The material was initially prepared as an article for the “Economic Journal” of RGGU, but on the
recommendation of the Head of Chair Prof. V.V. Minayev, it has been transformed into a
brochure (booklet), in which form it is published in Russian and English.

 Mankind is tired. The planet is rebelling. A specter is haunting, the
specter of catastrophe. We must not allow it by the re-birth of civilization, in
which man will be his own helper, his own and his Planet’s SAVIOUR. There
is no alternative.

1. Basic assumption

Nobelist Albert Camus (1957) has put forward the idea of the “re-birth of
civilization”. I have developed his light, certainly with the ideas that Camus did not
have. And another thing: it appears that Camus, putting forward his idea
proceeded from the general educational light without accenting the hopelessness of
mankind in connection with the fatal corruption of his civilization. I have
concretized the problem pointing out the the present dangers threatening mankind
and his home the planet Earth with a catastrophy in the near future. I suggest a
revision of the look of mankind upon itself, upon the civilization in which it is
dwelling and the role and place of man in it. I have developed the philosophy of
ownership. In the two latest books “Homo Liber” (M.,2011) and “Invitation of
Messiah” (M.,2012) I prove that mankind has lost its way in the State, economic
and spiritual verticals, which lead it to death, for the deprivation of its majority of
the sources of self-development cannot continue eternally: any living thing
receives resources from its ancestors for a certain, comparatively short period of
time. I am convinced that the majority of mankind has exhausted its parental
resource.

2. The Theory of the Problem

“Nature has created the methods of overcoming the gravitation, which

allow a snake to stream along a smooth trunk, a gecko – to sit upside down on
the ceiling, and crabs – to climb up upon palm-trees”; “Conquering the vertical

… animals – from worms to chimpanzees – drag their bodies upwards, not wishing
to be the slaves of the earth’s surface”2.

This check-list can be increased by the flies hanging on the ceiling of an

unsanitary room, clinging to one another in a layer of several centimeters thick.
Probably, the list is not limited by this. This fact speaks of the endless variety of
the self-developing material world. And man does not stand aside from this
process; due to his intellect and because of his natural inability to “stream” along a
vertically standing (in regard to horizontal) object, he compensates it by technical
means. Man tries to get to Mars, on which he will probably walk horizontally,
proceeding from his experience: now he climbs to the sky vertically in order to fly
in it horizontally. Hence, a vertical movement is an intermediate one-off
movement, which serves singularly to pass to horizontal movement on another
level of height according to the requirement of gravitation. So goes the world and
Nature.

And what about the socium as another form of Nature’s existence? It has its
own force of “gravitation” – the vertical of all sorts of power, beginning from
economic, continuing with spiritual and ending with the State vertical,
consolidating the first two and therefore especially dangerous for the human as a
species. They are all illegitimate and therefore temporary (intermediate) in the
general history of mankind. They are the consequence of the corruption of the
essence of civilization and the place and role of man in it.

Man’s existence is imperatively programmed to be the living world’s

investor, for, unlike the animal world, nothing is given to him ready-made by
Nature. In case of his being unable to be an investor, he finds himself in the
position of a speaking domestic animal living on what somebody gives him or
allows having it in exchange for his labour. The investment of man in his and his
society’s existence is directly possible only in case of his having some sources of
self-development. And what is this? According to Hegel’s dialectics all the things
in living Nature are “self-contradictive”; “contradiction is the root of all motion
and livingness: as long as something has a contradiction in itself, it moves; it has

impulse and activity”3. Contradictions are analyzed in philosophical works the
Marxist way – mostly from the point of view of struggle and contraposition of
parties. Among other things, Hegel, to my mind, when formulating his discovery,
did not mean the struggle of the components within an object (thing, phenomenon)
itself for the possession of the vertical), which is inexistent in reality, but the fact
that they, being horizontally positioned, internally connected, conjugating with one
another, animating one another make it as it is, i.e. provide its EXISTENCE
according to Einstein’s formula of Nature: in ‘inner perfection”. Without them it
does not exist.

Lenin has deciphered this formula of Hegel’s. It cannot be excluded, for he

is the only one in philosophy who understood the essence of Hegel’s dialectics
characterizing it as “self-motion and source of activity, motion of life and spirit”.
“Recognition of contradictive tendencies”, he writes, “in all the phenomena and
processes of Nature (including spirit and society) is the factor of the cognition of
all the world’s processes in their “self-motion”, which under a different approach
to the development of all and sundry, “self-motion, its locomotive force, its source
and its motive are left in the shade (or the source is transferred outside –God,
Subject, etc., whereas with the cognition of contradictive tendencies in them “the
chief attention is focussed on the cognition of the source of “self-motion”).4
Applied to all living things, both in natural and social matters that means a
spontaneous motion, creation in all its endless variety, which is impossible to be
created by a Something (even this singular property of matter excludes the
existence of God); as for man, he appears to be a self-developing subject on
condition there is no negative intrusion into his potencies.

Hegel’s great discovery in the science of Logics about the self contradiction
as the root of any motion and livingness is the TRUTH, which as is known, is only
one. The non-cognition and non-recognition of it is fatal for any doing (object,
phenomenon). I will specially emphasize: in this case the TRUTH is in the centre

of our attention, the truth of all truths, because it expresses the very essence of the
existence of all things, and its negation –their non-existence. All the teachings
about Communism, for example, which are not interested in the problems of the
sources of its self-development are not scientific – they are not true: the truth is
that Communism as a viable system cannot exist in reality. So, here lies the root
reason of the collapse of Soviet Communism, but not in the tactical errors of
managerial or staff character as some “social scientists” are still trying to prove.

The greatest merit of Lenin is that he spread that discovery of Hegl’s on the
cognition of the source of development of everything, excluding the supernaturally-
mystical God from it.5, which, I suspect, is treated by modern Orthodox church as
a great sin before it.

Even by this Lenin has made his name immortal, having blocked all the ways
of speculative searches for a society in which a man on the Planet Earth can be
happy being deprived of the sources of self-development.

Nature and History have endowed man with Intellect as a primary source of
his self-development – I call it “internal source”, and Property, which I call
“external source”. Investments are possible in two forms: the first form is inherited
from ancestors as man himself and his own health: the second one is by material
wealth (capital). Today, the absolute majority of mankind, deprived of a material
source of self-development (property as capital) has to be limited to the first form
of investment.

The Hegel – Lenin idea - the TRUTH of TRUTHS concerning the cognition
of the world, creation, man and his society is focused mainly on the cognition of

affirmed the principle according to which it is not obligatory to understand the postulates of
faith, but you must BELIEVE them!!! Even if they are full absurdity!

the sources of their “self-motion”!!! The attitude to them both in our literature and
even in public conscience, particularly to Vladimir Ilyich Lenin is not just
ambiguous – it is definitely negative, the latter being accused of all disasters in
Russia. The TV channel “Dozhd”, though, is trying to begin the rehabilitation of
Lenin, but only from the point of view of the actuality of his teaching and his being
the leader of of the revolution. But I proceed from the fact that the scientific and
cultural heritage of an author, whoever he is – is the heritage of mankind and it
deserves an adequate attitude in spite of his guilt. And Ilyich will go down in
history not only in the negative, but also as one who disclosed the secret of human
existence and thus helped man and his tenement to leave the track leading to Non-
existence. And it costs much, the more so that Lenin had come to positive through
negative: his revolutionary experience is a warning to those who are nostalgic for a
“socialist” revolution that has no future.

