The Romania Green Building Council is a non-profit, non-political association encouraging the
market, educational, and legislative conditions necessary to promote high performance
construction that is both sustainable and profitable.

The organization follows the model of other successful Green Building Councils that have
achieved significant results in promoting environmentally responsible construction in other
countries such as the US (www.usgbc.org), Germany (www.dgnb.de), UK (www.ukgbc.org) and
Holland (www.dgbc.nl) . The RoGBC is accredited as an "emerging member" of the World Green
Building Council (www.WorldGBC.org).

The RoGBC is an inclusive organization recognizing the importance of the involvement of a wide
array of companies including: Real Estate Developers, Investors, Facilities Managers, Construction
Manufacturers, Expertise and Technology providers, Professional Firms (Architects, Engineers,
Consultants, Lawyers, Etc.), Financial Services, Academia and NGOs.

Some of our activities include green building education and promotion. We have organized a
series of events (workshops, conferences, cafes and exhibitions) on green building topics of great
interest to the construction and the adjacent industries.

As we filmed most of the training events, we decided to share with the world the information
disseminated during our workshops.
