You don't need fancy highbrow traditions or money to really learn.

You just need people with the desire to better themselves, opined Adam Cooper and Bill Collage. The quote clearly highlights the true purpose of education and adds new dimensions to what being educated is all about. It is possible to store the mind with a million facts and still be entirely uneducated. Education does not mean mere book knowledge but also knowledge about people, their culture, sharing of information and this fulfils the meaning of betterment of people through education. MBA is one such program where a class is truly a small global village with students from various countries trying to learn from and share each other experiences, beliefs, and knowledge. As I much as I am eager to gain from the class, I think I would be able to contribute to the class equally on account of few traits that makes me unique. Passion for certain things bring about clarity on those. Numbers have been my passion and applying them to various facets of life has helped me understand the depth and breadth of its usage on a daily basis. The technology-bent world has made us more dependent on numbers and I realized that my fascination for solving complex problems both in mathematics and regular life has got more avenues now. A truly diverse classroom with students from different education backgrounds may have students who may not be comfortable with mathematics. With my mathematical expertise, I shall help such students in understanding mathematical concepts, the nuances of concepts and applying them to our daily life. I would be able to add objectivity to discussions that would happen in the class our out of it. With my work experience in XXX CORP, a company that defines the upcoming technology and the technology of the future, I will be able to bring to the class, the knowledge about technology and share my experiences. I have understood that organizations embrace change and technology to live beyond. Even XXX CORP has launched a series of initiatives that would make it remain among the top 100 corporations in the world. Such changes highlight the organizations willingness to adapt as well as utilize technology to serve the customers better. It takes a lot of courage to let go the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power. When new technology is embedded into business processes, it helps business to perform better, to have advanced growth and Im to share with my class the knowledge that I have gained about the same. With the advent of internet decades ago, the world shrank to the size of a global village. With newer and newer technology entering the world, business that could not have dreamed of expanding their capital across its nations let alone the world, is now able to operate in different geographic parts of the world. For a business to be successful, it needs to understand the culture, people and lifestyle of the country it is operating in. In 2001, the concept of BRIC was coined; it refers to the fast growing developing economies of Brazil, Russia, India, and China. These four countries are among the biggest and fastest growing emerging Markets. Being from India I can offer an insight into the diverse cultures that exist in India. I can bring an India perspective into classroom discussions which will be valuable. Help the students get a better understanding about Indian people and their lifestyle and efface the misconceptions about India.

Away from class, my interest ranges from cooking to dance and music. Tomatoes and oregano make it Italian; wine and tarragon make it French. Sour cream makes it Russian; lemon and cinnamon make it Greek. Soy sauce makes it Chinese; Spices make it Indian; garlic makes it good. In the world cuisine of Greek, Italian, French, Russian a dash of spice completes the universal flavor. Dance is the hidden language of the soul. Dance in India, is rooted in age-old tradition. This vast sub-continent has given birth to varied forms of dancing, each shaped by the influences of a particular period and environment. These pristine forms have been preserved through the centuries, to become a part of the present culture, a living heritage. Dance has always been my passion for it liberates me from worldly tension and transforms me to state of bliss. The music of India includes multiple varieties of folk, popular, pop and classical music which includes Carnatic and Hindustani music that has a history spanning millennia and, developed over several eras, it remains fundamental to the lives of Indians today as sources of religious inspiration, cultural expression and pure entertainment. Hailing from India, like a true host, I will bring into the class the authentic Indian cuisine which would enthrall my classmates and satisfy their taste buds as well. I will be able to bring an exposure to the students to a wide range of dances, from the ancient classical to modern styles and also classical music. I would be more than willing not only to entertain the class through the above skills but also ensure that theres never a dull moment. I had organized many technical symposiums, sports and cultural events both at school and college level that provided me a platform to prove my capability of not only managing people with lan but also managing the events with available financial resource under a given time period. To be classified as an all-rounder, means to excel in all fields. My academic proficiency instituted an all-rounder in me. Being an athlete and team player I have represented my school, college at various interschool, district and state level sports like throw ball, basket ball, field events, and track events and other extracurricular activities like dance, extempore, JAM (Just A minute), Dramatics and will continue to participate. It helped me in exhibiting my leadership skills, friendliness, and oratorical skills etc. My passion for extracurricular and sports has never diminished and I will continue to actively participate in many cultural events, personality development and leadership programs. With my good networking skills, I can be a bridge between the alumni and the students. Also after completion of my graduation and becoming an alumnus, I will maintain good relationship with the college-student body organization. I will be an active organizer of many events and also an active participant wherever needed Thus, to be mature means to face, and not evade, any crisis that accosts you. Maturity does not come with age or as we grow but is fully attained by the education we have and how much we have learnt from it and ready to implement in our lives. The MBA from ZZZ school is one such program which provides not only education but also an exposure to the global culture and better understanding of the same. And my contribution towards this purpose, albeit minuscule, I am sure will be efficacious.