The incomprehension that a society can only be viable when it has natural
internal contradictions, compels the powers of a totalitarian (authoritarian) state to
create as a consolidating factor some artificial external contradictions
(oppositions), which are pushed forward: they initiate all kinds of internal and
external wars with everyone. In the USSR and present-day Russia a substitution
has taken place of natural-social sources of self-development of man (society), his
self-organization and self-regulation by all-round state patronage and artificially
created oppositions – a destructive struggle of the nation against itself and against
other nations on the world scale.

Happiness does not lie in the struggle in which the question “to be or not to
be” for one of the struggling parties is answered. It lies in a normal, positively
creative everyday life, in the cooperation of people and social groups, where the
question is answered “to be for all, today and tomorrow”. Today Russia is
agonizing in her expectation of a miracle. The chief trouble of Russia consists not
in ignorance, but in a false knowledge confirmed in the conscience of the ruling
class (bureaucracy) by the hierarchs of orthodoxy. The problem of problems is
how to overcome the chief trouble of the Russian people. The bureaucratic system
is like a swamp, the elimination of which is only possible by draining. But it
cannot drain itself, it is corrupted from top to bottom, and the people are depressed

by it. The march of Russia to death, which has been going on for three centuries
cannot probably be stopped.

The country is ruled by dwarfish lawyers who are proud of restoring the
desintegrating state by the “vertical of power”. It is not given to them to understand
(obviously they did not study the theory of the State and Law seriously), that the
vertical of power is an essential part of a feudal state in general and to a greater
extent – of an imperial one. As a matter of fact it is a gift from the shamefully
collapsed Byzantine, by whose heritage Russia lives.

3. Unity of Mankind.

Mankind is unitary by definition. Due to natural and some other reasons the
regions develop irregularly. Nevertheless all of them develop in one direction - in
the long run, to progress. Russia, for example, having fallen behind with her
bourgeois-capitalist reforms by the efforts of Peter I, attempted to transform
technically the European way, remaining socially a feudal state. Then, remaining
largely the same after the reforms of 1861, repeated this attempt by the three
revolutions of the beginning of the 20th century. The third, October (in
historiography – “socialist”) revolution was in fact a bourgeois-democratic
revolution in the first stage, headed, according to Lenin, by Bolshevik “agents”. On
its second stage (summer-autumn, 1918) Russia tried to rush forward to progress
by the alleged “socialist” revolution. In fact it became a counter-revolution that
crossed out all the democratic gains of the first stage, and the country moved back
to totalitarian feudalism, practically with serfdom. Having created a state with a
population fully deprived of the source of self-development, Russia tried at the end

of the 20th century to repair the situation by perestroika. But Communist
bureaucracy does not accept democratic changes. In spite of all changes in society,
bureaucracy never changed in essence, only one clan was changed by another:
tsarist bureaucracy was changed by bourgeois, bourgeois by communist
nomenclature, and the last one was changed by the clan of secret service men, who
are now in power. The last clan, shutting down the democratic euphoria of the
masses, by its power vertical returned the country to the mediaeval feudal
ecclesiastic state. Unfortunately, as long as there is need in governing (power) of
man over man, and it is absolutely unavoidable in Russia, for the majority of the
population is deprived of the property that could give him independence, state
power can exist without separation of powers. The demos (middle class) in this
country are represented by a miserable minority incapable of becoming the basis of
democracy. Passing through all forms of slave-owning, Russia cannot part with its
last form – hired labour. The dependent position of the majority of the people
allows its minority, representing the state, “to rule the ball”, impose its
administration on the society and throw it two centuries back in its development.

However, the tendency to the unification of the direction, in which mankind

develops, is inevitable, for it is a movement to the TRUTH. But in the world there
exists a powerful well organized terrible force with a longstanding experience of
executions and Jesuitism – religion, represented by different confessions, each of
which prospering on speculations of its primogeniture in the relations with “God”.
This force, counteracting the enlightenment of masses, hinders the unification of
mankind, making the peoples fight with each other6, subjecting the politics and

 If the predicted “clash of civilizations” takes place, it will be so due to inter-
confessional contradictions, for example, between the Christian and Moslem
worlds, each of which trying to affirm its dominant on the global scale. It is a
force parasiting on the body of mankind, living on donations and therefore
immeasurably mercenary. Orthodox Church killed Byzantine, Serbia and is now
finishing Russia with Greece. There is not a single prospering nation, practicing
Orthodoxy. Church is hindering the enlightenment of the people in every possible
way and is trying to exclude its best sons from history. In a most abominable way
such an attitude manifested itself in the fact of subjecting to anathema of Leo
Tolstoy, the greatest son of mankind. The whole world honors him, publishing and
republishing his books, creating films after his books – about him, too, and holding
scientific conferences dedicated to the study of his heritage. Mankind considers
him to be its own property although he was born by the people who allowed
jeering at him when he was alive and deriding his memory after his death. The
Russian Government ignored the centenary of his death (2010). The Tandem did
not say a single word in his memory. It was all to the good, because it was a
correct inaction: they did not desecrate his memory with their pharisaic words
dictated by false motives (The Russian saying goes: “There was no good luck, but
bad luck helped”). The giant of thought and voicer of people’s sorrow will never
be forgotten, his glory is eternal! (They did not condescend to mention another
Great Russian man in connection with his 200th Anniversary (2011) – Vissarion
Belinskiy. He was also disfavored by Church, being its great critic.

The problem of the unity of mankind is connected with the development of

civilization. In modern literature the notion of civilization is linked with a certain
stage of the development of society and its material and spiritual culture. There are

such civilizations as antique, perished and modern, including Western, Eastern,
Northern, Southern, Christian (within it: Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox), Moslem,
Buddhist, Shinto, and others. There are 21 civilizations in all (A. Toynbee).

In modern view, civilizations are generally divided into traditionalist and

technogenic types, differing in all the parameters and directions of human life
activities. The difference, though, is washed out by the turbulent process of
technical-technological modernization in the societies of the first type. Hence, the
development of civilization is based on technical development, evidently,
according to Marx’s thesis of the priority of the development of productive forces
in social progress7. But in fact, the source of the development of society consists in
the movement of property and relations connected with ownership. The changes in
those relations entail the changes in all spheres of the life of society, in the first
place, in productive forces and in the political system (progress – regress of both).

The very names of those civilizations speak of the differences between

separate parts of mankind and their ways of living, material and spiritual culture,
i.e. what divides mankind into parts, potentially opposing each other. But is it not
more important for the people of the world, in which each man is biologically
connected with another irrespective of his location, the factor that unites them
socially into one whole with the principle of the primogeniture and seniority of him
who is better, including a progressive development of everybody and excluding the
division of people into the “sons” and “stepsons” of this world? And in this
connection, the civilized reality, in which mankind dwells should be called its own
name. The name, corresponding to the material and spiritual culture in which
mankind has been living from times immemorial is “a civilization of owners”,
dominating in the world in spite of the differences in the distribution of property
among social groups in different countries.

