Change Lives

The Disability Action Hall, (also known as The Hall) helps people with disabilities to speak out about disability issues . Hall members tell their stories in public. By sharing our stories, we begin to change how the public thinks about disability. People learn from and help each other. We also share our work on social media & at festivals.

Come to The Hall to meet people! Come to The Hall to talk about how to solve big problems. Some of the topics we work and talk about are:
Disability pride and culture, Relationships & networking, Enough money to live, A home for all, and Getting good services and supports.

Disability Culture We try to understand disability. The Hall has films, speakers, art, drama and other fun ways to help us understand disability culture.

Friendships and relationships happen when people get together to talk about community change. We like to meet with other folks and share our ideas and stories.

The Hall likes to work with other groups to make change. We ask our allies for help and we try to help them in return .
