Achieve, Salvation, Success

( , Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #133) (4) Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds! I wish not, in opposition to you, to do that which I forbid you to do. I only desire (your) betterment to the best of my power; and my success (in my task) can only come from Allah. In Him I trust, and unto Him I look. ( , Hud, Chapter #11, Verse #88) (7) For each (such person) there are (angels) in succession, before and behind him: They guard him by command of Allah. Allah does not change a people's lot unless they change what is in their hearts. But when (once) Allah willeth a people's punishment, there can be no turning it back, nor will they find, besides Him, any to protect. ( , Ar-Rad, Chapter #13, Verse #11) (8) There, the (only) protection comes from Allah, the True One. He is the Best to reward, and the Best to give success. It is not Al-Birr (piety, righteousness) that you enter the houses from the back but Al-Birr (is the quality of the one) who fears Allah. So enter houses through their proper doors, and fear Allah that you may be successful. ( , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #189) (4) Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful. ( , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #104) (5) O you who believe! Eat not Riba (usury) doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may besuccessful. ( , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #130) (6) Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing). Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allah, so that you may be successful. ( , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #200) (8) These are the limits (set by) Allah (or ordainments as regards laws of inheritance), and whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad ) will be admitted to Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), to abide therein, and that will be the great success. ( , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #13) (9) But if a bounty (victory and booty) comes to you from Allah, he would surely say - as if there had never been ties of affection between you and him - "Oh! I wish I had been with them; then I would have achieved a great success (a good share of booty)." ( , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #73) (10) Those (hypocrites) who wait and watch about you; if you gain a victory from Allah, they say: "Were we not with you?" But if the disbelievers gain a success, they say (to them): "Did we not gain mastery over you and did we not protect you from the believers?" Allah will judge between you (all) on the Day of Resurrection. And never will Allah grant to the disbelievers a way (to triumph) over the believers. ( , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #141) (11) O you who believe! Do your duty to Allah and fear Him. And seek the means of approach to Him, and strive hard in His Cause (as much as you can), so that you may be successful. ( , Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #35) (12) O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), and gambling, and Al-Ansab , and AlAzlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaitan's (Satan) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful. ( , Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #90) (13) Say (O Muhammad ) : "Not equal are Al-Khabith (all that is evil and bad as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons and foods) and At-Taiyyib (all that is good as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons, foods), even though the abundance of Al-Khabith may please you." So fear Allah , O men of understanding in order that you may be successful. ( , Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #100) (14) Allah will say: "This is a Day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise) - they shall abide therein forever. Allah is pleased with them and they with Him. That is the great success (Paradise). ( , Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #119) (15) He who is averted from (such a torment) on that Day, (Allah) has surely been Merciful to him. And that would be the obvious success. ( , Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #16) (16) And who does more aggression and wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons or revelations)? Verily, the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) shall never be successful. ( , Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #21) (17) And your Lord is Rich (Free of all needs), full of Mercy; if He wills, He can destroy you, and in your place make whom He wills as your successors, as He raised you from the seed of other people. Work according to your way, surely, I too am working (in my way), and you will come to know for which of us will be the (happy) end in the Hereafter. So as for those whose scale (of good deeds) will be heavy, they will be the successful (by entering Paradise). ( , Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #8) (20) "Do you wonder that there has come to you a Reminder (and an advice) from your Lord through a man from amongst you to warn you? And remember that He made you successors after the people of Nuh (Noah) and increased you amply in stature. So remember the graces (bestowed upon you) from Allah so that you may be successful." ( , Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #69) (21) And remember when He made you successors after 'Ad (people) and gave you habitations in the land, you build for yourselves palaces in plains, and carve out homes in the mountains. So remember the graces (bestowed upon you) from Allah, and do not go about making mischief on the earth." ( , Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #74) (22) Is it not clear to those who inherit the earth in succession from its (previous) possessors, that had We willed, We would have punished them for their sins. And We seal up their hearts so that they hear not? ( , Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #100) (23) They said: "We (Children of Israel) had suffered troubles before you came to us, and since you have come to us." He said: "It may be that your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you successors on the earth, so that He may see how you act?" ( , Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #129) (24) So We sent on them: the flood, the locusts, the lice, the frogs, and the blood (as a succession of) manifest signs, yet they remained arrogant, and they were of those people who were Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners). ( , Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #133) (25) Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write (i.e. Muhammad ) whom they find written with them in the Taurat (Torah) (Deut, xviii 15) and the Injeel (Gospel) (John xiv, 16) , - he commands them for Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained); and forbids them from Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism of all kinds, and all that Islam has forbidden); he allows them as lawful At-Tayyibat (i.e. all good and lawful as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons, foods), and prohibits them as unlawful Al-Khaba'ith (i.e. all evil and unlawful as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons and foods), he releases them from their heavy burdens (of Allah's Covenant with the children of Israel), and from the fetters (bindings) that were upon them. So those who believe in him (Muhammad ) , honour him, help him, and follow the light (the Qur'an) which has been sent down with him, it is they who will be successful . ( , Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #157) (26) (Remember) when you sought help of your Lord and He answered you (saying): "I will help you with a thousand of the angels each behind the other (following one another) in succession." ( , Al-Anfal, Chapter #8, Verse #9) (27) O you who believe! When you meet (an enemy) force, take a firm stand against them and remember the Name of Allah much (both with tongue and mind), so that you may be successful. ( , Al-Anfal, Chapter #8, Verse #45) (28) Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and emigrated and strove hard and fought in Allah's Cause with their wealth and their lives are far higher in degree with Allah. They are the successful. ( , At-Taubah, Chapter #9, Verse #20) (29) Allah has promised the believers - men and women, - Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of 'Adn (Eden Paradise). But the greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allah. That is the supreme success.

