SPEAKING TOPIC FOR TESTING LEVEL B TOPIC 1: MY HOLIDAY I like travelling and I have had many interesting holidays.

In the summer, I usually go on vacation with my family. We have visited many famous places such as: Hanoi, Danang, Nhatrang but we like the vacation to Dalat best because it was very wonderful. At 10 oclock my family arrived in Dalat. My father had booked a big room before, so we went to check in and rested. After resting for a while, we went to Thung lung tinh yeu. Thung lung tinh yeu has many beautiful flowers: tulips, roses, violets As you may know, many people have considered Dalat a wonderful, romantic and attractive city. After that we went back to our hotel. My family had dinner together in our hotel at 7.30. My mother liked the foods because they were delicious. That vacation was too short but we felt it wonderful. It is my greatest time in life. TOPIC 2: In my family, I love and respect everybody but I admire my mother most. My mother is 42 years old now. She is thin with long black hair that is my sisters dream, she is about average height. My characteristics is not the same with my mother but my sisters are very similar to her. My mother is the woman of family, she is always busy with the family cooking and taking care of my family especially the children. Everyday, my mother usually cooks meals for the whole family, which my mother always says thats the happiest thing of hers. My dad is very proud to have a wife like my mother. Thanks for my mother caring that my family is always happy. So my mother has always been my role model to follow and learn. TOPIC 3: TRAFFIC JAM Traffic jam is the problem that people from many countries in the world are facing in my country today, and Vietnam is not an exception. Everyday, all over the country, there are a lot of traffic accidents, because in our country there are millions of motorbikes, bicycles, cars and the roading system isnt good enough. Everybody wants to get to where they want in the shortest time, but the traffic is too crowded, thats the traffic reason causing traffic accidents or traffic jams. The traffics jams make people who have to wait for a long time tired and sometimes stressful. It is not good for our health. Besides, while people are being stuck in traffic jam, the smokes of the vehicles can cause many lung diseases as well as cause the air pollution that is the world-wide problem. Personally I think it is very important that the government should give more information to help improve the citizens awareness when they are in traffic. It can help to reduce traffic jam in our country. TOPIC 4:

MY FAVOURITE SPORT There are many kinds of sports but I like football most. Everyday, at 4.30 pm, I usually ride to Tuyen Son sport town to play football with my friends. Normally one team predeposits. And then we have a match in which each team tries very hard to win because the losing team has to pay 200.000 vnd for rental fee, everybody doesnt want to loose the money. It is very fun to play with a simple purpose like that. If we play in the day time, the fee will be cheaper. After each game, we both teams will go to the caf together to stretch and discuss the match. Playing football helps me to improve my health and let out the stress after a day-long hard working and studying. TOPIC 5: TOURIST Danang is a beautiful city with many tourist attractions such as Ba Na Hills, Thuan Phuoc bridge and the beautiful long beach but I like Bana Hills most because it has the highest cable system in south east Asia and it has many beautiful scenes that attract many tourists every year. Also Bana Hills scenes are peaceful and poetry. Besides, I also like Thuan Phuoc bridge, Danang city is famous for its bridges, but maybe Thuan Phuoc is the most creative and poetry bridge. I usually ride my motorbike across it because I want to see all the city view from this bridge. It is fascinating. Danang also had a beautiful long beach which is one of five most beautiful beach in the world. Every afternoon, there are thousands of Danang citizens go to the beach for many activities such as swimming, flying the kites or just jogging. I myself like to swim because I feel it very healthy for life. TOPIC 6: MY DAILY ACTIVITIVES In the morning. I usually get up at 6 am. Then I do my personal hygiene, after that I often do exercise and have breakfast at 7am. I go to the construction place where I am doing my apprentice time from 8am to 11am. After that, I go home, then I go to the market to buy something for lunch with my roommates. I like cooking because I can cook well. After having the delicious lunch meals, we take a short nap and then, at around 2pm, I go to the construction place again and continue my morning job, I finish my work at 5pm. In the evening I often watch TV, play games on the internet, go to the caf with my friends or just listen to some pop music. I enjoy this time of the day very much because I can relax after a hard-working day. I go to bed at 11pm. TOPIC 7 WHAT KIND OF PROGRAMS DO YOU LIKE TO WATCH ON TV- WHY We like the TV show Who will be the Millionaire. It is usually available every Tuesday night. It is very interesting. The game is a competition in which at first 10 people have to answer a question with the fastest time to become the chief player.

