CLEANING CEILING FANS
The hassle of cleaning ceiling fans can be made easier by using an
old, preferably king size, pillowcase. I spray a little Pledge inside the Office Hours:
case and slip it over the fan blade. While the blade is inside the case,
grip the back of the pillowcase and the blade and then slide the Mon. 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Tues.-Thurs. 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
pillowcase toward the end of the blade. All the dust is removed from the
top and bottom of the blade in one clean sweep. The best part is that all
the dust is enclosed inside the pillowcase rather than falling in your face!

You can do several fans with the same pillowcase.
When you are finished cleaning, take the pillowcase outside and turn Deadline for Advertising:

years of service on Thursday during the Silver Circle Banquet
held at the Bradford Club. Among the honorees was nurse

Bradford Regional Medical Center’s employees were
honored and recognized for their contributions and dedication
during the annual Service Awards Banquet at The Bradford
Club on Thursday. The banquet’s theme was “As One Person I
Cannot Change The World, But I Can Change The World For
One Person.” It was held during National Hospital Week,
which runs from May 10-16. Banquet co-host Dennis Geitner,
BRMC’s vice president of Human Resources, said, “This is an
opportunity to recognize our employees who have reached
service milestones and for their dedication and hard work in
providing quality care to the communities we serve.” He added,
“We’re celebrating our most valuable asset - BRMC
employees.” Other banquet co-hosts were Tina Hannahs,
director of revenue management, and Kerry Payne, supervisor
of coding in Health Information Management.

who have served our country and sacrificed for the freedoms

Eldred World War II Museum announces the following special
events that will be held on Memorial Day Weekend.
Saturday, May 23rd at 2pm, Mr. Steven Appleby will be
presenting a brief history of the 28th Infantry Division. Mr.
Appleby served in the United States Army for 20 years and the
National Guard for 6 years. Mr. Appleby’s military service and
study of World War II have given him a special appreciation for
the 28th Infantry Division.

will be interviewed. Dr. Hipps served on a floating medical unit
in the Pacific during World War II. Following the war, Dr.
