These three journal articles describe action research studies conducted in classroom settings. Journal 1 describes a study conducted with 8th grade English students in Australia, Journal 2 details research with in-service mathematics teachers in Pakistan, and Journal 3 focuses on 9th grade English students. All three studies utilized common action research processes including planning, implementation, review, and analysis of data collected through methods such as observations, interviews and assessments. The journals differ in the specific research topics examined and participant populations involved, but share similarities in following basic action research methodology in educational settings.
