Activities/Techniques The teacher prepares the class for the new lesson, and checks out if there is anybody missing Warm-up The teacher checks if Ss. had any problems resolving the homework assignment. Then the teacher presents the topic of the lesson: talking about fairytales, composing an imaginary tale, describing a character from a story or fairytale Lead The teacher asks the in/picture Ss. to open their discussion books at page 16 and to describe the images presented in the textbooks. Questions like Do you know who Merlin is? Have you read any of the stories there? Can you make up sentences about the main hero/heroine in each story? are written on the blackboard. Comprehension Ss. are asked to activity answer (giving details) the questions written on the blackboard.

Vocabulary
The teacher writes on Note-taking the blackboard the meaning of the words or expressions Ss. dont know. Teacher invites the Ss. to watch part of a cartoon after the CINDERELLA story. The video is used to give Ss. the possibility to have not only a mental but also a visual description of the physical appearance of the main heroine. Ss. are asked to describe Cinderella, using the images they saw and using what they know about her from the story. Ss. are asked to describe their favourite fairytale character using as an example the description of Cinderella. Listening watching