The secret of man’s existence in the “civilization of owners” in which

the connection of man with a property is exercised not only for his survival,
but also for his development as a demiurge, and, Goethe way – “demi-god”.
Man is an animal, but…. The main difference between man and the rest of the

animal world is that man, who was not given ready-made means of life, had to
have an intellect to create production - the second Nature. From that moment that
kind of animal began to turn into a human, whose existence and further
development was going on in a socium being controlled not so much by the law of
natural selection, but by the law of social selection.

Man is doomed to live in a world, which is built on deprivation and in which

there is no absolute fullness of amenities.8 In society, a competitive habitat is
inevitably formed. Overcoming the Nature’s (first, main) “injustice” and trying to
avoid chaos in the common house, man resorts to the category of ownership, which
becomes dominant in the world. It is one of the categories in which man began to
comprehend the world.

Ownership in man as a subject and in his life activity is essential. Separation

of man from ownership means an encroachment on his social-human nature and a
risk of dehumanizing him.

Painful as it is, but it must be recognized: from times immemorial mankind

has been ill with beastliness, and it is not evidently going to do away with it. In the
most prospering countries, which are very few now, no less than one third of the
society is in this (slavish-beastly) hypostasis. And the reason of it is objective, with
which the wikedly reasonable mankind is reconciled. It is remarkable, that it
prefers not to discuss this problem (connection between the absence of ownership
and the transition to beastliness).

The civilization of owners was born in equal (horizontally!) for all people
natural and social conditions, which did not prevent the differences in the level of
opulence among the members of society that appeared with time. Those
differences in many factors, the chief of which was profit, led to the formation of
classes. The civilization of owners was formed in an elite form – the civilization of

 This corruption of civilization is camouflaged by an endless multitude of
definitions about civilizations, emphasizing at the same time the differences of
nations from one another by fundamental features, principles of life activities and
ways of living.

It is surprising that the term “civilization of owners” is practically not used

in conversational practice, nor is it used in science. I came across this term in the
article under the title “Civilization of Owners” by Candidate of Philosophical
Sciences, Dotsent of RGGU, the late V. Bibler. At the beginning of perestroyka he
wrote about the necessity of “orientation to special civilization – civilization of
owners, characteristic of the modern … western world, including such a “west” as
Japan and Singapore…”. According to the author, this civilization is based on the
economy of private property, providing the conditions for the depelopment of a
personality; he speaks about the complexities of psychological character of the
transition to this type of civilization in our country. “The trouble is”, he wrote,
“that our spirituality has not gone through a serious school of fundamental
Cartesian doubt – that primordial cell of bourgeois civilization in the sphere of
culture. Vladimir Solomonovich wrote about the difficulties, arising from that
civilization, but he prophetically warned: “The antithesis of this strange and
uncosy civilization is nothing; it is chaos and death”9. That is, according to the
author, out of the existing civilisations, the best for a better life is a society of
owners.

Why is the name of the civilization, in which mankind is living, not even
mentioned either in science or in politics? Probably, because of philosophical
illiteracy of mankind. We cannot also exclude an obvious and understandable
reason: the purpose of the ruling classes and clericals is to distract the attention of
the oppressed classes from reality into an inexistent after-life with the belief in the
“saviour” who has established the present way of life, which cannot be changed,

4. Inequality in Human society

In public opinion that has taken root, the fundamental reason of people’s
everlasting ill-being is the consequence of God’s punishment or the grudging and
greed of the rich. The last takes place, of course. But it is secondary. The primary
reason is the present discord in people’s community among its members – the
second injustice of Nature to man. It entails a kind of natural enaquality among
them, for example, sexual, and with time – inequality in property autonomy;
people were divided into the rich and the poor. It was not brought from heaven by
an unknown Something appointing for some to be rich and for the others poor, as
priests of all religions have been binding for thousands of years without even
trying to prove anything.

As a matter of fact, as has been said above, man is doomed to live in a world
of hardships. This circumstance is general – it is equally negative for all people.
The intention of every man to be “here and now” and develop (to be in the future)
in interaction with realities is connected with his abilities (inabilities), which are
utterly individual. People are all different: in sex, age, health, physical and
psychical power, intellect, etc. Doomed to live in conditions of deprivations,
generating competitive surroundings (market), generating, in their turn private
property, by virtue of the individual characteristics mentioned above, people
acquire living facilities according to their abilities: someone – for survival, and
someone – for the development of himself and yps society. The social
contradiction among people is quasi programmed.

 I lay special emphasis on this thought which fully corresponds to the present
realities. Not in order to put up with the inevitability of pauperization of some
categories of people, but on the contrary – to overcome this objective circumstance
of subjective quality by measures of reasonable society, recognizing the
deprivation of somebody of the sources of self-development to be immoral,
specifically according to their physical or intellectual level. Class struggle
inevitably leads to revolutions against the rich, and as a result, the majority of
the society becomes still poorer, a small group – immeasurably rich, “sitting on
bayonets”, and all together – on a social “powder keg”. All that leads to wars of all
levels: civil, inter-ethnic and inter-state, which grow into the world slaughters of
peoples. But something different must be chosen, something that gives well-being
to all people.

So, I will repeat myself: the external sourse of self-development (for the
majority of people it would be more correct to say – “survival”) is obtained by
man in competitive struggle in human community, which is immeasurably
disharmonious both intellectually and physically. Due to this reason in the
community of people, each man can obtain (produce) means of survival according
to his abilities.

5. Way out of the Dedlock.

In the book “Homo Liber” I am trying to continue the passage from delusion
to the search of the truth, started by the nobelist (1957) Albert Camus (“Human
Rebellious”). In it, my concept of co-ownership of citizens in the national wealth is
completed, and in the following one – in the world’s wealth on the whole. The
main thesis is: ownership is not something that forms the classes of capitalists
and proletarians, as it is traditionally asserted in our social science, but an
absolutely necessary attribute of man as such, human in all his existence;
without them he is turned by the powers and the rich into a sort of domestic
animal, in which status is the overwhelming majority of mankind and
practically all Russian people. Ownership, causing competitive activity, which
results in the quantitative-qualitative rise of wealth, provides man as a species
with survival and development. Accordingly with development for society.

