Curriculum - Clinical Rotations Program in USA

The goal of Clinical Rotations is to provide the students with the opportunity to apply the knowledge obtained during Basic Sciences to practical exposure, and to learn how to apply the principles of medicine to patient interactions.

The goal of Clinical Rotations is gaining of INDEPENDENCE. Becoming an independent and confident physician required you to combine the qualities of compassion and commitment with an expanding base of knowledge and expert clinical skills.

In pursuit of an MD degree, students must focus hard and learn to focus with independence in the care of patients. Students entering clinical rotations have demonstrated that they have made the commitment to becoming a competent physician, and it is during the clinical science portion of their training that they will learn to fine tune their skills.

Students will make decisions in regards to what final specialty appeals to them based on personal choices, values and experiences. However, regardless of the choice made by each student, the foundation that you build on will be developed during your clinical experiences. The transition from the classroom setting to the clinical arena can be challenging for students, due to the nature of learning to self-study and setting goals on your own. However, the guidelines that we set forth here can help to create a framework for expanding your knowledge and skill base.

The goal of Clinical Rotations is to provide the students with the opportunity to apply the knowledge obtained during Basic Sciences to practical exposure, and to learn how to apply the principles of medicine to patient interactions.