After that the chief player has to answer 15 questions each by each correctly to win the money after each question. If they dont know the answer, they have 4 chances to pass: call for help of the friend, ask for help of audiences, 50-50 and change the question. If they still cant find the answer, they can choose to stop their competition at any time. If the player fails to answer, he or she will be out. And the competition repeats from the beginning. We like this program because it is exciting and especially the prize of the game, the winner answers 15 questions correctly will receive the big amount of money of 12.000.000 VND. It is wonderful. TOPIC: 8 MY FUTURE Now I am a student of Danang University of Architecture and thats why in the future, I would like to become an architect. My main job is to design constructions such as public constructions, apartment buildings and houses. In my work, we have to be creative and discipline. We can work in supervising and consulting to build architectural constructions. We can work individually or team-work. It also requires skills of an architecture and an engineer. I like this job because I can design constructions that can bring many conveniences for society in general and every family in particular. So now Im trying to study as hard as I can to get the necessary knowledge that is very helpful for my future job. Im looking forward to graduating and working as soon as possible. TOPIC: 9 LIFE IN CITY I have been a student of Danang university of Architecture since 2008 so I have lived I Danang city for 4 years now. Truthfully, wherever I have lived I have had many advantages and disadvantages. The advantages that I have had when I live in Danang city is to live in the dynamic and bustling environment. It is very suitable to a young person like me. In Danang city, there are many public vehicles that meet the demands of Danang citizens. The entertainment services and travel services are also better. However there are many disadvantages such as: I always feel dangerous when crossing the streets because the streets are crowded. The price of everything here is also higher than my hometown. I find it hard to buy things with my little money. There are many more difficulties but I cant list all here. Although there are many disadvantages, I still like to live in Danang city. TOPIC: 10 LIFE IN COUNTRY Although I am living in a big city now, I like the life in the country very much. In the countryside, I feel very relax and comfortable, the air is fresh and pure and especially the people there, everybody is very friendly and kind. I like to walk on the long village roads in the morning. It is very peaceful and the sound of the new day is so interesting. The price there is also very cheap. I can buy many

things such as foods or clothes with unbelievable prices that much lower than those in the city. I think living in the country will help us to have good health because of the fresh air with little pollution. I hope I can spend many more vacations going to wonderful countrysides. TOPIC 11: YOUR FAVOURITE TEACHER My favourite teacher was my English teacher in the university. I first met her when I was the first year student in the university. She had taught me for 3 years and after that she quit the university. She is the teacher that I love most. Her names Oanh. She is about 25 years old, she come from Hanoi. She is rather tall for a lady. She has light brown curly hair and always wears thick glasses. She is rather strict. However, she actually very approachable and always concerned about her students. Her teaching methods are usually effective. She corrects the mistakes of pronunciation, grammar and English structures carefully. She made the students practice a lot of with short sentences intonation to help them improve their pronunciation. At the end of each lesson, she gives us the exercises and clearly explains them to correct the mistakes if there was any. Her method is very good, we can feel our progress lesson by lesson. I respect and love her so much. She is really my favorite teacher. TOPIC: 12 WHY DO YOU STUDY ENGLISH? Nowadays, it is undeniable that English is an international language. It has been used in all fields of education, communication, transportation and public activities. English has been spoken everywhere, and it is the language of many books in various fields such as: science, technology, geography, travelling, etc. Many students are coming to the foreign language centers to study English with the hope of being capable of using it for different purposes. It is so important that English should become a compulsory subject for all students at universities in many countries. If you can use English very well, you will have good chances to have good jobs in the future. So we should learn English as soon as possible. English is one of the best ways for us to have a good life in the future. TOPIC 13 English is the most popular language in the world. In my studying, I find that leaning English is very important. But personally, when I study it, I find it difficult to study listening, speaking and writing. I can hear the English sounds but I dont understand what people are talking about. Why? Because I just have little English vocabularies. Besides, I dont use my vocabularies very often and they are faded through time. With me, to deal with the difficulties in learning E I think I should study many more vocabularies. In speaking E, I must I practice listening through songs, news, films, or even games.