 Most convincingly the process of negative development manifested itself in
the attempt of “socialist” construction by the proletarian state headed by Lenin
(most unfortunately, it was an experience badly investigated and therefore, to
everybody’s trouble, not taken into account in the following development of the
USSR, nor in the present-day Russia). It is known that in 1914 Lenin understood
Hegel’s idea of internal contradiction as the root of all livingness. But he guided
the people to the revolution for the sake of the dictatorship of the proletariat, that
had no internal contradiction generating a source of self-development and therefore
able to survive only for a short time, provoking external contradictions under this
or that “flag” up to seeking enemies in its own ranks. I explained it by his
enthrallment in Marxism. Besides, the revolution was in fact going on in this
country, being nationwide (peasants’ revolution). Most likely, Lenin, as if using a
“cliché”(!), counted on a Communist State governed by him10. For the whole
history of Russia, her growth and development, although it did not always go in the
right way because of its social backwardness, owed itself to the State and
Government called very wittingly by one of Russia’s outstanding sons “the only
European” (in Russia!). It was a monarchic and bureaucratic Government, though,
under which some classes existed with sources of self-development, although in
confined conditions: peasantry, middle class, and the class of bourgeosie which
was forming within them. When he understood that the proletarian state, deprived
of any class with the source of self-development capaple of control over the
bureaucratic nucleus of state power, would perish from bureaucracy, he changed
his policy by introducing NEP (New Economic Policy). He proved it without using
the philosophical language, but in the language understandable to the population of
Russia. For the philosophical language he had neither health nor time, nor probably
enough knowledge formed and checked by practice. Besides, the atmosphere of the
civil war and total starvation did not allow any philosophical discussions, which
would definitely have arisen if Lenin had at least hinted about a philosophical
grounding of the transition to the new policy. Due to our ignorance, we are
inclined to argue any point with one another, and the arguments are won by

“Lysenkos”, who fill all the state and near-power “troughs” for their noadies who
are loyal to the state power. I do not think he forgot about the conclusions he came
to when studying the “Science of Logics” of Hegel. Dialectics was his true, and
maybe, the only ally, for even the people surrounding him (in which there were
rather remarcable persons according to the Russian proverb: “As is the priest, so is
his curacy”) infrequently understood him with difficulty. It was the knowledge of
dialectics as a science that prompted him to turn from military communism to
NEP. That is my opinion11.

The basis of the above-mentioned (my!) concept is the philosophy

(dialectics) of the sources of self-development (self-sufficiency) of man. Its
realization would rid mankind of endless wars, crises, unemployment, the
permanent dependence of women and many professionals of science and art, who
are necessary to mankind, but who are living in poverty. The concept was
developed for Russia. In the book, 5 reasons were given for which Russia was
chosen the first to put it into practice. In spite of the fact that her people was
mainly represented by the proletarians of physical and intellectual labour, it is
known that they are deprived of the external source of self-development. The
people are economically invalid, therefore politicaly incapacitated. Nevertheless, I
think, that the problem of overcoming the process of turning mankind into beasts
must be started with Russia. Why? In the first place, because she, being a European
country lags behind Europe in all parameters. We feel ashamed. And not only we,
but also the world civilization, and it is threatenengly dangerous. In the second
place, more than half of the national wealth is in the hands of the state, and the rest

of it – in the hands of the criminals (oligarchs and mafia), therefore, the wealth can
be easily (technically) transferred to the people with the mechanism excluding the
vicious circulation of the enrichment of the minority by the ruin of the majority. In
the third place, because of the state’s priority as national wealth in the people’s
mentality and the concept can only be realized by the state; there is no other force,
that can do it; and it will not meet any stiff resistance. In the fourth, the messianic
idea has been very deeply rooted through the ages in people’s minds; to be an
example for the whole mankind has been a cherished dream of every Russian; the
suggested concept is for him, so, as they say, “Full steam ahead”! In the fifth, the
heavy Russian historical burden (victories and defeats were always carried out on
the shoulders of “Captain Tushins’. Nobody could ever manage to make use of
them. And they are not in the minority yet. That is the mystery of good old Russia,
and it is also her bare truth. And the “bareness” of the truth seems to be in the
following: “Captain Tushins”, having put up with their life, take realities as they
are, neither complaining of their fate, but agreeing with it: “What has happened has
happened”. According to A, Herzen, “a slave has the least selfishness in him”,
therefore he keeps up his present existence with all his might, taking all his
misfortunes without weeping or knocking his chest. Moreover, he recognizes his
country as his fatherland being himself in a slavish state (as is generally known, a
slave has no fatherland). That is why the deterioration of the situation is going on
slowly. The world outlook of “Captain Tushins” is typical of an average Russian,
typical of the majority of the Russian people, with common sense and Orthodox
Christian (according to Konchalovski, the Orthodoxy today is on the level of the
5th century). Orthodoxy, as I have written above, being the most conservative
branch of Christianity, hinders the development of the Russian people; it guards
and keeps safe the feudal level of the organization of its economy and state,
standing in the way of its national development: Russians are atomized people, not
connected with one another economically; they are disunited people, but not a
nation and therefore easily parting with millions of their countrymen who have
been incessantly leaving their country for centuries – due both to death and
emigration. So, the “bare truth” of the Russian people consists in the fact that, that
Russia has been kept in the backward state during all her history, claiming at the
same time her decisive participation in world politics. Development fails. In the

long run it is a backward movement. Such a Russia has no future. To bring the
state elite, as well as the majority of the people to reason is an impossible thing. It
requires a mighty intellect of Lenin type, which is not in existence now; they
probably come into the world no oftener than once in a thousand years.

“Captain Tushins”… They are likely more in the past than in the present…
This gift of History, like the physical gifts of nature has been used up by the State
and is being used up rather carelessly, in a predacious way. By the way, the people,
with its natural sense of self-esteem began to think of the “price of victories”, of
which it has had a lot in its history, and the fruit of them were given not to the
people, but to bureaucracy growing in number every hour. All the depressing
things can in the long run induce “Captain Tushins” to do something sensible on
the way to their liberation according to the proverb: “It takes a long time for a
Russian man to harness, but he rides fast”.

There is also the 6th reason, and it may be the most important one: it has
twice initiated successfully the activity of part of society for the realization of the
source of self-development of man: NEP and the “shuttle” movement of bargainers
at the beginning of Perestroika. A third experience seems to be inevitable
according to the Russian historical rule and the formula: “God loves the Trinity”. It
would only be logical. But, according to the definition of the outstanding Russian
religious philosopher N.A. Berdyaev, Russia is a country of Woman’s element –
she is like a bride in expectation of her bridegroom. Not infrequently, such
“bridegrooms” were outsiders who did not much speak Russian and treated their
Russian subjects accordingly. In our masculine estimation, one of the essential
traits of a woman’s nature is the absence of logic (evidently, our masculine logic!).
Indeed, let us turn to the history of the expansion of the Russian territory by this or
that means. They seized half the world, populating the two parts of the world, but
they have not developed the seized territories properly (till now!); they encouraged
the mixing of their title people with other ethnic groups (on their territories). That
resulted in the fact that in a number of cases they became second-class citizens or
non-citizens of the newly-formed states when those territories fell from Russia.
And it is question of tens of millions of Russians or Russian-speaking people, who
would be very useful for the development of the age-old virgin lands. At least now!

