furthermore, we possess a unique understanding of the critical relationship between Instruments and Test Materials

and strive constantly to improve that interface. Test and Reference Materials are manufactured in a purpose-built Test Materials Centre, containing state-ofthe-art facilities for warping, weaving, inspection, cutting and sewing, as well as for physical, colour fastness and chemical testing. Two modern laboratories, working within a stringent and no compromise quality system, check systematically every batch of product. Quality and consistency are also assured by the

use of independent UKASaccredited Test Houses and by carrying out carefully selected performance tests. We have a zero tolerance to non-conformance and product is not released unless it is fully compliant. Certificates to demonstrate conformity of our Test and Reference Materials are available and without additional cost. Our range contains all the test and reference materials required for physical and colour fastness testing.

We recommend regular, planned maintenance for your instruments, to preserve their value and to maintain their accuracy and reliability. Attractive rates and priority treatment are accorded to contract clients.

COMMISSIONING SERVICE
If you feel that your personnel need training to get the best out of your new equipment, our installation engineers are able to provide basic training. More advanced training is available through our Technical Assistance Service.

CALIBRATION SERVICES
Our calibration services are based on ISO 17025. Many of our calibration procedures are accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service). UKAS Certificates of Calibration are recognised and accepted worldwide by accreditors and customers and are your guarantee of our competence and of the continuing accuracy of your instrumentation.