There are many foreigners in Danang, so why dont you meet them and talk with them to improve your speaking, listening and writing, I should learn more about grammars and structure to improve it. I wish I would be better in E in the near future. TOPIC: 15 The movie star who I like best is Tang Thanh Ha because she is very beautiful and talent. According to some newspaper, her childhood is very bad. She was born in poor family but her mother tries to give her opportunities to study in acting classes. She was lucky when director close her to star in a film Doc tinh and then she has become famous. She is a perfect model of modern woman for many girls to follow. It is her that help me to have better life and hope in the future to continue to try in my life to have a better future. TOPIC 16 In many types of vehicles, I like bicycle most because I think it is a convenient and simple vehicles. Firstly, it doesnt use fuel, so I dont have to spend any money on gasoline, besides, it does not emit any so it hardly pollutes the environment. Secondly, when you want to go somewhere you can ride a bike. It helps to improve your health. But since it goes slowly, you can only use it in a short distance or go for a picnic or so on. Today, gasoline price is so high. So it is expensive to use motorbikes, cars to go somewhere, so it is best to use bicycle. What do you think if you ride a bike around or ride along the beach every morning? It is wonderful. TOPIC 17 In Vietnam, most people like sports. If you wake up in the early morning, you can see many people, the young or the old both go out to do exercises. People do many kind of sports such as football, basketball, tennis, badminton, etc. People do exercises because these kinds of activities help them to improve their health, to keep in shape and especially doing exercises helps us to decrease stress after working hours. Personally, I think the most popular sport in Vietnam is football. Therefore there are many football grounds, satisfying the requirements of everybody. If you have a chance to go out in the afternoon, you will see many people in the football costumes to go to mini stadium to have a football match with their friends. It is very interesting to watch a game like that. TOPIC 18 There are many people who believe that doing exercises always makes them feel uncomfortable because they have to do it whether they like to do or not.

Normally, we only do exercises when we want to lost weight. So it often makes you feel stressful if you have to wake up early or get sweater when doing exercises. But I think doing exercises will bring you many benefits, such as: doing exercises regularly is very good for your heart, it will help you to have a fitter body, it also prevents diseases, reduces stress, increase cold tolerance ability, bring comfort to people with asthma and it also prevent cancer. There are some sports that I think they are very good for you. For example: Swimming, it is a sport that is suitable for all ages to improve health, swimming activities help the body quickly burned energy, the basic elements can help you control your weight. Or cycling, it will help to reduce 90% migraine, best for people who are stopping stacking, lose weight and besides it will help to prevent environmental pollution. TOPIC 19: Learning E is very helpful for everyone. Indeed, if you understand English well you can work with your computer effectively and easily, because most computers use English language. You can also read more information on the Internet. If you want to travel around the world you should know a little English because it helps you to communicate with people in many places. With good E, you can easily find a good job because nowadays, many companies are expanding to abroad, so it is necessary for employees to know English to communicate with their partners. I like E phonetics and vocabularies because one word can have many different meanings. I find it very important to know English. Nowadays, all over the world, many countries use English as their first language, and also many use as a second or foreign language. I study English by watching movies with English subtitles, listening to English songs, doing English grammar exercises or chatting with foreigners in English. Its so interesting to communicate with other people in English. TOPIC 20: After school, I like to go the park. This place help me to clear my tiredness and my stress. There are trees, flowers and glasses like in a paradise. The park I am used to going to is 29-3 park, it is near the center of Danang city. The park is where we usually go to for a walk. In the morning, many people from very young to old age go there to do exercises such as jogging, weights lifting, football or badminton. Everybody goes there for the fresh air there. The fresh air help us to feel comfortable and relax. In the middle in the park, there is a lake, we often go there for fishing or swimming. The park has lot of big trees and flowers and it is place many people to come to organize events and activities. There is also a zoo in the 29-3 park, in the afternoon, many parents with their children go there to watch the birds, the tigers, the monkeys and many kinds of animals there. Sometimes, some people bring food to feed the animals. It is very interesting when