Such an illogical absurdity! The ruling bureaucracy is not likely to make an
exception from the general tradition in our case and start solving the problem of
the sources of self-development of masses. Today Russia is agonizing in
expectation of a miracle. With the vertical of power this miracle can manifest
itself in the ugliest way. The time is not far away when Kuban, for example, with
some chieftain at the head and his Cossacks will try to separate from Russia. It will
be followed by the Don Region, Orenburg Region, etc., etc. Russia will
disintegrate, only Muscovy will be left (by the way, it is not exactly Russia
nowadays!). In order to preserve Russia, at least in today’s reduced form, the
country must be immediately complete with market economy, tying the regions
and citizens together by horizontal bonds of private property relations. Politically,
being in fact a unitary, feudal-vertical Russia, she should be turned into a
Federation (Confederation) of national-cultural autonomies (including Russian
autonomies) with their own budgets, parliaments, judicial and local powers, whose
prerogative will be all the internal affairs of the regions, leaving all the questions of
defense and diplomacy to the centre. The sooner it will be implemented, the better
chance will Russia have to remain on the political map of the world (if Russia were
like that, it would not have disintegrated). And the peoples living under the
protection of the Russian State will finally turn into nations and will be mature
enough for national development; they will also stop decreasing quantitatively and
begin to fill the nations, which, unlike us, do not suffer demographically; they will
also improve in quality.

We need to change the state from autocratic to democratic, because

without it, no essential changes are possible or vital. The evidence to that are
the consequences of the modernizations – Peter the Great’s and Bolsheviks’,
which ended not only in the collapse of the two Russian Empires with the
victims of millions of people, but also by not overcoming the century’s
backwardness practically in all parameters. And the present-day Putin –
Medvedev modernization will end up in the same way, or something terrible
may happen. Endless victimization of the people cannot end well!

 The situation of the country is a deadlock, unless the life of the people is
quickly changed. The change consists in giving the sources of self-development to
everybody and using them. Our disappearance from the ethnic map of the world
will not make us wait long for it. Some more details about it are given by Nicholas
Eberstadt – an American economist and demographer, the author of seventeen
books; during the last thirty-five years he has been trying to find an answer to the
question: why the people of the Russian Federation die in such quantities and with
a speed with which no other population has ever died in the time of peace. With
each generation life of the Russian people becomes shorter, although it is supposed
to grow. In an interview, when asked about the comparison of Russia with the
countries of the Third world, he said: “To compare them with Russia would mean
to offend them; according to the statistics (ВОЗ) (2006), the length of life in Russia
is lower than in Bangladesh, Kampuchea or Yemen; “Today the expected lifetime
of a fifteen-year old boy in Russia is shorter than in Somalia”; “the expected life-
time of a Muscovite is shorter than that of the inhabitant of Calcutta”. He is trying
to find the reasons of that: Russia occupies 101 place out of 141 in “economic
freedoms”, 147th out of 180 in the “perception of corruption” – the people are
silent, the “Russian Administration may ignore this theme…according to one
investigation the most unhappy peoples of the world are the citizens of Russia and
Zimbabwe. “I think”, he says, it explains at least part of the enigma12. Eberstadt
summarizes: Russia will become one of the under-populated and unhealthy regions
of the world”. There is the latest confirmation in the Internet: the infant death-rates
(to 1000 newly-born) are as follows: Great Britain-4.0, France-4.1, Germany-3.5,
Poland-5.0, Lithuania-4.3, Latvia-5.7, Russia-7.5; In Russia today there are 59
abortions to 100 births.

I join the conclusion of the quoted author. A people cannot be happy if it is

deprived completely of the sources of development and is proceeding with an
outstretched hand, on which the powers sometimes put the left-overs from the
satisfaction of their and their valetry’s crapulence. Therefore, it is in depression,
and it does not want to leave a posterity (multiply unhappy people), and it does not
like to live (“life is worthless”). Power in this country is antinational and anti-

Russian. In fact, there is genocide in Russia. Judging by the activities of the
former permanent representative of Russia in NATO, whose role is played by the
most militant militarist D. Rogozin (evidently, the most consistent follower of
Putin, at present – Vice – Premier of the Government on military affairs) his open
propaganda of militarization of the country (his speech on the radio “Echo” of
Moscow of Oct. 22, 2011), we are being involved for a second time in a cold war,
competing with the United States and their allies in the equipment of the Army.
One defeat of the USSR in a cold war has not been enough. Instead of taking
advantage of the moment of total absence of enemies of the country and solving
the urgent problems, the country’s administration (Putin) sets the task of
organizing a breakthrough in the military spheres equal to that of the 39s in the
Soviet days (It would be good to recall Lenin’s (not Stalin’s) experience: at the end
of the Civil War he reduced the Army several times, although the Soviets were in a
TOTALLY hostile surrounding).

The danger of the situation does not only lie in mankind itself, nor is it in the
lack of its intellectual gains: the social-economic problems are increasingly
aggravating, and their incompetent solutions by the powers resemble boiling or
pounding snow. Deadly weapons are being produced, including bacteria which
may cause death. No better are things in its home – the Planet Earth with the
catastrophic tsunamis and earthquakes, against which it cannot do anything
essential (and probably does not much want to), to say nothing of the unpredictable
and aggressive (lightening, meteors) behavior of the Space13. The mentioned
problems require the maximal attention of investigators. Iit is high time to abandon
the trodden path of thinking, in which man-object, mercenarily patronized by the
powers together with the clergy representing the inexistent god and go on the road
where he is SUBJECT-DEMIURGE, who creates and patronizes all and sundry -
all that is necessary for his own self. It seems to me that now MAN is approaching
the MOMENT OF TRUTH with “god” within himself, in his sense of the world!

His symptoms are the awakening peoples whose historical development stopped in
the ages.

6. Intellectual breakthrough

Mankind has not been able to give an answer to a single challenge of Nature
and History of global level. To some extent it could reduce harm, but could not
solve the problem. And religions deluded mankind to such an extent that it did not
even try to answer, considering them divine (untouchable!). It appears that intellect
is given to man to live in this creation in misery, dependence, with outstretched
hand and appeals to the powers that be and the inexistent Something called “God”.

Apparently, man is still sub-man, and he has not yet disengaged from the
rest of the animal world, separating from it only by his ability to speak, understand
and feel his plight, but not to control the conditions of his existence and exclude
everything that makes him a beast, up to cannibalism. Intellectuals have achieved
much to facilitate labor, investigating Nature and Technology closely associated
with it. But the situation is bad with the sociological activities of intellectuals.
There are great achievements in the theories of wars of all hypostases, social
revolutions, propaganda, art, literature, etc. But mankind does not know in what
civilization it lives, and what civilization should be created for the sake of eternal
LIFE on the Earth.

Science about man and his society, guided by class-religious methodology of

the cognition of the world, of man and the foundations of his existence, is now
changing to the democratic panhuman secular methodology of the cognition of the
world, of biological man (speaking and thinking animal) and a social man (man as
such) and his way of life. The purpose is to create conditions for building a society,
in which every man would be intellectual, and the development of his intellect
would be equal to his health protection. Today mankind is unhealthy and, not so
much because of the presence of all kinds of diseases in every person, both genetic
and acquired ones, but because of intellectual misery. It can be very well seen in
the false knowledge, superstitions, belief in a non-existent god, demons, etc., in the
low level of morality. It is in this quality that the majority of mankind is living,

doing harm to the Earth, the Space more than the unconscious animal world.
Worse than that: man, having penetrated into the depth of physical and biological
matter, has created everything for the elimination of life and the Earth itself. He
perverted his own civilization to such an extent that he cannot tear himself
completely from the rest of the animal world by ripening to the level of man-
demiurge.

