What Can Bible Believing People Do to Protect Their Constitutional Freedom of Religion and Speech?

Should religious freedom of speech be abridged to accommodate homosexual "rights?" Should the free exercise of your Christian religion be prohibited to accommodate homosexual "rights?" Copyright 07/31/2013 This is a text for unedited and unchanged distribution on the net and www as long as the author is named. by Tyler and Tyler Publications and Posts of 91977 "Bill of Rights Amendment I "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, . . ." Consider the following: "The city council of San Antonio, Texas, begins debate on a bill Friday that would prohibit anyone who opposes homosexuality from holding public office or getting a city contract, Fox News Radio reports." "The proposal would add the phrases sexual orientation and gender identity to San Antonios discrimination ordinance, protecting gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders. It also includes military veterans. "But the measure would not add a religious exemption, which could affect Christians who believe homosexuality is a sin from serving on the city council, according to Fox News Radios Todd Starnes." http://www.newsmax.com/US/san-antonio-gay-law/2013/07/31/id/518011 Consider the following: "Should Christians actively oppose gay marriage legalization, stand up for equality in what is being called the modern civil rights movement, or just stay out of it? "This is no easy question to answer, for it requires that the Christian first answer several other questions. What should be the relationship between religion and politics? How much should Christian morality influence the morality of non-Christians? Is gay marriage even un-Christian?" http://www.examiner.com/article/gay-marriage-laws-should-you-be-worried Consider Obama's attempt to change the Bill of Rights: The homosexual move to deny and suppress Judeo-Christian religious freedoms is supported by Obama's doctrine that the Bill of Rights guarantees the freedom to "WORSHIP," NOT the "free exercise" of one's religion. Obama is a constitutional lawyer so he knows exactly what he is doing to try to rewrite the Bill of Rights to limit the exercise of our religious freedom to only that which happens during worship, not during preaching, teaching or

evangelization. Obama's way enables him to subject "Christian" hospitals, colleges, seminaries and schools to secular laws that favor homosexuality and abortion. http://catholic.org/national/national_story.php?id=37390&page=1 - - http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/jan/28/obama-freedom-toworship-assaults-first-amendment/ - - http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2010/07/23/randy-sly-obama-clintonfreedom-religion-freedom-worship-fort-hood/ - - SO WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT???????????????? In order to prevail in court against these attacks on Christian citizens, Christian business owners and operators, the religious organizations of which they are members must [1] clearly state what the Bible specifically says about morality (homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, indecent exposure, pedophilia or pornography); and [2] clearly state what is their understanding of the specific Bible Scriptures that tell us what we are expected to do about that which the Bible indicates is sin, transgression, iniquity, and that which falls short of His Glory. Armed with such clear religious statements, the believer is able to show the court that his/her behavior is an accurate expression of his/her "free exercise" of their religious freedom and their "freedom of speech." Most Christian churches and ministries have doctrinal statements or statements of their faith that define their "free exercise" of their religion and their religious "freedom of speech," like the following: [1] "11. We believe that a New Testament Church is a body of baptized believers, assembled for worship, service, and the spread of the Gospel in all the world. (Acts 2; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19-20)" [2] A church covenant and statement of faith derived from their understanding of the Bible and agreed upon by the members of a particular fellowship, church &/or ministry (e.g. http://www.calvarybaptistgainesville.org/doctrine.htm) In order to prevail in court against the homosexual attempts to deny us our religious freedom and freedom of speech, we must show that our religious behavior and speech are based on agreed upon Scriptures like the following: ***Isa 58:1 Cry out loudly! Dont hold back! Lift up your voice like a trumpet! Declare to My people their transgression, and to the house of Jacob their sins. ***Ezekiel 33:2 Son of man, speak to your people and tell them: Suppose I bring the sword against a land, and the people of that land select a man [pastor, preacher, bishop, deacon, teacher] from among them, appointing him as their watchman, 3 Now if, upon seeing the sword coming against that country, he blows the trumpet and warns the people; 4 then if anyone who

hears the sound of the trumpet does not take warning, and the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet and did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning shall save his life. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but I will hold the watchman responsible for his death. ***Matt 28:19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; 20 and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. ***Luke 24:46 telling them, Here is what it says: the Messiah is to suffer and to rise from the dead on the third day; 47 and that repentance [from] and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His Name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. ***2 Cor 6:14 Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For how can righteousness and lawlessness be partners? Or what fellowship has Light with darkness? 15 And what agreement does Christ have with Beliar, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement does Gods sanctuary have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God . . . 7:1 Therefore, dear friends, since we have such promises, we should purify ourselves from everything that can defile either body or spirit, and strive to be completely holy, out of reverence for God. ***1 Corinth 5:9 I wrote to you in a letter not to associate with sexually immoral people, 10 not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11 But now I have written to you not to associate with any socalled brother, if he is a sexually immoral person or a greedy person or an idolater or a verbally abusive person or a drunkard or a swindler or a thief with such a person not even to eat. . . . 6: 9 Do you not know that

