Just a very short match programme this week as with all the cancellations only the Mens first team is playing today, and its away from Kelburn Park on our alternate pitch. Dont worry, the next programme with be a bumper one, we promise. Today we welcome Wainuiomata to the Wellington College artificial pitch. Its a rematch from the first game of the season when we came away with a 1-0 victory, thanks to a late goal from Calum Ross. It was a tough match, and Wainui had us under pressure at times in the match. That said, we did create goal-scoring opportunities and will lament not taking advantage of those. Their goal was disappointing from the perspective of our failure to put in a decent challenger on the header and even then, Sean got his fingertips to it but ultimately could not keep it out. But again our lads showed good spirit. Seatoun definitely had the better of the early part of the second half and yet it was during this period that we managed to carve out our equaliser. Venue: Seatoun Park (2.30pm kick-off, June 15, 2013) A very large Seatoun Park allowed plenty of space to move the ball and this was utilised by both sides in what was a very open and end-to -end contest.