seeing the monkeys are fed by people. They are so naughty that make the children excited. TOPIC 21: MY FUTURE PLANS Anyone of us has future plans in our life, and me too. Im a small person but I think my future plans isnt so small as me. Im the last year student of Danang Architecture University right now. After graduation, I hope to find a good job with a good salary in the environment that I could use my abilities is suitable with my major and abilities. Furthermore, I also want to work in a foreign company. I think its a good environment to develop my working skills such as professional working conditions, speaking English as well as communicative skills and the method of working is very professional. I also want to earn much money from my work in the future, so I will work hard to get my expected salary. I love my parents, so I want to give them some money or other things to help them have a better life in future years when I they get older Besides, I also want to travel to many places, other countries in the world, to know new cultures there, especially to eat much good and strange food. In the future, when I have enough experience, Id like to build my own company or run a fashion shop to sell clothes which will be designed by myself. Fashion is my biggest passion. And I will employ many people, give them work in order to contribute to the development of my country, even though a little. I hope my dreams will become true!!! TOPIC 22: MY FAVOURITE SPORT My favourite kind of sport is badminton. This is a popular sport in the world. Whether you play professionally or play just play for fun with friends, badminton requires good vision and quick response. Scientists have proven that playing this sport brings many benefits to your health and help you to live longer. This can be achieved if you play badminton at least 30 minutes a day. The main benefits of badminton are to reduce bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol. Also, playing badminton will improve your body, reduce you heart rate down and reduce blood pressure. Both of these effects are beneficial for those who are stressful. And like other sports, badminton requires a lot of calories that help them tom avoid being converted into fat. Finally, badminton helps you feel healthy, energetic and young. It helps reduce stress and increases confidence for myself. TOPIC 23A: After graduation, I want to work in a bank because my major is financial banking. I want to work in a foreign bank company because there is an active and creative

environment. I will have many opportunities to promote and improve my English skills and especially there will be high salary that satisfies my expectation. The bank which I want to work in is Vietcombank. I like this bank because I use to do my apprentice period there. All staffs are very friendly, helpful and full of experiences. To prepare for my future job, I had do a part time job, I think its very good for me because it helps me have real experience outside the university, widen many social relationships and improve my communicative skills, earn a little money to support to myself. Besides, I also want to be a business woman because I want to earn a lot of money to fulfill my wishes. TOPIC 23B: In my opinion, Lady Gaga is the most famous person in the world. She was born on March 28th, 1986 in the New York city. She is a singer, a song writer, an actress, a dances, and an activist. She studied at Junior School in Convent, and after that she studied at Tish University of Artistic. She began playing at rock stage in 2007 and then she released her first album The fame. Her successful field are pop music, dance music, electric music and rock music. She has known to play musical accessories, such as piano, keyboards. She contented the first place in ranking table in many countries which have large musical market such as UK, America. She keeps releasing albums Born this way, Judas and The Edge of glory. Beside the occupation singer, she joins into many humanity programs. I admire Lady Gaga very much because she is an individualist girl. TOPIC 24: There are many difficulty one person meet in his or her life. But I myself met my most difficultly in my life when I was away from home to go to Danang city to study for the first time. It was the time I first had to study in university. I had to live independently, I had to do everything completely by myself: go to the market, cook meals, wash my clothes or take care of myself when being ill. They were such things that I had never done before. New life in a new big city was very strange to me. I felt very homesick because I didnt know to plan my independent life. After a few months, my life was much better because I got used to living independently. Furthermore, shared my room with my friend, so it was easier for both of us to take care of each other. I have called my family regularly, it helps me reduce my homesickness. Ive learned to live independently. I feel better now and I am used to living independently. TOPIC 25:

Everybody wants to have lots of money. If I have a lot of money, it is will be wonderful because I will use the money to fulfill my dreams. Firstly, I will buy luxury items such as: laptop, car, smart phone, etc. Besides, I will buy the big land to build hotel, motel or just invest into land property. Secondly, I will use my money to travel around the world, visiting the famous wonders of the world, and eat all of the worlds most strange dishes. Maybe I will go to USA to continue my studying. After that, I will use the money to do some charities: I will use one portion to help the disadvantages in my city, my country. Most of my money, I will keep in the bank or buy gold for reserving and the rest I will use to run my own business. I like that. There are more and more things I want to do but I cant list all here. But I will try my best to make all my dreams come true! TOPIC 26: In comparison with travelling by an airplane, travelling by train is much cheaper, significantly roomier and more comfortable. But like any other vehicles, I think that going by train has both advantages and disadvantages: There are some advantages: It is usually quicker than travelling by road because there are no road works, traffic jams, breakdowns or accidents. It is comparatively good for safety reason. Passengers can do other things while they are travelling on the train which they are not allowed to do on an airplane such as talking on the phone, using laptop. The train is relatively cheap if you book the ticket in advanced, and you can see many lovely sceneries outside the train windows sometime. But there are some disadvantages: Sometimes people are talking very loudly on the train and it will make you fell uncomfortable. There is also a limited space inside the carriage of the train that makes people hard to move. Also, if there is an ill person with a bad cough or cold you are going to breathe in their germs and you might also get ill. TOPIC 27: There are many vehicles for you to travel, but there is nothing can compare with air plane because the speed of this type of vehicle is very fast. You dont have to spend as such time as those when you travel by train or by, or by a watering vehicle; and airplane services are also better. The feelings when you sit in an air plane when it is taking off is indescribably enjoyable. When you sit in an air plane, looking out the sky, it looks like the world is coved by the clouds. It is so wonderful. If it is sunny, there will be an imposing scenery, a glorious paradise, the shapes of the cloud are interesting, which are good for your imagination. On the plane, you will be provided with snacks and drinks that are not available in other vehicles.

Besides the advantages, there are also disadvantages when you travel by plane such as the ticket fee is more expensive, you are not allowed to bring instrument containing chemicals, liquids to avoid firing. When the plane takes off and the lands, it will make you feel uncomfortable because of the change in atmospheric pressure. If there is a storm, you shouldnt fly because it is very dangerous of air crash. TOPIC 28: What I hate most in my life. Dirtiness, mess things, shrimp sauce, raining a lots, stay in an inn, mice, cockroaches are what I hate most in life. I am a quite technical and perfectionist person. Furthermore, I am a girl, so what hate most is dirtiness and mess things. What do you think about raining too much? To me, I dont like rain much. Because now I have to stay in an inn. So every time it rains, it takes long time for my clothes to be dried. In the room the felling of the moist cannot escape to outside because there is much water vapor in the air is annoying. And stay in an inn is also what I hate. Because on the first and last day of the month, I have to pay the room, electricity, water fee. And I have to spend a number of other expenses such as foods, fuels... by myself. In addition to these, the noise of the surrounding room is also annoying. Another thing that I hate comes from the mice and cockroaches. They are my traditional enemies. They are things that always destroy furniture and make me feel uncomfortable. TOPIC 29: I was born in a small village far away from city. My village is surrounded by paddy- fields in the river. In my village, there are many footpaths and lots of trees. There are also many large rice fields on which many farmers do the farming work from the early morning till late in the afternoon. To me, these things are familiar and peaceful. I like to walk along the footpaths and listen to the sound of wind blows through the bamboos. It is very poetry. Whenever I feel stressful or just want to take a nap, I go to the bamboos near my houses I take a short nap. After that, I feel very energetic and my stress seems to be blown away. On traditional holidays and Tet holiday, there are many activities such as festivals, traditional games which are really fun and exciting. Everybody in my village gathers together to talk to each other about their new things in their houses, or just tell what they are worrying about to ask for advices. Every time I come back to my hometown, I always have a good, peaceful and relaxed mood. Now I am studying in Danang, but I want to come back to my hometown very often. Its indeed a real pleasure to come back to the place where I grow up. TOPIC 30 I love everybody in my family, but I love and respect my mother most. My mother is a little bit short, her hair is long and black. She is thin and quite fit.