unrighteous persons shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither sex sinners [those who have sexual intimacy with someone other than their own heterosexual marital partner - Ezek23], . . . nor those who have sex with another's woman &/or those who wrongfully leave their wives and marry another, . . nor male catamites &/or prostitutes who allow themselves to be homosexually used , nor homosexuals/pederasts , 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor abusive persons, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
***Ephesians 5:7 So dont become partners [in disobedience] with those [who disobey Him.] . . . 11 Dont participate in the fruitless works and deeds of darkness, but instead expose, reprove and convict them. ***1 Timothy 5:20 Publicly rebuke those [elders/leaders] who sin, so that the rest will also be afraid. 21 I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of His chosen angels, to maintain these principles without bias, doing nothing in

a spirit of partiality or favoritism. 22 . . . do not share in other peoples sins keep yourself pure. ***2 Timothy 4:2 Proclaim the message; be ready in season and out of season; rebuke, correct, and encourage with great patience and teaching. ***Titus 1:7 For a [Church] overseer, as Gods administrator, must be blameless, . . . 9 He must hold firmly to the trustworthy Message that agrees with the Doctrine; so that he will be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict it. . . . 2:11 For the grace of God has appeared with salvation for all people. 12 It teaches us to renounce godlessness and worldly pleasures, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives now, in this age; 13 waiting for the blessed hope and manifestation of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. 15 Say these things, and encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard or despise you. For those who try to say our faith has nothing to do with the work place, we need to show them the following: ***Malachi 3:5 I will come to you in judgment, and I will be ready to witness against sorcerers and adulterers; against those who swear falsely; against those who oppress the widow and the fatherless, and CHEAT THE WAGE EARNER; and against those who deny justice to the foreigner. They do not fear Me, says the Lord of Hosts. ***Ephes 6:5 Slaves/servants, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ. 6 Dont obey just to win their favor, serving only when they are watching you; but serve as slaves of the Messiah, doing what God wants with all your heart. 7 Rendering service readily with goodwill, as to the Lord and not to men, . . . 9 And masters, DO THE SAME THINGS TO THEM [as slaves of the Messiah, doing what God wants with all your heart. 7 Rendering service readily with goodwill, as to the Lord and not to men,] and give up threatening and verbal abuse, knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him. ***Colos 4:4 Masters, grant to your slaves justice and righteous fairness, knowing that you too have a Master in heaven. ***James 2:2 My brothers, do not show favoritism as you hold on to the faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ. . . 9 But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the Law as transgressors. . . . 5:5 Next, a word for the rich: weep and wail over the hardships coming upon you! . . . 4 You have not paid any wages to those who work in your fields. Listen to their complaints! The cries of those who gather in your crops have reached the ears of God, the Lord Almighty. HOW SHOULD WE RELATE TO HOMOSEXUALS ETC? 14 Keep on blessing those who persecute you and do not ask God to do harm or evil to them. . . . . . 16 Live in harmony with each other. . . . Do not think

that you are wiser than you really are. 17 Do not pay anyone back with wickedness, injury, evil and or harm <2556 kak-os> for the wickedness, injury, evil and/or harm <2556 kak-os> [they did], but fix your thoughts on what is right and honorable in the sight of all people. 18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, live in peace with everyone. 19 Never avenge yourselves, dear friends, but leave room for Gods wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me. I will pay them back, says the Lord. 20 But if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink. By doing this, you will pile burning coals on his head. 21 Do not be overcome and conquered by wickedness, injury, evil and/or harm <2556 kak-os>, but overcome and conquer wickedness, injury, evil and/or harm <2556 kak-os> with good and benefits." Rom 12 "27 But I say to you who are listening: Kindly, gently, patiently and unselfishly Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. 28 Ask God to do good to those who ask God to do evil to you, and pray for those who insult you. 29 If someone hits you on the cheek, offer him the other one as well, and if someone takes your coat, dont keep back your shirt either. 30 Keep on giving [something] to everyone who asks you [for something], and if anyone takes what is yours, do not insist on getting it back. 31 Whatever you want people to do to and for you, do the same to them." Luke 6 In order to prevail in court and show that all of the above is part of your "free exercise of religion" and speech, your church and/or denomination need to have Scriptures like those listed above in the creed, statement of faith, doctrinal statement and/or church covenant.
