GROUP TRAINING & CLASS DESCRIPTIONS


Power Hour Combo - This truly is a full-body fitness experience. Using dumb bells, you will develop your cardiovascular fitness through combinations of upper and lower body movements along with 25 minutes of cycling or cardio movements. This class will leave you feeling totally worked. Power Trainer - This high intensity power session is designed to define & tone your body. Using dumb bells, kettle bells, bands and balls you will be putting your body to the test. This class will end with 15 minutes of Piloga Powers. Also offered as part of our Lunch hour Express Groups Hot Wheels This 45 minute cycle class is full of great music and high energy. Also offered as part of our Lunch Hour Express Groups Ladies Night Out - Gather the ladies and spend 25 minutes cycling followed with 35 minutes of resistance training, abdominals and stretching. Get ready to work while having a blast. Zumba Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Thats exactly what the ZUMBA program is all about. Its an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow Latin-inspired, calorie burning dance fitness party. It will help you achieve your goals. Zumba Core - 60 minutes of Latin-inspired dance-fitness that is designed to strengthen your core and sculpt your abs. PILOXING Come and try the latest Hollywood fitness craze. This class uniquely blends the power, speed and agility of boxing with the beautiful sculpting and flexibility of Pilates. It is a fat torching, muscle sculpting, corecentric interval workout, guaranteed to whip you into shape. Cycle & Pilates Sculpt Get an adrenaline rush and pump up your body in this group. Through the combination of cycle drills and total body resistance training you will get a balanced strength and cardio workout. Piloga Powers - Piloga Powers is a conditioning routine that uses the foundations of Pilates & yoga to bring awareness to structural and muscular imbalances of the body. This class seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk Also offered as part of our Lunch Hour Express Groups Pilates sculpt Get the classic core and poster benefits of Pilates, with toning of your arms, legs and butt from strength exercises. Props such as weighted balls, bands and straps will be incorporated into the class. Couples Night Date night has taken on a whole new meaning. You and your partner will enjoy a night of cycle, weights and partner exercises. Lots of fun and laughs along with good hard work. 50 Shades of Fitness - 60 minutes, 50 exercises. This class will be nonstop for 60 minutes of Tabata style fitness. You will work from head to toe. County Circuit - The County Circuit combines cardio and strength moves that will blast fat and sculpt muscle. It can burn up to 10 calories a minute. The Ultimate Challenge Tabata Boot Camp The secret to a good boot camp is a workout that requires high energy this is why we have incorporated the Tabata training method. Our program uses bodyweight exercises such as squats, lunges, push-ups, crunches, planks, mountain climbers, or really any other bodyweight exercise we can think of. Circuit Fit Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular & muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper & Lower body strength work with hand-held weights, bands, and balls is alternated with non-impact aerobic movements. Fit & Fabulous This program has been created to fill a service gap for individuals 55+ looking for an exercise program that pushes them physically more than the average group fitness class but also provides the appropriate modifications required to address personal needs. This group is also great for beginners to fitness. OsteoFitness Strengthen & Stretch - Resistance training and body weight exercises are essential to stopping the progression of, or reversing the loss of bone mass. Register for this 60-minute resistance training program and begin your journey to building healthier bones and a healthier body. All individuals will benefit from this class. Moms & Tots Workout - This action-packed class includes a variety of innovative and fun warm ups that mom and baby enjoy together. The warm-up is followed by forty-five minutes of fitness that will vary week to week incorporating a large variety of fun, easy to follow fitness for Mom such as low impact, total body conditioning, yoga/pilates, step, etc. This program is led by a Pre/Post Natal Specialist & Certified Fitness Trainer. Heart Sense Fitness Program The Heart Sense Program is a group program focusing on prevention, post-rehabilitation and health maintenance. It is designed to help those who currently have or are at risk of having a chronic health condition. The goal of the Heart Sense Fitness Program is to improve their functional capacity and quality of life, reduce risk factors and to create a sense of well-being and optimism about their future. Health education, cardiovascular, resistance training and flexibility training are all part of this program. This is a designated program of Heart Wise created by the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in response to the overwhelming evidence supporting the concept exercise as medicine. PERSOANL TRAINING Private Personal Training - One of our Fitness Powers certified, experienced and motivating personal trainers will design an exercise and/or nutritional program for you to specifically meet your individual goal. Pre-screening of health history, prior injuries and any limitations are addressed during the program design. Programs generally include muscle strength, endurance, core stability balance training and flexibility. Post-rehab exercises that may be advisable from our health team of professionals are also included. Partner/Group Training - Strength training, core stabilization exercises, and stretching are twice the fun when you share it with someone. Our personal trainers will progress each of you at your own pace so that individuals with different levels of fitness will be challenged appropriately during their training sessions. Fitness goals, prior injuries and/or health considerations are all considered in the design of each training session. Private Yoga/Pilates Sessions - During each private session, your instructor will demonstrate the best practices in Pilates mat and equipment use, providing guidance and coaching to help you challenge yourself while maintaining physical safety. Whether you're new to Pilates or you've already been practicing for years, your sessions will be custom-tailored to meet your skill level, fitness goals, and personal preferences.
