As a note : Dance, Music and performance are considered CTE, since students take the course as a sequence that leads to a career butare covered under the arts and not certified by the CTE dept. Differentiated programs are offered in the least restrictive environment for our 12:1:1 students to give them entry level skills in CTE program. The programs are co taught with a CTE teacher and a special ed teacher. Since these are entry level the students do not take an industry assessment. Business students must take a sequence of 6 business course to be considered for the industry certification, School year 13-14 is the first time assessment will be offered. Business which is about 1250 to 1500 students each year still for the most part are elective courses but the district is moving to offer the3 business sequence strands so students can get the endorsement and have access to college credit *indicates that the program is certified through NYSED +indicates in progress for certification through NYSED
