The operation of motor is through vfd. Also the vibration are not continu

Vibrations can be produced if the fan is oversized or some misalignment happens. How much is the usual amps load and power factor? Regards 4 days ago Unlike Like

IgnacioUnfollow Follow Ignacio Ignacio Waldman Hi Praveen, You should check if the vibration appear in a particular frequency. If so, most of vfd have some parameter for skip that resonance frequency. On other hand, increase switching frequency of the vfd can help to reduce mechanical issues. By the way, is really easy talk about a 1000Kw motor from other continent...If I were you, I would meet a local expert. Best wishes, Ignacio. 4 days ago Unlike Like

IngoUnfollow Follow Ingo Ingo Magura PEM Praveen, you may require some condition monitoring analysis, which can determine if the problem is caused by any of the following: bad bearings, misalignment, bend shaft, loose foundation or other electrically induced problems. Do the vibrations exist when the motor is not connected to the fan? 4 days ago Unlike Like

AlejandroUnfollow Follow Alejandro Alejandro Lpez Regarding comments; could be a lot of causes, maybe you have problems with the bearings, or with the fan, the couppongi section, I suggest to talk with a company who can review the motor in site, maybe the motor manufacturer can provide you technical support, good luck 1 day ago Unlike Like

PraveenUnfollow Follow Praveen Praveen Sharma VIbrations do not exists, when the motor is on no load but the heavy sound from the motor in no load condition also. All the motor of same application having same problem i.e. 4 nos. Some having higher and some on lower side. 1 day ago Unlike Like

PraveenUnfollow Follow Praveen Praveen Sharma This is ID fan of the 150 MW thermal power plant (Between chimney and ESP). The vibrations are not continuous and appears several times whenever there is change in the speed. But the knocking sound in the motor is continuous. The usual amp is 75-80 Amp and PF is 0.9. 1 day ago Unlike Like

ArunachalamUnfollow Follow Arunachalam Arunachalam Karuppiah Dear One, If it is due to induced Sub-Synchronous Vibration due to the VFD feeding the Motor, then acquire the Natural frequency information of the Rotating elements in the Fan train and skip the fundamental & Multiple frequencies in the VFD controller. 17 hours ago Unlike Like

VesaUnfollow Follow Vesa Vesa sterholm Normally there is a fan curve " a window" were fan can operate. If fan is operated out side the window vibrations can occur due to cavitation. What is your speed range, open or closed impeller? 17 hours ago Unlike Like
