0845 0845 0900 Registration Opening Welcome Overview of the 2-day Wellness Programme Exercise Programme: Benefits of Exercise Objective: By the end of the session, the participant will know the importance of exercise to improve cardio vascular health and weight maintenance. Resistance Band Resistance bands are effective, low-cost fitness products designed for rehab and strength training. User progress is easily seen as progression through multiple band resistance colors. The creation of positive and negative muscle force during use also provides for coordinated muscle development. Each participant will be given a resistance band. 1045 1115 Tea Ergonomics Physiotherapist Objective: By the end of the session, the participant will know the basic principles of ergonomics and identify some ergonomic risks and simple injury prevention. Topics includes : 1. Common problems related to poor ergonomics 2. Posture 3. Office ergonomics 4. Exercise 5. 1400 Voice Care : Caring for the Professional Voice Lecture cum workshop Objective : Participants will learn proper voicing techniques, practicing good vocal hygiene and taking care of your general health. By the end of the session, the participant will know how to optimise vocal health and reduce risks of developing voice disorders. This session is designed to train professional voice users how to take care of their vocal mechanism. Good vocal hygiene and resonant voice quality will allow professionals with highly demanding vocal usage to optimize vocal health and reduce risks of developing voice disorders. Despite our best efforts, we sometimes injure our voice. This can often be a frightening experience because the voice is our main mode of communication. Furthermore, there are many voice professionals in the community that make a living from using their voices. Learn how to make sense of food labels, understand nutrition panels, make the right choices by knowing the fat content/kind of fat in foods, and learn about heart healthy food choices.

This is conducted in-house.
