By Order 95-5-1, served May 1, 1995, the Department granted Village the authority to engage in interstate scheduled air transportation. However, that authority limited Village to operations using aircraft having no more than 30 passenger seats or a 7,500 pound payload, and to operations within the State of Alaska. 2 By letter dated April 2, 2004, we notified Village of our intent to defer the registration of the Safari Pacific Airways trade name until it is able to obtain the necessary authority to conduct its proposed operations. 3 Should we have occasion to reissue Villages certificate, we will remove the Camai Air trade name.