My mother is a kind and friendly person. In my family, she is always the person who stops the quarreling between members. She is also very friendly with our neighbor. My mother is a woman of family. Thanks for her caring, all my family members always feel healthy. She is always busy with the housework, she gets up very early, prepare the breakfast to everybody. After that, she cleans the house, goes to the market to buy food, cooks lunch and prepare for the dinner. She does everything without complaint. I think my mother is very great to sacrifice herself to take care of the family. Every time I do wrong thing, she never hits me but teach me that Im doing wrong, and tells me what is true to do. Thanks for my mother that I can grow up with the best conditions. I love my mother very much and I hope that I will be successful in life in order that I can satisfy the wishes of my mother and bring her good things in the future when she get older. TOPIC 31: What kinds of newspaper do you like best? Why do you like it? Today, wherever you are, you can catch all the information of the world in the previous days. That is the result of the process of globalization. Information from every corner of the world is provided quickly and accurately to each citizen by media companies. You are sitting at home and can keep track with the ongoing situation in Iraq or in the United States, or the price of petrol, the price of gold in the world today. Today, as you know there are many newspapers. But my favorite newspaper is the Times- New York Times. New York Times is an organization providing news reputation in United States, with more than 94 Pulitzer prizes, the most prestigious award in journalism. New York Times includes the largest daily newspapers and electronic newspapers in the United States. Times has readers everywhere in the world who are looking for unique information and narrative perfection, the most attractive news and trends around the world. Time is a professional in many fields such as industry, economics, politics, sports, musics... and readers who are eager to learn the knowledge, always look for the news in each field on New York Times and on NYTimes.com website I feel it is very helpful to read Times to keep me updated with the latest news in the world. TOPIC 32 Many people think that watching TV is a waste of time, many people spend much time watching valueless TV programs. But personally, I thing watching TV is not a waste of time. There are many channels and many programs on TV nowadays, if we know which channels are good to watch is very beneficial. There are many educational programs on TV today such as Everyday science on VTV2, Vietnamese history on VTV3 and many more programs. Watching these programs not only helps you to broaden your knowledge but helps you to know what to do in specific situations.

There are also many entertaining programs on VTV3 channel such as many game shows (Chiec non ky dieu, Dau truong 100, Ai la trieu phu...) and sport programs that meet the demands of viewers. If you do not have many opportunities to travel, you can also watch many interesting programs that bring you many knowledge of places that you have never been to. It is very interesting. There are also many advantages of watching TV but I cant list all here, I only want to mention that if you know what are good for you and spend time watching TV suitably, TV is a good source of knowledge for you. TOPIC 33 Learning English is so difficult for me because I have a lot of trouble remembering vocabularies and complex structures. But in our society today, English is very important because it is the requirement needed in finding a good job for the future. Personally, I think learning English is not difficult as long as you learn vocabulary, understand grammar, practice speaking and writing regularly, learning English at that time will become much easier, and when you learn and understand English, you will find it interesting to learn a great language, for example, a word can have many meanings, it is exciting to know the meaning that we have never known before. Besides, English today is the international language. So good learning English will help you a lot when you study new knowledge, or simply communicate with foreigners. TOPIC 34: On the weekend, I usually do my some interesting activities. In the morning, I usually go to caf with my friends, maybe my roommates, classmates or a friend who I have just met. We often go to the coffee shops that have classical music to chat together. We dont know what we have talked but Im sure that we are all very talkative because it always takes 3 or 4 hours to chat in the caf. Around 9 to 10 am, I usually visit my grandparents with my brother. We often meet with each other on the weekend. I spend some time talking with my aunt, my uncles. After that we make lunch together and enjoy the dishes. My brother and I stay there until 5 pm. After that, we go swimming with my friends in the sea. Then we often take a sip in the evening. But really, I only eat and drink juices. In the late night, we go home to take a good sleep to prepare for tomorrow, for the new week thats the end of a happy weekend. TOPIC 35: Nowadays, smoking is a bad habit of a lot of people. Actually, smoking usually brings bad consequences to the health of the smokers. Besides, smoking in a long time can cause lung cancer.

