DATE: August 4, 2013 SIGNIFICANT CALLS FOR SERVICE/INCIDENTS:
130804-1816-02 DV-Viol. Legal Order 12220 Hortulan Court (Plum Creek) The complainant called because her ex-husband had not returned their children to the residence by 1800 hours. The complainant also expressed other issues that she had with her ex-husband while officers were speaking to her. She was advised to document her concerns and contact her lawyer for help in court. 130804-1909-02 DV-Viol. Legal Order 9101 Sam Furr Rd The complainant called because his teenage daughter picked up his son earlier than the agreed upon time and didnt want to be accused of violating the court order. Officers were also called to the McDonalds on Boren Street to speak to the ex-wife and kids because complainant had told them he was going to attempt and have an Amber Alert created for them. 130804-1933-01 Suspicious Vehicle 11110 Harbert Rd (Vermillion) The complainant called regarding a teal in color pickup truck in the area that matched the description a home builder had sent out regarding thefts. Officers were unable to locate any vehicles in the community matching the description. 130804-2131-04 Suicide Threat 8715 Lindholm Dr #1C (Birkdale Village) The complainant called regarding her boyfriend being in the apartment intoxicated with a handgun. She also advised that he texted her a photo of the gun and said he was going to hurt himself. Officers were able to make contact with the male party who spoke to officers and admitted sending the photo, but also stated the two were having a fight and he was angry. The man did not make any indications that he was in danger to officers on scene and refused to go anywhere tonight to talk to anyone. The gun was seized for safekeeping. 130804-2228-00 Domestic Disturbance 13429 Norseman Ln (Melbourne) The complainant called because her soon to be ex-husband was calling her and left a message that if she didnt call him back tonight he would come to either the house or her place of employment during the day. She was advised on protective orders and not to confront him and call police. 130805-0102-01 Legal Papers 10030 Gilead Rd A male subject was transported to Charlotte with an involuntary order. 130805-0107-03 Welfare Check Lindholm /Townley (Birkdale Village) A female called 911 which was answered by NM Communications. She told them she needed police assistance and as the call was being transferred, she hung up the phone. Multiple attempts were made to make contact with her without success. Officers circulated Birkdale Village and did not locate anyone looking for the police.