I do not exclude the possibility of mankind being late for turning its
civilization to the democratic way of development. As an example of such lateness
I take the present-day situation in Russia. Populated by European peoples on a
huge territory of two parts of the world, having given the world an example of
territorial, linguistic and cultural intermixture of peoples, she could not come out
of the feudal way of life, its foundations, having consolidated it by the vertical of
power of the state bureaucracy. The age-old claim of exclusiveness in the way of
living has led to such backwardness in everything, especially from the standards of
world economy, which will hardly be overcome by the present integration into the
World Trade Organization. The “train has left” and it left long ago. To achieve
elementary competitiveness in world economy, the measures will be required that
are not socially acceptable. The country has found herself in the position of a
hapless duck in a swamp, which tries to get out of it, but taking out by great effort
its head, it gets deeper with its tail, and taking it out, it gets bogged down with its
head, and does so to the end of its life.

Earlier (before perestroika) Russian power claimed world supremacy, and

now – participation in world affairs on equal terms with the United States and
Western Europe. It tries by supporting reactionary regimes and great expenses on
armaments to “keep its (super-power) head above water”. There is a very wise
Russian proverb about this type of people – it sounds utterly rude in Russian, but
its English equivalent is rather neutral: “He wants to eat the cake and have it”.
Nobody has ever managed to do it. In such aspirations, the USSR lost half of the
country. The remains of Russia may tell the other states (those that have survived)
“to live long”.

In the meantime our nearest neighbor, the European Union has united the
peoples that have started solving the problem of the sources of their self-

development. Cooperation of the peoples began in very important spheres of life,
and though they have not reached the social-economic sphere yet, they have not
missed the financial sphere. And, what is most important to us, the European
Union is trying to organize itself politically on the basis of federalism, which will
sooner or later become federalism of national-cultural autonomies because it is
impossible to stop the intermixture of nationalities. Success in this direction would
inevitably set an example to everybody. Russia, losing the moment of political
construction on the named principles, disintegrated (partly), and there is no sense
in waiting for her next (final!) disintegration.

Mankind has lost its way. Probably, only some parts of it, like Russia, for
instance (and the like!). Once, and for all! The world-famous artist, our country-
man Mikhail Shemyakin living in France now, says with bitterness: “The saddest
thing in Russian life for me today is the absence of faith in anything good and
bright; people are living mechanically, as if they were not on their own planet.
Earlier we lived under Communists, and now we are living under oligarchs and
security and police forces. Nothing has changed: as Russians were rightless before,
so they are rightless now. Why should they do anything good?

Now, every day you pronounce like incantation the words about the struggle
against corruption. But in reality there is no struggle at all, only a show”14.

“And still, and still, I will say to you, before I go”, those were the words
from a song of our unforgettable singer of Russian sorrow and…. Who knows?
Maybe, of our Russian joy… some day….

The salvation of mankind. Its eternal stay on the Earth is possible. But only,
if the intellect of every man is mobilized. The multi-billion intellect will solve all
of its problems, and their solution lies in the golden deposit of the Universal

wisdom, but not in the artificial false truths told by all kinds of teachings and
religions. The great Chinese thinker Confucius remarked: “I impart, not create; I
believe in antiquity and love it”15. I think that this maxim is directly connected
with Universal wisdom, obtained from historical experience. There is no need to
invent different projects of the transformation of society or the world in general,
which are not based on what has already been affirmed in life or existed at one
time but was rejected, as it happened in Russia in the October revolution that
created a state which ruled out private-ownership relations from life-activities. It
tried to build on its basis a socialist society denying capitalism. In connection with
the untimely death of Lenin Russian people could not find their “own Bismarck”
capable of warning about the danger of the non-realization of Lenin’s change of
“the whole point of view on socialism”. So Lenin became a hostage of that
artificial false concept of the development of mankind. Now history reaps its bitter
fruit, the worst part of it being the mutilated life of the Russian people. It cannot be
worse, for it is but one step from falling out of History. Meanwhile, capitalism in
other countries, developing on its natural basis has become democratic in the most
advanced part of the world, though with excessive luxury and excessive poverty
for some categories of the population. Now there is a prospect of its transition to
the final stage of development of the civilization of owners – to “people’s
capitalism”, started by Lenin and his New Economic Policy of the 20s of the past
century, interrupted by his unlucky inheritors. It will be “people’s capitalism” with
the sources of self-development for every man. My thoughts about the sources of
self-development are not an invention, because man has always acted in
accordance with real sources of self-development, which were unfortunately
limited for the majority of people because of the civilization corrupted by the
division of the population into common people and the elite. Having written
articles I transmitted them to society. The “transmitter” Newton, like many other
discoverers of the motion of matter did not create them, but having cognized them,
they transmitted them from the world of matter into the spiritual world of humans.

That is what one ought to understand, take it as a guiding principle, and

continue his existence. No other choice is given. I do not mean given by God; it is

not programmed by the development of substance. Substance is a demiurge. Both
physical and social matters develop spontaneously in accordance with their sources
of development: man only has to catch (cognize) the main tendency of the
movement of life and support it. It is difficult for man-creator to agree with that – a
spontaneous habit to measure another's corn by one's own bushel: if it is not he
who is the author of this creation, then it must be someone else. And, for want of
an evident creator, he proclaims “god” to be one, a thing easily understood by a
non-creative intellect peculiar of the absolute majority of people. That is an
absurdity – the generally acceptable way of thinking with which it is time for
mankind to do away!

Man is the only subject in the creation who owes the preservation of his
species on the Earth to himself, and above all to his intellect. His existence takes
place in the process of obtaining the means of existence – the sources of self-
development.

In the civilization, in which he is destined to live, the development of human

intellect on a mass scale, initially and to this day, has been effected in the market
relations of ownership, the subjects of which are in competition and, at the same
time, in cooperation with one another. It is not accidental: peoples who affirmed
market relations earlier than the others are now in the vanguard of all mankind,
literally in all spheres of life of socium. I stress: in the role of the subject of the
market, not only the object like all proletarians, whose intellectual development is
miserable. Man can only play this role if he becomes the owner of the property that
brings income. It is question of the involvement of common people into intellectual
development – common people without any talents; their development goes on in a
different way - by teaching and books, but not without participation of ownership
either. This category of people works “day and night”, giving their brains no rest.
Such people are not numerous, and the results of their investigations, as the age-old
practice shows, are not sufficient to give answers to the challenges of Nature and
History, in particular, to rebuff the attacks of the top part of ignorance represented
by innumerable confessions. It so happened that mankind found itself in
intellectual misery. This is just the case marked by people’s wisdom: “Two heads
are better than one”. Quantity transforms into quality.