Smoking will affect the surround environment, to a lot of surrounding people such as: your wife, your children, furthermore a lot of smoking can destroy the economics of smokers family. Due to all the above reasons, I dont smoke and usually help smokers to aware the harms of smoking every day, tell them that they should stop smoking to have a healthy environment thats no smoke. 1.Home and family (Gia nh). My name is TVC. I come from Thai Binh. I was born in a big family with my grandmother, my parents and my two brothers. My gandmother is a kind and beautiful old women. She always tells me old stories and teaches me how to cook. It is good for my life in the future. My parents have a small restaurant. Everyday, they must work very hard to earn money. My older brother is an engineer of informatic technology. Now, he is working in Mobi company. I like him so much because he gives me some money every month. My younger brother is a student. Now, he is studying at Ha Noi University of Aricutule. He wants to study further with a scholarship in a famous country after graduation. My brothers are very intelligent. I am always proud of my family. I like the atmosphere in my family. We have dinner together every day. We often talk about our work, the weather, educating children during the meal. After dinner, we watch the news and films. Sometimes, we comment on the content of the films or football matches. Moreover, we go on holiday once a year. We enjoy many activities together on the beach or in the mountains. I happy, beaucause I have a wonderfull family. 2.Learning foreign language: (Hc ngn ng nc ngoi) Nowadays, learning foreign languages is very important, especially English. English is very necessary in social communication in many countries. There are some advantages of learning English. Firstly, if you are good at E, you can read any document that is necessary for your study. Secondly, you can find a good job with a high salary with good E skill. Furthermore, nowadays, E is a global language. Learning E will help you to communicate with foreign people from around the world more easily. It also helps you open your mind. As for me, I am not good at English but I will spend more time on English in the near future. I believe my E skill will be better if I am hard-working. 3. Transport (Giao thng vn ti) Im going to tell you about transport problems in Vietnam. Firtsly, Transport in VN is very terible. Especially, in big cities like Hanoi, there are too many motorbikes on the road and people dont follow the traffic laws. They cross the road while the lights are red. They may be the reasons why there are too many accidents in Vietnam. Another problem of transport in Vietnam is road systems. They are too old and narrow. They should be repaired. More new roads should be built. In my opinion, now the most necessary solutions to the transport problems in Vietnam are educating people, especially young people about traffic laws and building more

modern road systems. 4. Hobbies (s thch ring) and entertainment (gii tr) : I have a lot of hobbies. For example: play football, travelling or listen to music. But today, Im going to tell you about My favourite sport. My most favourite sport is football. It is a famous sport in the world. Football is such a popular game that is played even in the most remote area of my country. Even old people and children enjoy watching this game. When The Championship of World, the Premier League happen, people can "eating football, sleeping football and playing football" and football is called the "King sport". Football players should be strong enough to kick the ball. They must also be skillful in controlling the ball. This makes this game difficult indeed, yet it also makes it interesting. When I studied at Ha noi University of Agriculture, I participated in a team of the faculty of Agronomy. My team won and the champion cup belonged to my team. I always love this game! 5. Game and sport To tell you the truth, I very like sport but I dont have enough time. I just like watching them on TV. The sport that I want to tell you today is football. I really like watching football matches on TV. My favourite football team is Liverpool club. They play very well and the players are very handsome, especially Sevent Gerrad. I usually watch football matches with my father and my brothers at night. My father and I support Liverpool but my brother likes MU so we allways argue about football teams and Championleage. In my opinion, there are a lot of good things about playing football. It not only helps you stronger, but also helps you learn to unite. When I studied at Ha noi University of Agriculture, I participated in a team of the faculty of Agronomy. My team won and the champion cup belonged to my team. I always love this game! 6. Health and welfare (sc khe v hnh phc): Im going to tell you about health care problem in Vietnam. As you know, Vietnam is a developping country so health care systems are still poor and old. Almost state owned hospitals were built a long time ago in Vietnam. Therefore, they are all old and small. They do not meet peoples demand The majority of big hospitals are in big cities such as Hanoi, HCM... Further more, the the government invest a little money in local hospitals and clinics. Thats why many people have to take a long journey hnh trnh to get to a big hospital when they are badly trm trng ill. Nowadays, the problems are improving. The government is investing more in health care. I hope that the health care system will be better in the near future in Viet Nam. 7 Education: Well, for me, education is a complicated problem to say. I'm going to tell you something about hostels for students.

