K S Oils, an edible oil manufacturer has set up a 8.5 MW wind power project with an investment of Wind Power Equipments
Rs. 350 million. The wind power project is located at Arikhana and Suthri district of Gujarat and in Andhra Pradesh Wind Power

Andhra Pradesh to focus on
wind energy projects

InCap (Infrastructure Corporation of Andhra

Pradesh) is focussing to harness wind energy
in the state and plans to exploit wind energy
potential of 2000 MW. It has allotted Rs.60
million to stimulate growth in such projects and
also to facilitate to develop infrastructure
required for the project. The corporation has
signed agreements with IDFC and IFC on
‘success fee model’ meaning, the fee will be
paid to them only on execution of any project.