 Mankind is intellectually insufficient. The first source of self-development
of man is his intellect, responsible for the existence of not only his own species,
but for keeping his home – the planet Earth in due form. Today the intellect of the
absolute majority of mankind is working for survival: when a man’s life is at stake,
he does not think of where he’s going to spend his next weekend. A man who can
hardly make ends meet never thinks of things other than those that are absolutely
necessary for life. “High” problems, whether they are of physical or spiritual
quality (sociology, philosophy, literature and art) are for a narrow circle of people
called intellectuals. They penetrate into the depth of substance discovering what is
necessary for human existence, and casually, but sometimes on purpose, they
search for something that can reduce mankind up to its full destruction together
with the Earth. Nature “retaliates” these efforts of mankind by self-destruction,
destroying man, too. In a word, man has not enough intellect to answer the
challenges coming from the Depth of the Earth, the Ocean and the Space. It is
especially deplorable that there is no proper answer to the challenge of the social-
economic existence with its crises, unemployment and conflict processes. The
absolute majority of mankind lives in strain, hardly making both ends meet, and
dies early. Life is the gift of happiness to every living thing, and to man, who is
conscious of it. And what about the majority which lives unhappily? There is
everything on the Earth to make every man happy, and it is the task of society to
do it. Collective, pan-human intellect is required to answer all those challenges. I
am convinced: there is no task that human intellect cannot fulfill!

Most unfortunately, in the whole world in general and the more so in

Russia, the philosophical science including dialectics needs serious development16.
Philosophy must answer the main question of human existence and preservation of
his species: Is there in the given society (class, institution, phenomenon, etc.) a
source of its self-development, or not? A mistake in the answer to it leads to a
collapse. It happened so to Soviet socialism, it happened so to perestroika, and the

present post-perestroika regime has the same tendency. None of them had a source
of self-development, and they did not have any self-sufficiency. As a result we
have what we have. For over two centuries Russia has been going down. The
disintegration of Russia suspended by Bolshevist dictatorship and continued at
present by Putin authoritarian regime, is still on the agenda. And it will be
continued by other Russian regions.

The so-called “Izborsk Theses” testify that it will definitely happen. They
were compiled by Sergey Chernyakhovski on the basis of the discussions that took
place in the town of Izborsk (2012) of the people who gathered there. They were
“people of different tempers and views, from conservatives to Communists, from
radical oppositionists to mere loyalists, attached to different paradigms, different
methodologies and different postulates, convinced Orthodoxies and convinced
atheists. They were all united by the recognition of the fact that the previous
formats of Russia’s development were exhausted”17. The term “exhausted” should
have been replaced by the phrase “have led her to backwardness in all spheres of
life activity of society and lagging more than one century behind the world
standards (achievements). This mixed gathering of intellectuals agreed on a
number of contradicting one another principles (tasks), by which the state should
be guided in its activities. The most dangerous activists among them proclaimed:
“We must admit openly that a third World War is approaching”; “The only reason
why it has not started yet is the Soviet thermo-nuclear potential still kept by
Russia, capable, like the American one, to destroy everything on the planet. But
within the framework of the inertial scenario, the USA during approximately ten
years will create a possibility of its neutralization, and then the world war will
become unavoidable. The possibility to avoid it lies in the preparedness of Russia
for a war on a new technological level”. According to the old traditional habit to
seek the reason of her failures in the deeds of others, for Russia is always right18: to

Evidently, this trait in the people’s psychology, which is called the victorious “Russian spirit” –
the absurd heritage from some extremely hard period of the beginning of Russia as a state.
Unfortunately (for someone), and luckily, I am sure, for the overwhelming majority of the
Russian people, this heritage of the Russian spirit was wasted by stupid rulers, who hampered the
civilized development of the country, and it stopped working beginning from the Crimean war of
the 19th century. The Victory in the Second World War does not count, in the first place, because

“effect retribution to the forces and groups in the world who are guilty in the
catastrophe in Russia and in the whole world. Russia has been trapped…. If Russia
breaks out of this trap, it will break the whole world out of it”. It is a direct
orientation on a destructive for the second time COLD WAR-2 with the whole
western world!!! Pursuing this policy, the goal is set at the same time before Russia
“to become the best in the world – to create the best production …. (And all the
other things must be the best!). “Affirm as the chief mental task becoming the best
in all spheres of life. Not a single word is said that all this should be realized by the
people who have sources of self-development at hand, but not by impoverished
hired slaves”19. Evidently pinning hopes upon the state? It would not be bad to
recall Lenin’s attempt to make people happy with the help of the state and his
maxim concerning bureaucracy. The most pernicious variant of events is not
excluded: defeat in a cold war is evident; the Putin administration will for some
time indulge in intimidation, and if it does not give desirable results, will try to use
suddenness. The other side will not be long to retaliate, and life on Earth will come
to an end. The Izborsk community is playing with fire!

The state governing of society, which in itself is illegitimate, is

supplemented by the scientifically ungrounded programs of the opposition, within
which the “pigeons” of the powers are luxuriating, entertaining the masses and
their lumpenizing groups by slogans of dubious character. it is a victory “with tears in her eyes” (it was completed with irretrievable losses and broke the
people physically. According to rumours, Stalin. during the celebrations of the Victory, said in a
narrow circle that the Russian people “is worked out”; in the second, that victory became
possible thanks to the fact that the democratic non-communist world did not fight against the
Soviet Union – more than that: it fought on his side and did not decidedly prevent him from the
creation of the world “camp” of Communism, which he, guided by a non-consistent theory of
Communism and trying to realize it, could not preserve (which happened after the West began to
counteract it).

governed by ignorance and criminality: the most dangerous crime against
humanity, which reduces man to the status of a speaking animal is the
deprivation of the sources of his self-development (self-sufficiency).

I proceed from the thesis that among sane people there are those who are
endowed with some talent; but not all of them are required by time or revealed
because there are no appropriate conditions. As is seen from the situation in the
creation now, it will require all the capacity of human intellect. The problem is in
their revelation, development and usage. All the billions of intellects!
EXCLUDING THE VERTICALS!!! And, if it is not too late, and if we are not too
late, GO AHEAD, human intellect for the sake of BEING!

I will repeat myself: Russian people, having started to leave the totalitarian
system, have been returned to a feudal state, headed by a party with a false name, a
party of thieves, as it is called by the opposition, “Yedinaya Rossiya”. The unity
of a country takes place, when a people under horizontal links of its components,
grows up to a nation. It only happens in a democratic society, in which the
determining class is the middle class of owners, developing on the basis of natural
private property relations, but not on totalitarian ones, supported by the power state
capitalism, under which we are living.

Only those things live and develop, which have something natural as their
basis, but not supported only by force, for they will eventually be removed by
force. And if there is a need today to realize and affirm, in the first place,
something about creation, it is about its spontaneous development as substance,
and the development of man on condition he has the sources of self-development,
and vice versa, about his under-development, if he has none. In my works of the
recent years I have tried to remind the intellectuals and politicians that in scientific
use there is Hegel-Lenin philosophical thesis (ignored by them) about internal
contradictions, generating self-development of all things. I applied it to man,
pointing out specifically the sources of self-development, which are present now
and possible in market economy. Altogether they are a source of progress of
society and mankind in general if applied on a large scale.

 Again in this country some representatives of other nationalities raise their
heads by proclaiming themselves to be more Russian than the Russians.
Unfortunately, there is no Lenin to oppose them: Lenin in his time warned about
the danger for the country of this kind of people (Ordzhonikidze, Stalin).

There are only two alternatives: either go on putting up with the corruption
of the civilization of owners in the up-market form in which mankind have been
living from times immemorial, being a source of tragedy for man, or transform our
civilization into a democratic one as the BASIC condition of the
HUMANIZATION of mankind. This will start a happy way of life without the
oppression of man by man, whose title as a full subject of development will sound
proud.