Page 6 of 13 ( , At-Taubah, Chapter #9, Verse #72) (30) But the Messenger (Muhammad ) and those who believed with him (in Islamic Monotheism) strove hard and fought with their wealth and their lives (in Allah's Cause). Such are they for whom are the good things, and it is they who will be successful. ( , At-Taubah, Chapter #9, Verse #88) (31) For them Allah has got ready Gardens (Paradise) under which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success. ( , At-Taubah, Chapter #9, Verse #89) (32) And the foremost to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun (those who migrated from Makkah to AlMadinah) and the Ansar (the citizens of Al-Madinah who helped and gave aid to the Muhajirun ) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success. ( , At-Taubah, Chapter #9, Verse #100) (33) Verily, Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties for (the price) that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allah's Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success. ( , At-Taubah, Chapter #9, Verse #111) (34) Then We made you successors after them, generations after generations in the land, that We might see how you would work. ( , Yunus, Chapter #10, Verse #14) (35) So who does more wrong than he who forges a lie against Allah or denies His Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)? Surely, the Mujrimun (criminals, sinners, disbelievers and polytheists) will never be successful! ( , Yunus, Chapter #10, Verse #17) (36) For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world (i.e. through a righteous dream seen by the person himself or shown to others), and in the Hereafter. No change can there be in the Words of Allah. This is indeed the supreme success. ( , Yunus, Chapter #10, Verse #64) (37) Say: "Verily, those who invent a lie against Allah will never be successful" ( , Yunus, Chapter #10, Verse #69) (38) Musa (Moses) said: "Say you (this) about the truth when it has come to you? Is this magic? But the magicians will never be successful." ( , Yunus, Chapter #10, Verse #77) (39) And she, in whose house he was, sought to seduce him (to do an evil act), and she closed the doors and said: "Come on, O you." He said: "I seek refuge in Allah (or Allah forbid)! Truly, he (your husband) is my master! He made my living in a great comfort! (So I will never betray him). Verily, the Zalimun (wrong and evil-doers) will never be successful." ( , Yusuf, Chapter #12, Verse #23) (40) For him (each person), there are angels in succession, before and behind him. They guard him by the Command of Allah. Verily! Allah will not change the (good) condition of a people as long as they do not change their state (of goodness) themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allah). But when Allah wills a people's punishment, there can be no turning back of it, and they will find besides Him no protector. ( , Ar-Rad, Chapter #13, Verse #11)

Page 7 of 13 (41) "For, if they come to know of you, they will stone you (to death or abuse and harm you) or turn you back to their religion; and in that case you will never be successful." ( , Al-Kahf, Chapter #18, Verse #20) (42) "So devise your plot, and then assemble in line. And whoever overcomes this day will be indeedsuccessful." ( , Taha, Chapter #20, Verse #64) (43) "And throw that which is in your right hand! It will swallow up that which they have made. That which they have made is only a magician's trick, and the magician will never be successful, to whatever amount (of skill) he may attain." ( , Taha, Chapter #20, Verse #69) (44) O you who have believed! Bow down, and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Lord and do good that you may be successful. ( , Al-Hajj, Chapter #22, Verse #77) (45) successful indeed are the believers. ( , Al-Mumenoon, Chapter #23, Verse #1) (46) Then We sent Our Messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation their Messenger, they denied him; so We made them follow one another (to destruction), and We made them as Ahadith (the true stories for mankind to learn a lesson from them). So away with a people who believe not! ( , Al-Mumenoon, Chapter #23, Verse #44) (47) Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, they are the successful. ( , Al-Mumenoon, Chapter #23, Verse #102) (48) Verily I have rewarded them this Day for their patience: they are indeed the ones that aresuccessful. ( , Al-Mumenoon, Chapter #23, Verse #111) (49) And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof; then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters) will not be successful. ( , Al-Mumenoon, Chapter #23, Verse #117) (50) And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron, etc.), and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers, or their sons, or their husband's sons, or their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of feminine sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful. ( , An-Noor, Chapter #24, Verse #31) (51) The only saying of the faithful believers, when they are called to Allah (His Words, the Qur'an) and His Messenger () , to judge between them, is that they say: "We hear and we obey." And such are the successful (who will live forever in Paradise). ( , An-Noor, Chapter #24, Verse #51) (52) And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger () , fears Allah, and keeps his duty (to Him), such are the successful. ( , An-Noor, Chapter #24, Verse #52) (53) Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before

