Brief overview: At present retired from the post of Director General of the Aligarh College of engg. and technology Aligarh ,also worked as Director of this college and a highly acclaimed educationist and a dynamic administrator.Retired professor from department of Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Has more than 35 Years of experience in teaching, research and administration. Guided 26 students for their Ph.D. degree and has published more than 120 research papers in journals of National and International repute. One of his research papers was selected as a part of sampling by Institute of Scientific Information; U.S.A. Delivered several invited talks in various conferences/symposia/workshops and chaired many sessions. He has been the referee for International and National Journals and is the author of many chapters in the books on environmental science and on Analytical Chemistry published by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. Prof. Rawat is also the editor of some of these books. He has worked in different administrative capacities during his tenure in Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.
