Photoshop Photoshop is a graphical program, which is used for photo editing, cover page designing, photo scanning and

giving different types of effects to the image. This program is developed by Adobe Corporation, USA. 1. To load Photoshop: Press start. Choose program. Click on Adobe Photoshop CS2. OR Press start. Go to Run menu.

Type PHOTOSHOP and then press Enter key. To get performing area(Layer) (Ctrl+N): Go to file menu. Choose new option. Then display a dialog box with such information about the Photoshop. Then we can choose default Photoshop option in the given criteria. Then click ok button. To open file (Ctrl+O) Go to file menu. Choose open option.

Then display a dialog box with different files/photos. Then choose required photo. Then press enter key. To save the file (Ctrl+S) Go to file menu. Choose save option. Then, display a dialog box with such information about the save command. Then, type file name. Again choose required photo format like (jpg/gif). Then, click save button.

For toolbox: Group one: 1. Marquee tool(M): It is a tool, which is used to select the required area of the image. 2. Move tool(V):- This tool is used to move the object. It places from one to another. 3. Lasso tool (L) :-This tool is used to select the different types of curve style in the required image. 4. Crop tool (C):- We can cut an image by using the crop tool. Go to toolbox. Choose crop tool. Go to image and crop it. Then, press enter.

5. Magic wand tool(W):- Its used to select an area of an image based on its color. By adjusting the tolerance range of your selection, you can control how large an area will be selected. Go to toolbox. Choose magic wand tool. Click any place of an image with shift or without shift. Then give the command which you want like cut, fill the color, etc. 6. Slice tool (K):We can create the links by using slice tool. Go to tool box.

Choose slice tool. Come back over the image. Drag the mouse tool where you want to slice the image. Then press enter key.
Group two The second group of tool is used to apply or manually manipulate color in an image. As you click and drag one of the tools over an image, the underlying pixels of an image will be changed, based on the options selected for that tool. Following tools are given below:1. Healing brush tool(J): This tool is useful for creating shadow and to highlight the image. 2. Brush tool(B): - This tool is used to paint the different types of style to an image. 3. Clone stamp tool(S):This tool copies the pixels in one part of an image for application in another part of an image, remove an unwanted portion or object or duplicate part of an image. Select image, which you want to create stamp. Click on clone stamp tool. Press alt key and click at any one place. Press down the mouse pointer and drag it. 4. History brush tool(Y): This tool is used to bring the old position in the required image, which painted by any one brush. 5. Eraser tool(E):The eraser tool either applies the background color or converts underlying pixels to full transparency. It is useful for refilling the edge of an image. 7. Gradient tool(G):The gradient tool creates a color from the foreground color to the background color within the selection or across the entire image. 8. Blur tool(R): The blur tool provides three options like blur, sharpen and smudge. Each alters the focus of a selected area of an image. 9. Dodge tool(O):The dodge tool provides three toning options dodge, burn and sponge. You can modify an image by increasing and decreasing light during exposure. Miscellaneous 1. Eyedropper tool:- this tool selects a new foreground color from an existing image. 2. Zoom tool:- this tool increase or decrease magnification of an image, allowing you to view an image at different sizes. 1. 2. Foreground color/Background color:-this tool represents the current colors selected for any foreground or background color applications. Switch color icon:- located in the upper-right corner, this icon is used to reverse the current foreground and background color.

To make liquid to the selected picture: First of all select the picture. Go to filter menu. Choose liquefy option. Then display a dialog box with different tools. Choose required tools to change the display to the selected picture.

Then use them according to requirements. Then click ok button or enter.