You know, allmost students who are studying in Hanoi come from poor provinces. After they pass a difficult exam, new students and their families must prepare alot of things for their study. Nowaday, the most important problem of new students is dormitory. Hanoi is too small for too much students so boarding house and dormitory for student is not enough. Students must bay alot of money for a small room, it is not fair because they dont have much money. With these reasons, pressing problem now is build more hostel for students, especially cheap price hostel. In my case, I lived in hostel through 4 years and I really love the life in hostel, it is safe peaceful and people here are very friendly. In my opinion, most of university should be built more hostel for students. 8. Houses I dont known every people think what about your house, for me, I love my house so much. Today I'm going to tell you something about my house. It is an old house that was build about 10 years ago. My parents built it by their save money. When you visit my house, the fist thing you will see is a medium living room, it is decorated with the light color and some beautiful pictures on the wall. There are 3 bed rooms in my house.There are one livingroom, and kitchen and the toilet. I really love sister bed room because She decorate it by my self with pink walls, sister cute bed, a wardrobe and a lovely dressing table. The kitchen in my house is not big and modern but my mother is very like it because where is my mother make a lot of delicious and special dishes for my family. Every night, my family watch TV together in living room. We talk about everything. And I think it is the best time we have together. 9. Holiday Firstly, I want to tell you that I really like holidays. Im going to talk about Tet holiday. It is the first holiday in the year. I really like it because I dont have to do any thing in my office on Tet holiday. Therefore, I have more time for my family. On Tet holiday, people in Vietnam usually visit their grand parents, relatives or friends. They greet each other and give the best wishes. Adults usually give lucky money to children. Also, all people are happy to wear new clothes. Especially, people make a lot of delicious and special dishes a thc n. For example, square cake , spring rolls, etc As for me, I usually spare time with my family on the first day of the new year. I often go out with my friends the rest days. 10. Social problems. Nowaday, people not only in Vietnam but also from around the world busier than in the past, and they dont have enough time for there family. So, Im going to tell you something about family problem in Vietnam. You know, Vietnam is a developing country, people are trying to have a better life. That

is the reason why they spend more time for their work and dont have enough time for their family. Parents dont spend more time to play and talk with there children. When members in a family dont spend time together It make children feel lonely and they may leave their home to make friend with strange people, its really dangerous for children. In my opinion, people should balance time between work and family. 11. The economic development As you know, Viet nam has been unified since 1975. Viet nam made a big mis take about economic development, as we didnt apply the opendoor policy after re unifying the country. As a result, viet nam had to need aids from other counties. The economic was not development; The People,s life. Therefore Vietnam had to open the door for development of economy in 1986 an Doi moi means reform. At the moment, the Vietnamese Party anh Government concentrate on the economic developmemt ecomomic with the program modernization and industrialization all over the country. More and more foreign investors invest in Vietnam. The economy has been improving day by day. So much work has been done as well as the peoples life are getting better and better . The reputation of Vietnam has been raised especially after joining the wto. Now a day, Viet nam is striving for an industrialized country by 2020. We believe that Vietnam will become a developed country in the near future 12. Environment As you know, Vietnam is a developing country so the development of industry is very important. As a result, the environment is polluted. There are many kinds of pollution like air pollution, water, soil, etc In my opinion, air polluion is the most serious. Smoke from factories store many kinds of toxics such as CO2 , CO, NH3, etc It effects animals, plants and peoples life. Plants and animals near industrial zones can not grow normally. Especially, air pollution cause a lot of serious diseases such as lung cancer, skin cancer and other diseases. From my point of view, developing economy is very important but we must balance between benefit and damage. We should protect our environment by planting more and more trees, cleaning the environment. Another sollution is educating people about benefits of the clean/ fresh environment. 13. Food: Im going to tell you about my favourite food. As you know, Vietnam is a tropical country. There are a lot of tropical foods. My favourite food is beef noodle. It is made of rice, beef, and many kinds of herbs. I usually eat beef noodle in the morning. My favourite restaurant is Cuong Noodle. It is a small restaurant located on Tran Hung Dao street. Whenever I eat beef noodle, it always makes me have a special taste. Hanoi is famous for beef noodle. Whats more, it is also well- known for a lot of delicious foods. For example

Omai, grilled rice. At home, my mother makes beef noodle very well. She often makes it when my family get together. We enjoy the happy time when we have beef noodle at home. 14. Fashion: You can see me, I am not a famous man, Im a traditional man so my knowledge about fashion is not very much. In my opinion, fashion is something make people more beautiful and more charming. Fashion usually is made by young people. Nowaday, teenage usually wear exceptional clothers and those clothers have many colour. Their hair are also dyed with many colours, for example red, brown, or even green. Fashion is not very common in middle-age person and old people never follow fation. In my way of thinking, Fashion is very good for every people but we must follow it by a right way.
