Every year our president is lending a SONA to inform the Filipino people about the improvements and their

projects for our country. It serves as the indicator weather our country is progressive or not. On the third SONA of President Noynoy Aquino III, he laid out his plans and achievements for our country .The plans of PNOY for our country benefits the Filipino people. He also solved the past problems of the Philippines .Let us see how our President had gone far in his present administration. SONA 2013 has highlight different aspects of the nation - economy, jobs, asset reform, education, sports, government and ethics, health and environment, tourism, justice, urban poor, issues in Mindanao, foreign affairs and national security. AFP organization has been improvised their equipment that they would use to protect our country .Housing plans for the needy according to our President has been already given since last year. PNOYs plan to create a connector between SLEX and NLEX that help us to travel easier has already its budget allotment and will be visible soon. In addition to that road improvement, our President planned also to 4-lane road and 14- elevated tollway for the benefit of many especially commuters and private owners of vehicles. The Philippines can now export rice to the different part of Asia that help us in progressing our country. Aquino also established a law that there is no more cash advances allow in government agencies. During his administration 18.4 billion budget for the DPWH was saved. Most of Filipinos are now member of Philhealth that give their needs for their health. DOST already developed their gears and improve their service for calamities and they become alert and prepare for the coming disaster in our country. Aquino wants to pass the bill named RH Bill or the Responsible Parenthoods for the progress of our country. Tugubao bridge which he promise to construct has now its budget for construction which previously cost 324 million but has lowed down and became 226 million. The President mentioned the fresh mandate from the people via domination of his senatorial candidates in May 2013 elections, the Bangsamoro peace framework, success of his Pantawid ng Pamilyang Pilipino Program, more TESDA scholars, housing program for informal settlers and the 7.8% GDP last year. He also hailed the passage of RH Law, Sin Tax Law, AFP Modernization Act and the K-12 Law. PNoy specifically lauded three police enforcers for their great acts that helps lift the image of the PNP, and also department secretaries Albert del Rosario of DFA, Armin Luistro of DepEd, Rogelio Singson of DPWH and the late Jesse Robredo of DILG for a well-done job. Inspite of these achievements our President has achieved, our countrymen especially those who are poor are asking when will they feel the true progress. These plans and achievements of PNOY must be supported and appreciated by the Filipinos. These can help the Philippines to improvement and it may be the step for changing our country. We Filipinos must respect and obey our president plans for the Philippines for us to be able to feel the true progress even slowly but surely.

The recent SONA (State of the Nation Address) by our President Noynoy Aquino has informed as about his drive to improve the nation and make transparency about the changes in our country for the 4 consecutive years. SONA 2013 has highlight different aspects of the nation - economy, jobs, asset reform, education, sports, government and ethics, health and environment, tourism, justice, urban poor, foreign affairs and national security. On his last SONA, PNoy received loud applause from the audience multiple times, which the loudest applause was when he gave a hint that he is supporting the RH Bill (Reproductive Health Bill), which he said he believes that its approval will help a lot to improve the countrys economy. The controversial RH Law, which is now being questioned at the high court for allotting billions for contraceptives despite the insufficient budget allotted to state hospitals. On the other hand, Malacanang is confident that the Reproductive Health (RH) Law could withstand legal questions and could be implemented soon. The sin tax measure, meanwhile, aims to generate state revenues by imposing higher taxes on tobacco and alcohol. We must support PNoys programs so that we can fully feel the trickling down of economic gains of his administration. And also, we must remain active in urging the him make true to his promise of curbing corruption that is consuming most of our governments coffers.
