Levelland, Tex. and Overland Park, Kan. (April 23, 2013) - Titan Transloading, LLC, a leading operator of frac sand and crude transloading facilities, and Lansing Trade Group LLC, a leading independent commodity merchandising company, entered into a 50/50 joint venture known as Titan Lansing Transloading, LLC (TLT). This joint venture combines Titans experience in transloading frac sand and crude oil with Lansings marketing and capital strengths to support demand for transloading in the Permian Basin of West Texas. It developed in part as a result of long-standing relationships between Lansing and Titan founders Shannon Himango and Jack Richards through the parties respective tenures in the grain and energy industries. Currently, TLT operates two transload operations located in Lubbock and Levelland, Texas, where it primarily stores and transloads frac sand and transloads crude oil. In the coming months, TLT plans to expand its facility footprint in the Permian Basin of West Texas to support ongoing growth in this sector.