Mankind ought to have something calling it for a better future. The problem
becomes more acute now that mankind has entered an endless heat wave of crises.
It even seems, in spite of historical laws but according to the formula “God loves
TRINITY”, that the possibility of a “hot” Third World War is not excluded. I
considered the “cold war” to be the “third world war”, for democratic forces
managed to turn “hot” wars into cold ones. I am afraid, however, that there are still
forces (China, Russia, Iran, Syria), which can provoke a hot world war. Then, the
“cold war’ that took place in the 40s – 80s of the 20th century and, to some extent
the cold war beginning now, will in fact be considered to be a prelude to a Third
World War. As a result, half of mankind will perish.

Having put all the function of its salvation on some inexistent god, mankind
is now facing three types of catastrophes: FIRST – social-economic, SECOND –
ecological and THIRD – geological-cosmic. It is hard to say which of them will
bury mankind, but most likely it will be the first one including all kinds of wars. It
is remarkable that in the solution (non-solution) of its problems lies the futurity
(will or will not take place) of the second and third variants, i.e. the solution of the
problems of the first type will help the solution of the problems of the second and
third types. In the long run the human factor will be a decisive one, the use of the
intellect of the multi-billion mankind, which is only possible when the concept of

the co-ownership of many people in the national wealth and in the world’s wealth
is realized and completed by the prosperity of the ownership relations on a
democratic basis. Of course, if it is not too late, if “the train has not left”. The
realization of the concept of co-ownership solves the following problems: 1) Gives
each man an external source of self-development, so it makes him an independent,
free man; 2) in the main for each man status of equality with all the other people,
he becomes equal in relation to all natural and historical wealth, forming the
psychology (conscience) of all-human unity of interests, banishing the present-day
selfish aspirations both of one man and some peoples, by the will of the fortune
gifted with more favorable conditions: natural riches (often poorly used or not used
at all!) or strength to insulate themselves from neighbors or exploit them; 3)
excludes from everybody’s life the vicious circle of market relations; enrichment
of some people on account of the pauperization of others; 4) it excludes the
scourge of the modern times – unemployment, allowing with the growth of labor
productivity to reduce not jobs as it is now, but the working hours of the workers,
increasing the time for sports, art and science; 5) distribution of property in the
masses and its cooperation allow to exclude financial crises and crises of
overproduction and say good-bye to the thievery, which is especially topical today:
the country is flooded by the total robbery of the state, headed by state officials of
the highest rank; the situation in the country is shameful, for it is packed with
thieves. It must be understood, that the people has become thievish because of its
eternal lack of ownership: the history of man, his society and social development
have made him an owner, if not in reality, but at least in his desire – not excluded,
since some time, kind of “genetically: ownership, as a source of life, “organizes”
man (depending on the degree of his passionarism and cultural and moral level) –
those who have it will try to save and increase it, and those who have not, will try
to obtain it by this or that means; 6) make wars of all hypostases impossible 7)
makes possible the solution of ecological problems; 8) creates all the necessary
conditions for intellectual breakthrough and answer the challenges of Nature (the
depths of the Earth, Ocean and Space) and History. In particular, accepting the
sociological THEORY OF COOPERATION as a guiding principle. At present,
mankind has begun cooperating regionally and even on the world scale on the
problems: ecological, general security, trade, customs, migration, currency. Next is

the social-economic cooperation with the purpose of granting an acceptable level
of well-being to all mankind, to each man on the basis of the world’s wealth,
uniting the national wealth of peoples. The destiny and happiness of mankind is in
the realization: from step to step, highward and broadwise of the Theory of
Cooperation! Mankind, having come to agreement with the main principle of
organization of all creation, by cooperating all and sundry will grow to its own
identity. Thus, mankind will approach the social perfection, which is the analogue
of “inner perfection” of Mother-Nature who has created it. The development of the
natural-instinctive is peculiar of all living things, in this case – of the subject
endowed with intellect, i.e. thanks to the latter. And, maybe the greatest mission of
the UN consists in initiating of the beginning of world cooperation on the basis of
the latest intellectual achievements on the problems of social development. It is
only this organization that can solve the problem of disunity of mankind in all of
its components: the alienation of man from his own self (direct or hired slavery),
from his own like in his society (nation), and then in other societies (nations,
states). Every man turns in his mentality, concern in the well-being of his nourisher
– the whole Planet and all her people into a CITIZEN OF THE WORLD with
intellect-morality on the one hand, and a citizen protected by all mankind, rid of
the lawlessness of “sovereign states” on the other. (There is no need to remind that
the problem of alienation (and slavery, too) is particularly topical for “atomized”
post-soviet societies with the majority of proletarian population in them.). 9) One
more real “utopia”: the realization of the concept of co-ownership would accelerate
the wholesome change of patriarchal mankind to matriarchy. At least because the
factual equality of sexes in the possession of all sources of social-economic self-
development – the abolition of the economic dependence of women on men (being
already practiced due to the need for women by the market, in many cases – as a
must).

7. The Truth of Truths

It is high time for mankind to be aware that from the very start it was
programmed to live on the Planet Earth in the civilization of owners. It so
happened in history that since some times the latter has formed as one for elite.
The task is to change it into a democratic civilization. So the FUTURE of mankind
is in its past, in the return in civilized development to the beginning, but on a
higher level. That, as experience started in Western Europe and North America
shows, will be gradual.

A people (any!), having realized with the sources of self-development of

every man, sufficient for sponsoring his and his society’s existence, will become
absolutely invincible. In conformity with the law of the majorat of the best in
everything including social-economic development, it will become a sample, and
other peoples will follow its example. Eventually it will be at the head of mankind,
and it will take up the role of the SAVIOUR of itself and its home – the planet
Earth.

The place of the Messiah is vacant. So far…. (WE WOULD VERY MUCH
LIKE TO SEE IN THIS ROLE A PEOPLE OF HIGH CULTURE AND
DEMOCRATIC WORLD OUTLOOK).

Mankind is in the need of an intellectual breakthrough. I, after Albert

Camus, suggest one of its variants: the idea of transferring the civilization of
owners from the elite stage to the democratic one with self-sufficient people, with

sources of self-development, giving every man the possibility of self-realization as
a humane, in the full sense of this word human.

Человечество нуждается в интеллектуальном прорыве. Я,

вслед Альберу Камю, предлагаю один из его вариантов. Исхожу из
того, что человечество с самого начала своего общественного
бытия формировало свою цивилизацию, как сообщество людей,
пользовавшихся всеми благами природы на равных началах.
Однако впоследствии, по причинам, как объективного, так и
свубъективного свойства, цивилизация оформилась как элитарная
цивилизация собственников. ЗАГЛАВНАЯ идея моей концепции –
ВОЗВРАЩЕНИЕ человечества на ИСХОДНЫЕ позиции, но на
более развитых. ИДЕЯ перевода цивилизации собственников из
элитарной стадии на демократическую, с людьми
самодостаточными, с источниками саморазвития,
обеспечивающими каждому человеку возможность
самореализации как человечному, в полном смысле этого понятия,
человеку.