And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). ( , An-Noor, Chapter #24, Verse #55) (54) And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. ( , Al-Furqan, Chapter #25, Verse #62) (55) Musa (Moses) said: "My Lord knows best him who came with guidance from Him, and whose will be the happy end in the Hereafter. Verily, the Zalimun (wrong-doers, polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) will not be successful." ( , Al-Qasas, Chapter #28, Verse #37) (56) But as for him who repented (from polytheism and sins), believed (in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messenger Muhammad ) , and did righteous deeds (in the life of this world), then he will be among those who are successful. ( , Al-Qasas, Chapter #28, Verse #67) (57) And those who had desired (for a position like) his position the day before, began to say: "Know you not that it is Allah Who enlarges the provision or restricts it to whomsoever He pleases of His slaves. Had it not been that Allah was Gracious to us, He could have caused the earth to swallow us up (also)! Know you not that the disbelievers will never be successful. ( , Al-Qasas, Chapter #28, Verse #82) (58) So give to the kindred his due, and to Al-Miskin (the poor) and to the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek Allah's Countenance; and it is they who will be successful. ( , Ar-Room, Chapter #30, Verse #38) (59) Such are on guidance from their Lord, and such are the successful. ( , Luqman, Chapter #31, Verse #5) (60) He it is Who has made you successors generations after generations in the earth, so whosoever disbelieves (in Islamic Monotheism) on him will be his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers adds nothing but hatred of their Lord. And the disbelief of the disbelievers adds nothing but loss. We have placed you as a successor on the earth; so judge you between men in truth (and justice) and follow not your desire - for it will mislead you from the Path of Allah. Verily, those who wander astray from the Path of Allah (shall) have a severe torment, because they forgot the Day of Reckoning. ( , Sad, Chapter #38, Verse #26) (63) And Allah will deliver those who are the Muttaqun (the pious - See V.2:2) to their places of success(Paradise). Evil shall touch them not, nor shall they grieve. ( , Az-Zumar, Chapter #39, Verse #61) (64) "And save them from (the punishment, for what they did of) the sins, and whomsoever You save from (the punishment for what he did of) the sins (i.e. pardon him) that Day, him verily, You have taken into mercy." And that is the supreme success. ( , Ghafir, Chapter #40, Verse #9) (65) And as for Thamud, We showed and made clear to them the Path of Truth (Islamic Monotheism) through Our Messenger, (i.e. showed them the way of success), but they preferred blindness to guidance; so the Sa'iqah (a destructive awful cry, torment, hit, a thunderbolt) of disgracing torment seized them because of what they used to earn.

( , Ad-Dukhan, Chapter #44, Verse #57) (67) Then, as for those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and did righteous good deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy. That will be the evident success. ( , Al-Jathiya, Chapter #45, Verse #30) (68) That He may admit the believing men and the believing women to Gardens under which rivers flow (i.e. Paradise), to abide therein forever, and He may expiate from them their sins; and that is with Allah a supreme success, ( , Al-Fath, Chapter #48, Verse #5) (69) On the Day you shall see the believing men and the believing women: their light running forward before them and by their right hands. Glad tidings for you this Day! Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever! Truly, this is the great success! ( , Al-Hadid, Chapter #57, Verse #12) (70) And he who finds not (the money for freeing a slave) must fast two successive months before they both touch each other. And he who is unable to do so, should feed sixty Miskins (poor). That is in order that you may have perfect Faith in Allah and His Messenger. These are the limits set by Allah. And for disbelievers, there is a painful torment. ( , Al-Mujadila, Chapter #58, Verse #4) (71) You (O Muhammad ) will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad ) , even though they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred (people). For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with Ruh (proofs, light and true guidance) from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens (Paradise) under which rivers flow to dwell therein (forever). Allah is pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Verily, it is the Party of Allah that will be the successful. ( , Al-Mujadila, Chapter #58, Verse #22) (72) And (it is also for) those who, before them, had homes (in Al-Madinah) and had adopted the Faith, love those who emigrate to them, and have no jealousy in their breasts for that which they have been given (from the booty of Banu An-Nadir), and give them (emigrants) preference over themselves even though they were in need of that. And whosoever is saved from his own covetousness, such are they who will be the successful. ( , Al-Hashr, Chapter #59, Verse #9) (73) Not equal are the dwellers of the Fire and the dwellers of the Paradise. It is the dwellers of Paradise that will be successful. And whosoever believes in Allah and performs righteous good deeds, He will expiate from him his sins, and will admit him to Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) to dwell therein forever; that will be the great success. And whosoever is saved from his own covetousness, then they are thesuccessful ones. And those saved from the covetousness of their own souls,- they are the ones that achieve prosperity.
