PROGRAMME TITLE:

Librarianship in an IB World School

Target Audience: Library and Media Resource / Information Services Staff of Fairview Schools (M) Bhd.

AIM: Enhance the professional skills of the Library and Media Resource Teachers and equipped them to effectively respond to the needs of their respective students and teachers. This programme is design in order to provide Library and Media Centre manpower that are able to support the implementation of IB Programmes. Share experiences and acquire various strategies, practices and new trends from other campus libraries. Create a well-defined common standard and system protocol. Update technology skills in Library and Information Services. Develop a well-rounded schematic collection Blue-Print. Acquire basic strategies in developing and conducting an effective Library and Information Literacy Programme. Familiarize key areas and develop technical skills to support Inquiry in various IB Programmes.
